Both will be charged as adults

Two teenage boys believed to be behind the sick hit-and-run homicide of a retired police chief in Las Vegas have been named as they are charged as adults.

Jesus Ayala, 17, and Jzamir Keys, 16, are suspected of intentionally striking Andreas Probst, 64, while he was riding his bicycle down an empty highway in the northwest of the city at around 6am on August 14.

Ayala was arrested the same day, accused of being the motorist behind the wheel of the 2016 Hyundai Elantra which hit the retired cop.

Meanwhile Keys, who was detained this week following a police appeal for information, is believed to be the passenger who goaded the attack and filmed a sick video.

The duo were transferred to the Clark County Detention Center on Wednesday and they will face charges of murder with a deadly weapon, battery and attempted murder in Las Vegas Justice Court, according to local reports.

They appeared in separate hearings on Wednesday morning in Family Court, per the Las Vegas Review-Journal. DailyMail.com has contacted police and the attorney's office for confirmation and for photo identification of the suspects.

Two of Keys' relatives cried during his first appearance in court in front of Hearing Master Timothy Andrews.

One of Ayala's female relatives also attended his appearance before Hearing Master Randall Forman and used the assistance of a translator.

She shielded her face and held back tears as she walked past reporters outside the courtroom afterwards, according to the Journal.

Police said they also tied the teens to at least three hit-and-run incidents the same day. They believe the slaying of Probst, a former police chief in Bell, California, ended the spree.

Graphic video shows a dashboard view from the front seat of a vehicle approaching Probst from behind while he was riding near the curb on an otherwise traffic-free road.

Laughter and comments from inside the car are heard before Probst, wearing a red shirt and dark shorts, was struck and thrown against the windshield.

A final image from the moving car shows the retired top cop on the ground beside the curb.

Deputy Police Chief Nick Farese called the 'intentional' hit in a stolen vehicle and the sick video 'a cowardly act that in my 22 years of law enforcement left me personally appalled'.

At a news conference Tuesday, Taylor Probst described her father — known by loved ones as 'Andy' — as a man of honor and integrity who worked for more than 35 years in law enforcement.

'We are devastated by the senseless murder of Andy,' she said. 'Andy's life was robbed by two individuals who did not believe that lives of others matter.'

Probst urged the DA's office to 'take these crimes to the furthest extent of the law'.

Man, 26, and woman, 20, shot dead in murder-suicide at Georgia Walmart are identified as James Wyatt Nicholas Norton and Zoey Nicole Messenger - as terrified shoppers describe running for their lives

By Edward Era Barbacena

A man shot dead his ex-girlfriend before killing himself in a murder-suicide inside a Georgia Walmart, sending terrified shoppers running for their lives.

The police chief confirmed Zoey Nicole Messenger, 20, and James Wyatt Nicholas Norton, 26, were the two individuals that died in the murder-suicide.

Norton was an employee at the Walmart and Messenger appeared to have worked at Walmart but it is unclear if she worked at the Hiram store where she was shot.

Norton and Messenger died inside the store in Hiram after the shooting at 7:30pm on Wednesday. Investigators said the man opened fire on the woman. The pair had previously dated but Messenger ended their relationship.

Norton went up to Messenger in one of store's aisles after 7 pm and began to talk to her. Police said the conversation didn't appear to be angry but Norton suddenly pulled out a handgun and shot Messenger and himself.

First responders rushed to the scene and discovered the pair who had suffered at least one gunshot wound each

They were rushed to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital but were pronounced dead on arrival.

Nobody else was hurt in the shooting but shoppers in the store at the time were left terrified.

Devani Lopez was shopping in the store when the shooting broke out.

He said: 'As soon as I heard the second shot I rain straight for the exit,

'I heard the gun shot come from my left side so I ran to to the right exit,

'I ran straight for the car to see everyone running like for their lives - everyone was so panicked and scared.

'I ran straight for my car I didn't even drive off I just hid in the backseat and I just see everyone gathered around in the entrance.'

Hiram Police Chief Mike Turner said: 'What it appears to be is a known-to-known shooting event where both parties knew each other. This was not an active shooter. This was one person knew another person, there was some kind of former relationship,'

Turner said: 'They were both younger people'.

The police chief added that the scene must have been terrifying for people who were shopping and picking up

He said: 'Not only for the victim herself but for the other people in there - the fear that must have been instilled by the event.'

Walmart put out a statement: 'We’re heartbroken by what happened at our Hiram store tonight. Our priority, right now, is the safety of our associates and customers. The store will remain closed while we work with law enforcement during their investigation.'

Jury indicts American woman in deadly SC golf cart crash that left Charlotte-native bride dead

Jamie Komoroski is accused of driving drunk and crashing into a newlywed couple in Folly Beach, South Carolina. The crash killed Samantha Miller, the bride.

A South Carolina grand jury has returned four indictments against a woman accused of causing a crash that left a newlywed bride dead in April.

Jamie Komoroski, 25, received the indictment in Charleston County Court on Wednesday, according to NBC News. Komoroski is charged with felony DUI resulting in death, reckless homicide, and two counts of felony DUI resulting in great bodily injury.

Komoroski is accused of crashing into a golf cart in Folly Beach, South Carolina on April 28. The golf cart was occupied by four people, including Samantha Miller and her husband who were married just hours before the crash. Miller, a native of Charlotte, was killed in the crash.

Police said Komoroski was traveling 65 mph when she slammed into the golf cart. She was found to have a blood alcohol content level three times above the legal limit at the scene.

Miller's husband, Aric Hutchinson, was critically injured in the crash but survived.

Komoroski was arrested after the crash and has remained in jail since the crash without bond. She was denied bond in August, according to court records.

Hutchinson filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Komoroski in May. The case is ongoing with an "alternative dispute resolution" hearing scheduled for Dec. 13.

Catholic priests bless homosexual couples in defiance of a German archbishop

Catholic priests bless homosexual couples in defiance of a German archbishop

Several Catholic priests held a ceremony blessing same-sex couples outside Cologne Cathedral on Wednesday night in a protest against the city’s conservative archbishop, Cardinal Rainer Maria Woelki.

Their protest was triggered by Cologne church officials’ criticism of a priest from Mettmann, a town near Duesseldorf, who in March had held a “blessing ceremony for lovers” — including same-sex couples.

Officials from the Cologne archdiocese, which Mettmann belongs to, had reprimanded the priest afterward and stressed that the Vatican doesn’t allow blessings of same-sex couples, German news agency dpa reported.

The blessing of same-sex couples on Wednesday was the latest sign of rebellion of progressive believers in Germany’s most populous diocese with about 1.8 million members.

Several hundred people showed up for the outdoor blessing service for same-sex and also heterosexual couples. Waving rainbow flags, they sang the Beatles hit “All You Need Is Love,” dpa reported. A total of about 30 couples were blessed.

The German government’s LGBTQ+ commissioner called the service an important symbol for the demand to recognize and accept same-sex couples in the Roman Catholic Church.

“It is mainly thanks to the church’s grassroots that the church is opening up more and more,” Sven Lehmann said, according to dpa. “Archbishop Woelki and the Vatican, on the other hand, are light years behind social reality.”

Catholic believers in the Cologne archdiocese have long protested their deeply divisive archbishop and have been leaving in droves over allegations that he may have covered up clergy sexual abuse reports.

The crisis of confidence began in 2020, when Woelki, citing legal concerns, kept under wraps a report he commissioned on how local church officials reacted when priests were accused of sexual abuse. That infuriated many Cologne Catholics. A second report, published in March 2021, found 75 cases in which high-ranking officials neglected their duties.

The report absolved Woelki of any neglect of his legal duty with respect to abuse victims. He subsequently said he made mistakes in past cases involving sexual abuse allegations, but insisted he had no intention of resigning.

Two papal envoys were dispatched to Cologne a few months later to investigate possible mistakes by senior officials in handling cases. Their report led Pope Francis to give Woelki a “ spiritual timeout ” of several months for making major communication errors.

In March 2022, after his return from the timeout, the cardinal submitted an offer to resign, but so far Francis hasn’t acted on it.

Germany’s many progressive Catholics have also been at odds with the Vatican for a long time.

Several years ago, Germany’s Catholic Church launched a reform process with the country’s influential lay group to respond to the clergy sexual abuse scandals, after a report in 2018 found at least 3,677 people were abused by clergy between 1946 and 2014. The report found that the crimes were systematically covered up by church leaders and that there were structural problems in the way power was exercised that “favored sexual abuse of minors or made preventing it more difficult.”

The Vatican, however, has tried to put the brakes on the German church’s controversial reform process, fearing proposals concerning gay people, women and sexual morals will split the church.

On Wednesday night, just across from the hundreds of believers celebrating the blessings of same-sex couples, there were also about a dozen Catholics who demonstrated against the outdoor service, dpa reported. They held up a banner that said “Let’s stay Catholic.”

Australian paedophile who raped 12-year-old girl is jailed

Kenneth Marshall, 62, guilty of raping 12-year-old girl

By Edward Era

An 'emotionally manipulative' paedophile laughed at a 12-year-old girl after raping her, a court has heard.

Keith William Marshall told the girl 'you know, I love you,' while he raped her and she begged for him to stop in May 2020.

Marshall was found guilty of rape and indecent treatment of a child under 16 in Cairns District Court on Monday.

A heartbreaking victim impact statement read in court revealed the girl has been 'forever' changed by Marshall's actions, becoming angry and anti-social and had started self-harming after the assault.

The court heard Marshall asked the girl to sit on his lap, kissed and licked her ear and then digitally raped her.

The court heard Marshall held the girl down when she tried to move away and asked her if she enjoyed it.

The childcare worker charged with a sickening catalogue of child sex crimes would tell his alleged victims parents at pick-up time their kids 'had a great day' when in reality he had allegedly been raping them

When she replied 'no' twice, he responded, 'Don't you mean yes?'

Immediately after the assault Marshall laughed at her and slapped the girl on the bottom

'Is that what your mother does to you?' he asked her.

The court heard Marshall then told the girl not to mention it to anyone because he 'wanted to do more things' to her.

She became scared and later told her friends, who convinced her to tell her mother.

Her mother's impact statement said her daughter would 'never' be the same after the attack.

'She was happy, athletic, committed, friendly, loved school, worked hard, and trusted everyone,' Crown prosecutor Rachel Boivin said, reading out the statement.

'She is now no longer recognisable as the person she was before this crime.

'She will never be the same.'

Ms Boivin told the court the rape, 'changed her life and who she was, forever'.

Judge Tracy Fantin described Marshall's actions as 'exploitative,' 'forceful', 'brazen,' and 'emotionally manipulative.'

Marshall was found guilty on Monday and sentenced to four years jail with a two-year non-parole term.

Fr. Tomasz Zmarzły is under investigation after a sex party at his flat went horribly wrong

By Edward Era Barbacena

A priest who ordered a male prostitute and then called an ambulance after his friend collapsed from an overdose of erectile dysfunction pills is being investigated by prosecutors.

According to local media, Father Tomasz Zmarzły from the church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Angels in Poland had allegedly thrown a small party at his apartment in the city of Dąbrowa Górnicza.

But after taking copious amounts of potency tablets, in the early hours of the morning his naked friend keeled over.

The male prostitute is then said to have called the emergency services at which point the priest was said to have ordered him to leave.

When paramedics arrived they found the prostitute waiting outside the apartment but Father Zmarzły allegedly refused to let them in.

They then reportedly called the police who were eventually allowed inside where they found the priest’s friend lying on the floor unconscious.

He was taken to hospital where he later recovered and discharged himself.

A source close to the incident told the newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza: ‘The event was organised by clergy and was purely sexual.

‘Its participants took potency pills.’

Informing his superior about the incident the following day, Father Zmarzły denied that he had organised a ‘gay orgy’.

The Bishop of Sosnowiec which oversees the disgraced priest’s parish said he had appointed a commission ‘to urgently explain the circumstances of the situation.’

Meanwhile, prosecutors have now launched their own investigation into the priest for failing to help his friend.

Deputy district prosecutor Czesław Kurpiś said: ‘The local prosecutor's office is conducting proceedings regarding failure to provide assistance to a person whose life is at risk.

Established in 1901, the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Angels in Dąbrowa Górnicza was the first church in Poland to receive the title of basilica which was given by Pope Leo XIII.

Deranged white American man goes on racist, profanity-laced rant, threatens to ram into Black-American woman’s Vehicle

A crazy white American man was captured on camera hurling racial and other bigoted slurs while leaving a gas station convenience store.

After calling the register clerk the N-word, he is filmed getting into his car and then launching a vile tirade at the woman behind the cellphone recording him.

The video starts out with the cashier saying that their parents were born in the United States.

The man, dressed in a tan shirt, black shorts, tangerine, and black Nikes, who has a buzz cut, said, “No, they weren’t. You’re a n—er.”

An unnamed woman said that she was recording him, to which he responded, “I don’t give a f–k.”

Once outside, the man got inside of his green SUV and focused his attention on the person filming. As he began to drive around crazily in the gas station and berate the woman, she yelled, “Dude, f–k off.”

It was then that the man started to spit vulgarities at the woman and threaten her as she asked him to “get away” from her.

First, he called her ugly, but then commented, “You f–cking four-eyed sick b–ch,” and degraded her by saying her private parts smelled bad and called her a “dirty whore.”

Within seconds, he said he was going to ram his vehicle into hers.

“Let’s just smash the back of your car,” he said as he pulled his Ford back and seemed to approach her.

Terrified, the woman begged him to get away from her, and he did — swerving off.

The video of the event was uploaded to That Danesh Guy’s TikTok account and received 2.7 million views in less than 24 hours.

The TikToker identified the man in the video, but Atlanta Black Star has not been able to independently confirm his identity. It is also unclear what led up to the man’s hateful rant captured on the video.

Danesh says that the person looks and is dressed similarly to a man who previously had his bike stolen in Denver’s Washington Park neighborhood in August 2023. In an article on a local news website, the man said he was violently attacked by another person when he tried to get his bike back.

Danesh’s video garnered nearly 300 comments as of Monday evening. A copy of the video, which was reshared on X, has been viewed over 3 million times.

“That man has so much hate in his heart,” one viewer wrote. “Men are freaking losing their minds,” wrote another.

“What a nut job!” another chimed in. “The insanity is off the charts,” one viewer wrote.
