Muslim mass shooter of Colorado found guilty of first degree murder of 10 white Americans

Muslim mass shooter of Colorado found guilty of first degree murder of 10 white Americans

The jury found Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa guilty of shooting and killing 10 people at the South Table Mesa King Soopers on March 22, 2021

By Edward Era Barbacena

Jurors reached a verdict Monday afternoon in the Boulder grocery store shooting trial. The jury found muslim man Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa guilty of shooting and killing 10 people at the South Table Mesa King Soopers on March 22, 2021, in addition to guilty verdicts on dozens of other charges.

Jurors had to determine whether Alissa, the gunman who admitted to the shooting, was legally sane at the time of the attack.

In addition to the guilty verdict on 10 counts of first-degree murder, the jury also found the gunman guilty on 38 counts of attempted first-degree murder, guilty of one count of assault in the first degree and guilty on six counts of possession of a large-capacity magazine during the commission of a felony.

Gov. Jared Polis released the following statement on the guilty verdict, "Three years ago our community felt the unbearable pain of losing ten of our fellow Coloradans in a senseless attack on the Boulder community. That day loved ones, friends, and neighbors were taken from us far too soon by an act of pure evil. Today, justice is served. Though I know this guilty verdict won't heal the pain so many of us feel, or bring back those who were killed,  I hope that it can provide some peace. My thoughts are with the  family members and friends of Eric Talley, Rikki Olds, Teri Leiker, Denny Stong, Suzanne Fountain, Tralona Bartkowiak, Neven Stanisic, Lynn Murray, Jody Waters, and Kevin Mahoney, as well as the entire Boulder community. We are all still Boulder Strong."

Alissa's brother talked to CBS News Colorado outside of the courthouse. He said that his brother's mental health changed gradually over time, "We know he changed since 2018 to 2021... three years of changing, it's not like overnight."

When asked how he felt about the families of the victims in the shooting, he responded, "I feel bad and sorry for the victims, of course, if I was to put myself in their shoes, I probably would want him dead."

Several family members of those killed in the shooting spoke during the victim impact statement portion of the sentencing hearing on Monday afternoon.

"I wish the young man behind the gun would have received more love in his life because then maybe none of this would have happened," said Erika Mahoney, Kevin Mahoney's daughter.

Alissa was arrested at the scene.

Testimony for the prosecution included witnesses who were in the store at the time of the shooting and police officers who were first on scene after reports of the shooting. That witness testimony included one woman who said she heard the gunman saying, "This is fun" while shooting people inside the store.

Defense attorneys maintained that Alissa was suffering from a mental illness and didn't know right from wrong on the day of the shooting.

Opening statements in the trial began Sept. 5 after several years of delays due to the court working to determine whether the gunman was competent to stand trial.

Alissa pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to all of the charges including 10 counts of first-degree murder.

The verdict was read around 1:25 p.m. Sentencing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on CBS News Colorado's live stream.

Brook Cheuvront, 20, has been found dead after going missing while hiking a mountain in South Africa.

By Edward Era Barbacena

A North Carolina student has been found dead a day after she went missing while hiking a mountain in South Africa, authorities and her “devastated” family said Monday.

Brook Cheuvront, 20, was reported missing Saturday from Table Mountain in Cape Town — where she was studying — after she stopped responding to friends and couldn’t be located on a tracking app, a rep for SANPark, which manages the mountain,.

Rangers and trail runners searched until late Saturday, when it was no longer practical to continue, spokesperson JP Louw said.

An aircraft joined the search Sunday — and found the American student’s body.

“She was recovered,” confirmed her dad, Steve Cheuvront, who had planned to fly in from North Carolina to help look for his daughter.

“We are devastated. God help me and us,” he wrote.

The cause of Cheuvront’s death is unclear and an investigation has been opened, according to authorities.

Cheuvront was a sophomore at the University of North Carolina who was in South Africa for an internship at the University of Cape Town.

The 20-year-old from of Newland, North Carolina, was also the 2022 valedictorian at Avery County High School, where she was a track runner.

SANParks said suggestions that there are “growing concerns of crime” at Table Mountain are “speculative and may cause unnecessary alarm which undermines worthy and successful efforts,” in a social media post on Monday.

Mass shooting in the US leaves four dead and 18 injured in Alabama

Mass shooting in the US leaves four dead and 18 injured in Alabama

By Edward Era Barbacena

BBC: Birmingham Police A police car at the scene of Saturday night's shooting in Birmingham, AlabamaBirmingham Police

At least four people have been killed and 18 injured in a mass shooting in Birmingham, Alabama, police say.

“Multiple shooters fired multiple shots on a group of people” late on Saturday in the Five Points South area of the city, Birmingham police officer Truman Fitzgerald said.

Officers found the bodies of two men and one woman at the scene, while a third man later died of bullet wounds in hospital, Birmingham Police said

The culprits are believed to have approached the scene in a vehicle before getting out and opening fire. No suspects have been arrested.

He added that they believed the shooting was "not random and stemmed from an isolated incident where multiple victims were caught in the crossfire".

The shooting may have been a result of a murder-of-hire plot, Police Chief Scott Thurmond was quoted as saying by local news outlet Al.com.

The intended target was among those killed, Mr Thurmond said at a news conference on Sunday.

“It wasn’t the location, it was the person, so wherever the person was was where it was going to take place, wherever they can catch that individual,’’ Mr Thurmond said. "That’s just where they happened to catch them.”

The other victims - all of whom were standing outside - are so far believed to have been caught in the gunfire.

Four of the injured suffered life-threatening wounds, according to Mr Fitzgerald.

The BBC has contacted the Birmingham Police Department for comment.

Authorities are also pressing to find the shooters.

The police said in a statement that they are working with the FBI and other federal agencies, are offering a $5,000 reward for information and have opened a web portal for submitting photos and videos of the incident.

The Five Points South district is known for its nightlife. The shooting occurred on Magnolia Avenue, Mr Fitzgerald said.

Witnesses who were queuing outside a hookah and cigar lounge on Magnolia Avenue at the time told local news site Al.com that some of the gunfire sounded as though it came from a gun converted to be fully automatic.

Earlier on Sunday, Mr Fitzgerald had told reporters there were "dozens of gunshot victims" after the incident.

Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin blamed "Glock switches" - devices that can be attached to handguns to make them fire automatically - for the violence, posting on social media on Sunday that they "are the number one public safety issue in our city and state".

"Converting a semi-automatic weapon into a fully automatic weapon that discharges all bullets within seconds doesn’t belong on our domestic streets," he wrote, adding that the city does not have the power to outlaw Glock switches, only the state.

There have been more than 400 mass shootings across the US so far this year, according to the Gun Violence Archive, which defines a mass shooting as an incident in which four or more people are injured or killed.

The incident in Birmingham is the second mass shooting to place in a two-month period, and the third quadruple homicide of 2024, according to Al.com.

Dirty old illegal immigrant sexually assaulted girl, 14, after authorities failed to deport him

Dirty old illegal immigrant sexually assaulted girl, 14, after authorities failed to deport him

Sam Sharma drugged and sexually abused a teenage girl for over a year.

By Edward Era Barbacena

A filthy and dirty old muslim illegal immigrant paedhopile  managed to drug and sexually assault a “particularly vulnerable” 14-year-old girl after the Home Office “didn’t get round to” deporting him.

Sam Sharma, 34, from India, carried out shocking abuse of the child over more than 12 months after he’d spent 14 months in prison for racially abusing police officers as well as spitting and urinating on them. He also threatened to rape members of the officers’ families.

However, after his release from prison, he was not deported, despite being an illegal immigrant.

Sharma was allowed to roam the streets after his release because the Home Office “probably didn’t get round to it”, according to his defence counsel.

Sheriff Alison McKay has since jailed Sharma for a second time. His term is three years.

He was found guilty by a jury at Perth Sheriff Court of drugging and sexually abusing the teen in Dundee on 26 May 2023.

She said: “If he doesn't have a UK passport and it is correct that he has claimed asylum and been refused then Mr Sharma will be known. They can already deport Mr Sharma if they want to.

“I take the view that you are already within the sights of the Home Office and they will decide whether or not you will be deported.”

Baby found dead after being left in truck for hours; mother arrested

25-year-old Andrea Luncsford was taken into custody for endangering the life or health of an infant

By Edward Era Barbacena

This is not the first time in the United States wherein a helpless infant died after being left in a vehicle during a very hot day.

A mother in Illinois has been arrested after her baby was pronounced dead in a yard Monday night.

According to Peoria police, officers were called to a residence at about 7 p.m. where they found a 1-month-old infant not breathing and unconscious.

The boy, later identified as Grayson, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said the infant was pulled from a pickup truck and placed into a yard by his grandfather that evening where first responders found the boy.

Authorities said Grayson was left inside the truck for more than four hours.

According to an autopsy, the baby died from hyperthermia and severe dehydration.

Peoria police said Grayson’s mother 25-year-old Andrea Luncsford was taken into custody for endangering the life or health of the infant.

Luncsford has a criminal record dating back to 2019 where she has faced charges of aggravated battery of a peace officer on three previous occasions.

The 'Muslim Martin Luther’ Has Been Convicted of Rape

The 'Muslim Martin Luther’ Has Been Convicted of Rape

By Edward Era Barbacena

It is impossible to overstate how shocking this is for those who have praised Ramadan to the skies for so very long. For many years, Tariq Ramadan was the darling of the Western intelligentsia. In 2002, Salon hailed him as “the Muslim Martin Luther.” In 2004, Time Magazine listed him as one of the 100 most influential people in the world today. In 2012, Foreign Policy included him on its list of the top 100 global thinkers “for telling us that Islam and democracy can go together — just when it matters.”

Now those accolades, and the many others that Ramadan received, stand as mute witness to the left’s tendency to shower with honors those who tell it what it wants to hear. Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported Tuesday that Ramadan has been “convicted on appeal of rape and sexual coercion by a Geneva court.” This has been a long time coming, as Ramadan has faced numerous accusations in recent years of “masking violence and radicalism behind a mild facade.”

For years, Ramadan dismissed such allegations as “racism” and “Islamophobia.” In a Dec. 2019 video, he claimed that the accusations against him were all an attempt to discredit him and thereby “neutralize the Muslims.” He added: “We have to be clear that there is discrimination, stigmatization, racism that is at stake in the whole issue. And I was a symbol. To destroy me meant, let the people understand: If you want to be vocal you have to face the reality. It happened to Tariq Ramadan now, it could happen to anyone in the future.”

Even worse, RFI reported in 2020, after two more women accused him of rape, that “supporters of Ramadan, who is a professor of contemporary Islamic studies at Oxford’s St. Anthony’s College, have called the accusations against him part of a ‘international Zionist plot’ to blacken his name.” Of course!

It couldn’t have been that a cosseted Muslim academic, hailed and feted all over Europe and the United States despite the abject vacuity and sinister disingenuousness of his thought, began to indulge his worst impulses, now, could it? He couldn’t have been tempted to do so when it became clear that, in light of his value to Western authorities as a “moderate Muslim” who seemed to prop up their fantasies about the jihad threat, he would be allowed to get away with virtually anything – could he?

“Virtually anything” is actually an understatement. One of his accusers said he subjected her to “blows to the face and body, forced sodomy, rape with an object and various humiliations, including being dragged by the hair to the bathtub and urinated on.” His sadism appears to have been, if one allegation is true, closely intertwined with his celebrated Islamic piety: another one of his accusers said he told her he was raping her because she didn’t wear a hijab. In a similar vein, as more and more women began to accuse him of rape, one of those accusers has already been beaten and threatened.

His public persona was shot through with duplicity. French journalist Caroline Fourest’s illuminating book "Brother Tariq: The Doublespeak of Tariq Ramadan" states that this much-lionized putative “Muslim Martin Luther” was actually anything but a reformer: in reality, Ramadan was “remaining scrupulously faithful to the strategy mapped out by his grandfather, a strategy of advance stage by stage” toward the imposition of Islamic law in the West. Ramadan is the grandson of Hasan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Fourest was the first to reveal, back in 2017, that Ramadan had at least four other victims besides the first woman who came forward, Henda Ayari. “A request for religious advice turned into a compulsive sexual relationship, sometimes consented to, often violent and very humiliating, before ending in threats.”

Fourest had evidence. “I presented it to a judge. But Tariq Ramadan scared him too much…. I am well-placed to know the violence of the networks of the Muslim Brotherhood when one stands up to ‘brother Tariq.’”

“It was a plot,” Ramadan insisted. “It was a political set up. And this could happen to anyone.” The worst part of this duplicitous whining is that even now that Ramadan has been convicted, there are hordes of deluded leftists who will fall for it.

Filipino Paedhopile Cruise Ship Stateroom Attendant From Batangas Placed Cameras, Hid Under Beds to Produce Child Pornography

Filipino Paedhopile Cruise Ship Stateroom Attendant From Batangas Placed Cameras, Hid Under Beds to Produce Child Pornography

Arvin Joseph Mirasol has been sentenced to three decades in prison following his trial for surreptitiously planting cameras in cruise ship cabins and producing child pornography.

By Edward Era Barbacena

For some passengers on Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas cruise ship, it became a nightmare of shame and violation when they learned that a stateroom attendant had installed video cameras in their bathrooms and even hid under the bed to video them dressing after their showers.

The paedhopile Arvin Joseph Mirasol, 34,  from Lipa, Batangas, Philippines was sentenced Aug. 28 to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to producing child pornography, the U.S. Attorney for South Florida reported in a press release. He must also undergo sex offender treatments while he is incarcerated.

If there is any “bright side” to this dark tale, it would be that Mirasol’s voyeuristic reign of terror lasted only a few months, from December 2023 to Feb. 25, according to the criminal complaint.

Mirasol’s perversion was discovered when a guest found a camera mounted under the bathroom sink and reported it to ship security, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. The camera was found on Feb. 25. Royal Caribbean Cruise Line notified law enforcement the next day.

Crimes in International Waters

The offenses occurred while the ship was sailing in international waters, according to a March 7 detention hearing ruling and other court documents attained by The Daily Muck. Crimes committed in international waters fall “within the special maritime jurisdiction of the United States,” the investigators noted in their statements to the court.

When the ship docked at Port Everglades on March 3, agents from Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection boarded the ship to investigate. During that investigation, they found videos of children in various stages of undress and naked women passengers on Mirasol’s electronic devices. Investigators said they found images of 11 victims on Mirasol’s electronic devices, dating back to December 2023.

He was arrested and held without bond because U.S. Magistrate Judge Alicia O. Valle found he was a substantial flight risk due to his Philippine citizenship and facing a substantial prison sentence if convicted.

Mirasol made prosecutors’ job easy by including a video of himself installing a camera in one of the bathrooms, according to the criminal complaint.

I Want To Control It, But I Can’t

Mirasol waived his rights and admitted to putting a video camera in guests’ bathrooms. As a stateroom attendant, he had access to the passengers’ rooms to clean and service the cabins. He said he would retrieve the camera, view the videos and “pleasure himself."

Mirasol told them, “I want to control it, but I can’t.” In his plea agreement with U.S. Attorney’s Office, the predator told the agents, “If I like who is in that room, I place it.”

He said he typically targeted teenage girls 16 and older, but admitted he knew it was illegal to video underage girls. Agents reported finding videos on his devices of girls as young as 2-years-old.

They told the magistrate that two videos were of a 10-year-old girl “undressing, showering, and drying herself in the bathroom. At various points in the video, the child’s vagina is clearly visible.”

Snuck Into Cabins While They Were Occupied, Hid Under Bed

Mirasol said he would also sneak into the staterooms while passengers were showering, hide under the bed and use his cell phone to record them when they were naked.

Malaysian police rescue 400 minors from sexual abuse at muslim charity homes

Malaysian police rescue 400 minors from sexual abuse at  muslim charity homes

Victims aged between one and 17 were sexually abused and taught to do the same to each other at the facilities, police say

By Edward Era Barbacena

REUTERS: Malaysian authorities rescued more than 400 children on Wednesday suspected of being sexually abused at charity homes run by a prominent Islamic business organisation with links to a banned religious sect, the top police official said.

Police arrested 171 adults, including 'ustazs' or Islamic religious teachers, during coordinated raids on 20 premises across two Malaysian states, Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain said.

Those rescued included 201 boys and 201 girls, aged between one and 17, after reports were filed this month that alleged neglect, abuse, sexual harassment and molestation, Razarudin told a press conference. He did not say who wrote the reports.

The homes were all run by Global Ikhwan Services and Business (GISB), Razarudin said.

In a statement late Wednesday, GISB denied the sexual abuse allegations and said it did not manage the charity homes. "It is not in our policy to plan and carry out actions that are against Islamic and national laws," the company said, adding that it would file a police report and demand an investigation.

GISB, involved in businesses ranging from supermarkets to laundromats, operates in multiple countries, including Indonesia, Singapore, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, France, Australia and Thailand, according to its website.

Razarudin said preliminary police investigations had found that the rescued minors were children of Malaysian GISB employees, who were sent to the homes shortly after they were born, before being subjected to multiple forms of abuse.

The children will be sent for health screening and documentation, Razarudin said, adding that the case was being investigated under laws covering sexual offences against children and human trafficking.

"The children and religious sentiments were also used to gain public sympathy and raise funds for the organisation," he said. "What we have seen is the indoctrination of children using religious tools in a harmful way."

Muslim militants are murdering thousands of Christians but the mainstream media won't reveal it

Muslim militants are murdering thousands of Christians but the mainstream media won't reveal it

By Edward Era Barbacena

If 16.2 million Muslims had been displaced in sub-Saharan Africa due to violence by Christians, what would be the level of coverage in a Western news outlet such as the BBC? One imagines it would be quite substantial.

Open Doors, a charity which supports persecuted Christians around the world, is trying to draw attention to the displacement of this number of Christians in the region by Islamist violence. But it faces an uphill task in generating interest in the mainstream Western media.

Open Doors has produced a film featuring Pastor Barnabas, who ministers to a Christian congregation in a displacement camp for Christians who have fled Islamist violence in Benue State in northern Nigeria. He is shown saying: “Millions of Christians are displaced, here in Nigeria. Millions of Christians are displaced in Africa. The news doesn’t care about it, politicians don’t talk about it, governments don’t talk about it, global politics don’t talk about it. Nobody talks about it.”

The film shows Pastor Barnabas stooping down and indicating the tent in which his family of eight has been living for nearly five years. Their home is made of palm leaves and mosquito nets with some cardboard evident. “It’s smaller than a double mattress,” he says.

Open Doors reports:

Last year, and for many years, more Christians were killed for their faith in Nigeria than the rest of the world combined. The same violent persecution is quickly spreading across other parts of sub-Saharan Africa, as Islamic extremist ideology spreads: as well as these murders, huge numbers of believers are injured, abducted, sexually assaulted or forced to flee from their homes.

Pastor Barnabas describes the attack by militant Muslim Fulani herdsmen on his family farm: “I was on the farm with my brother, Everen, and his wife, Friday. We heard shooting. We saw people running in different directions. We didn’t know what was happening.

“My brother was shot by the militants, and my brother’s wife was also shot and then macheted and killed by the militants.”

Earlier this month, Christian Today publicised a report by the Observatory for Religious Freedom in Africa (ORFA) which says nearly 17,000 Nigerian Christians lost their lives because of violence between 2019 and 2023.

The reports says that over half the deaths (55%) were at the hands of radicalised Muslim Fulani herdsmen. “Islamist extremists enjoy relative freedom to carry out atrocities against civilians in large regions of Nigeria,” ORFA observed.

The study records that there were Muslim fatalities in the violence but the number of Christian victims (16,769) more than doubled the number of Muslims killed (6,235).

“In states where attacks occur, proportional loss to Christian communities is exceptionally high. In terms of state populations, 6.5 times as many Christians are being murdered as Muslims,” said ORFA.

Senior ORFA analyst Frans Vierhout said: “Millions of people are left undefended. For years, we’ve heard of calls for help being ignored, as terrorists attack vulnerable communities. Now the data tells its own story.”

The BBC does occasionally cover the violence in Nigeria. For example, in June 2022 BBC Verify did a feature on ‘Are attacks on Christians in Nigeria on the rise?‘

But it would appear that the general lack of journalistic interest in the current crisis in sub-Saharan Africa is down to the woke mind virus that has infected the Western media. If the story were about Muslims or LGBT people rather than about Christians, wouldn’t Western news organisations be putting a lot more resources into covering it?

12 dead after migrant boat sinks in waters off northern France

12 dead after migrant boat sinks in waters off northern France

By Edward Era Barbacena

A boat carrying migrants ripped apart in the English Channel as they attempted to reach Britain from northern France on Tuesday, plunging dozens into the treacherous waterway and leaving 12 dead, authorities said.

Many didn't have life preservers in what one official called the deadliest migrant accident in the channel this year.

"Unfortunately, the bottom of the boat ripped open," said Olivier Barbarin, mayor of Le Portel near the fishing port of Boulogne-sur-Mer, where a first aid post was set up to treat victims. "If people don't know how to swim in the agitated waters ... it can go very quickly."

The mayor said 12 died after initially giving a toll of 13. Lt. Etienne Baggio, a spokesman for the French maritime prefecture that oversees that stretch of sea, said rescuers pulled a total of 65 people from the waters in a search operation that lasted more than four hours. Doctors confirmed 12 did not survive, he said.

Baggio called it the deadliest migrant boat tragedy in the English Channel this year. Many of those aboard didn't have life vests, he said. It was not immediately clear how the boat ripped open or what kind of boat it was. Some attempt the crossing in rubber dinghies.

The maritime prefecture said the boat got into difficulty off Gris-Nez point between Boulogne-sur-Mer and the port of Calais further north. Sea temperatures off northern France were around 20 degrees C, or about 68 F.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said he was heading to the scene of what he described as the "terrible shipwreck." Last week, the leaders of France and Britain agreed to deepen cooperation on illegal migration in the channel.

Europe's increasingly strict asylum rules, growing xenophobia and hostile treatment of migrants have been pushing them north.

At least 30 migrants have died or gone missing while trying to cross to the U.K. this year, according to the International Organization for Migration. That figure doesn't include the latest deaths.

At least 2,109 migrants have tried to cross the English Channel on small boats in the past seven days, according to U.K. Home Office data updated Tuesday. The data includes people found in the channel or on arrival.

Homosexual illegal immigrant arrested for raping 10-year-old boy in Mississippi

Homosexual illegal immigrant arrested for raping 10-year-old boy in Mississippi

A previously deported illegal immigrant from Mexico with a significant rap sheet allegedly raped a 10-year-old boy in Mississippi, Homeland Security sources told The Post.

The Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department said its deputies arrested “illegal alien” Filiberto Gonzalez, 34, at his area home Aug. 12 for the alleged rape.

Gonzalez previously snuck into the country at an unknown time and was arrested by Mississippi authorities in 2012 for an assault, which he was convicted of, and a DUI in 2016, according to sources.

He was then deported by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in 2017 but again snuck back into the country at an unknown time, sources said.

Gonzalez remains in the sheriff’s custody pending his upcoming hearing on two charges of rape.

It remains unclear when and where Gonzalez entered the US.

The sexual assault is only among the latest in a slew of alleged migrant-perpetrated sex crimes. Over a recent two-week period, there were at least three such reputed migrant crimes in New York City alone.

Senegalese migrant Papa Diop, 38, was arrested last week for allegedly raping a 36-year-old woman in The Bronx, according to authorities. He crossed the border in 2023 and was released into the US because of a lack of detention space.

The day before Diop’s arrest, cops nabbed Nicaraguan national Daniel Davon-Bonilla, 24, for allegedly raping a woman at knifepoint under the Coney Island boardwalk in Brooklyn.

Davon-Bonilla allegedly had a fellow migrant accomplice, who smashed the victim’s boyfriend with a pipe when he tried to intervene, according to police and prosecutors.

Ousmane Balde, 20, who hails from Guinea, also was arrested Aug. 6 and is accused of fondling a 57-year-old woman in Central Park in Manhattan

Five charges have been filed by the waiter who was berated by former homosexual TV personality and host Jude Bacalso following the incident where the former addressed the latter as “sir.”

On Wednesday, August 28, Bacalso was charged with Unjust Vexation, Grave Scandal, Grave Coercion, Grave Threats, and Slight Illegal Detention.

“As of now, the victim is still traumatized but is trying to co-exist with society. We’re also helping him but the effect (of the incident) to his mental health was significant,” said Atty. Ron Ivan Gingoyon from Cabrido and Law Firm who is representing the server.

Atty. Gingoyon also remarked that Bacalso has not made any attempt on his end to settle the issue with the waiter.

Online attention regarding the incident sparked after an image went trending showing the waiter being made to stand in front of the entitled homosexual Bacalso for allegedly two hours.

Two Injured After Sinkhole Opens Directly Below SUV In South Korea

By Edward Era Barbacena

A sinkhole suddenly opened and swallowed a SUV in South Korea’s capital on Thursday, injuring the two occupants, emergency workers said.

Photos from the scene showed a white sport utility vehicle engulfed in the eight-foot-deep hole that appeared on a street in the central part of Seoul.

Emergency workers rescued the vehicle’s 82-year-old male driver and a 76-year-old female passenger. No one else was hurt in the incident, according to Seoul’s Seodaemun district fire station.

The conditions of the injured victims were not immediately known. Traffic in the Seondaemun area continued to be restricted as of Thursday evening as workers and officials repaired the damaged road and investigated the cause of the sinkhole.

Last week, a 48-year-old tourist from India disappeared in Malaysia’s capital when pavement collapsed beneath her and caused her to fall into a 26-foot-deep sinkhole. Officials said that she may have been swept away by an underground water current.

South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport told lawmakers last year that at least 879 sinkholes were reported in the country from 2019 to June 2023. Nearly half of those sinkholes were caused by damaged sewer pipes, the ministry said at the time.

The Head of the IBA stated that Imane Khelif’s gold medal would be revoked unless she could prove that she is legally recognized as a biological woman

Edward Era Barbacena

In a shocking development, the head of the International Boxing Association (IBA) has announced that Algerian boxer Imane Khelif could face the revocation of her gold medal if she is unable to prove that she is legally recognized as a woman.

The stunning declaration has sent shockwaves through the sports world, raising serious questions about gender verification in professional sports.

Imane Khelif, who recently claimed the gold medal in her division, now finds herself at the center of a controversy that could potentially strip her of her hard-earned victory. The IBA’s president made it clear that Khelif’s medal is contingent upon her providing legal documentation that confirms her gender.

The announcement has ignited a fierce debate about the procedures and ethics of gender verification in sports, with many questioning the timing and the motivations behind such a drastic measure. Supporters of Khelif argue that her achievements in the ring should not be overshadowed by such a controversy, while others insist on the importance of adhering to the rules governing gender categories in competitive sports.

As the situation unfolds, the world watches closely to see how this unprecedented case will be resolved and what implications it might have for the future of gender policies in sports

By Edward Era Barbacena

Swimming, a sport celebrated for its combination of skill, stamina, and discipline, has recently plunged into the depths of a societal debate that transcends the confines of the pool. The recent refusal of an opposing team to compete against Will (Lia) Thomas, a homosexual swimmer who claims to be a woman  reignites a heated discussion on fairness in sports.

Will (Lia) Thomas, a swimmer for the University of Pennsylvania, transitioned from male to female and has been competing in women’s collegiate swimming. As per NCAA regulations, he has adhered to the guidelines set for transgender athletes, which primarily revolve around maintaining a specific testosterone level for a stipulated period.

Despite adhering to NCAA protocols, he still has a body built of a man, a muscular strength of a man because in fact, he is a biological man that gives him a lot of advantage against real women.

The three feral muslim migrants from Pakistan were located and brought to the Mykonos Security Sub-Directorate on August 24 and in fact during their examination they admitted to the act of rape, while their mobile phones have been sent to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.

At the same time, as happens in these cases, samples of biological material were taken in order to identify them. However, the issue is why the Pakistanis were released.

The information says that the Pakistanis were taken to the Syros public prosecutor's office, however they were released because the results from the forensic laboratories have not come out, which is expected to happen in the next few days.

Thus, there is a visible risk that the alleged perpetrators will leave the country whenever they want until the results are out, as there is no restraining order. It is worth emphasizing that the video that the authorities have in their hands is not clear and does not show rape.

The case unfolded on June 30 but the perpetrators remained unknown until noon last Saturday

After an evaluation of video footage and witness statements, it emerged that the perpetrators of the rape are three people of Pakistani origin.

In fact, the foreigners were brought to the island's security department and confessed their act. The police confiscated for examination two mobile phones in their possession, as well as biological material that was sent for examination and identification to forensic laboratories.

Mark Zuckerberg reveals that the White House ‘pressured’ Meta to ‘censor’ Covid-19 content

By Edward Era Barbacena

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Monday admitted his company caved to Biden administration requests to censor content related to COVID-19.

The admission came in a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio. Rep. Jordan in 2023 released “The Facebook Files,” a series of documents accusing the White House of waging a pressure campaign against Facebook and other major social media platforms to censor discourse about COVID-19.

Former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was among those affected by the censorship after expressing skepticism of vaccines via Instagram, according to the files.

The House Judiciary GOP touted the letter via X, describing it as a “big win for free speech.”

“Mark Zuckerberg also tells the Judiciary Committee that he won't spend money this election cycle,” it wrote. “That's right, no more Zuck-bucks. Huge win for election integrity.”

Internal Facebook emails acquired by the Wall Street Journal last year showed executives discussing potentially controlling users’ posts on the virus, which further fueled the accusations. The publication wrote Meta had “bowed” to the White House’s demands.

Rep. Jordan on Monday released theletter from Zuckerberg to the House Judiciary Committee. The CEO in his letter admitted his company had complied with the alleged White House pressure campaign.

"In 2021, senior officials from the Biden administration, including the White House, repeatedly pressured our teams for months to censor certain COVID-19 content, including humor and satire, and expressed a lot of frustration with our teams when we didn’t agree,” Zuckerberg wrote. “I believe the pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it.”

Zuckerberg said the company has since adjusted its internal fact-checking measures and has reevaluated how it will react to government pressure in the future.

The CEO in the letter also addressed his previous support of “electoral infrastructure,” in which he donated funds to provide additional staff and voting machines at polling places. Wisconsin voters in April outlawed the influence of these “Zuckerbucks” in a state constitutional amendment.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre addressed censorship concerns in 2023, saying social media companies are responsible for moderating their own content.

“We have consistently made it clear that we believe social-media companies have a critical responsibility to take account of the effects of their platforms that they have on the American people, while making independent decisions about the content of their platforms,” Jean-Pierre said.

Zuckerberg in July described former President Donald Trump’s reaction to the assassination attempt against him as “one of the most bada-- things I’ve ever seen in my life.” In that conversation, Zuckerberg also said he chose not to endorse either candidate for president in the November election.

That announcement came before President Joe Biden’s decision to exit the race.

Greek coastguard fires on migrant boat that illegally entered the Greek territorial waters, one dead

The boat, carrying 14 migrants had left Turkey’s nearby shores and illegally entered Greek territorial waters

By Edward Era Barbacena

A 39-year-old migrant was found dead on Friday (23 August) after the Greek coastguard opened fire on a vessel carrying migrants off the island of Symi in the eastern Aegean Sea, authorities said.

In a statement, the coastguard said the man died “probably from a bullet” and that shots were fired at the outboard engine of the migrant boat in an effort to immobilise it after it ignored warnings to stop.

An investigation has been launched, a coastguard official told Reuters, without elaborating. A source with knowledge of the inquiry said a Greek prosecutor had also ordered the arrest of the coastguard officer who fired the shots and the confiscation of that weapon.

The boat, carrying 14 migrants – eight men, one woman and five minors – had left Turkey’s nearby shores and illegally entered Greek territorial waters, the coastguard said.

When it was located by a coastguard patrol, the boat increased speed and did not respond to visual and audio warnings, the coastguard said. It then performed dangerous manoeuvres, approaching the coastguard vessel and putting the lives of coastguard crew members at risk, it added.

“Warning shots were fired to prevent an immediate risk to the coastguard vessel and its crew … and subsequently targeted shots were fired at the outboard engine aimed at immobilising the speedboat,” the coastguard statement said.

The dead migrant was believed to be from Kuwait. Two men were arrested on suspicion of people smuggling.

Greece has been a favoured gateway to the European Union for migrants and refugees from the Middle East, Africa and Asia since 2015, when nearly 1 million people landed on its islands, causing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. Thousands of others have died at sea.

Nine perished after a boat carrying migrants capsized in a river between Serbia and Bosnia

18 migrants, including three children, managed to cross into Bosnia, out of 25 people who were in the boat when it overturned.

At least nine people have died after a boat carrying migrants capsized in the Drina River, which separates Serbia and Bosnia, according to officials. The tragic incident occurred on Thursday near the Serbian border town of Ljubovija. Rescue teams recovered the bodies, while the search continues for those still missing.

Bosnian and Serbian authorities were alerted to the incident early in the morning. Of the estimated 25 people on board, 18 survivors, including three children, were found on the riverbank.

Despite ongoing search efforts, the death toll may rise further. The accident underscores the persistent dangers faced by migrants taking the perilous "Balkan route" in their attempts to reach the European Union.

Serbian police received a call around 5 a.m. from their counterparts in Bosnia and a citizen who reported the accident, said Interior Minister Ivica Dacic.

Dacic said that 18 migrants, including three children, managed to cross into Bosnia, out of 25 people who were in the boat when it overturned.

“Police and rescuers are continuing a further search of the Drina river and the surrounding terrain,” said Dacic in a statement.

Dacic said that out of 18 migrants who made it to shore, 16 are from Syria and two are from Egypt. They include 10 minors.

Migrants using the so-called Balkan land route in their efforts to reach Western Europe come to Serbia from Bulgaria or North Macedonia before moving on to Hungary, Croatia or Bosnia.

To reach wealthy European countries, people fleeing wars and poverty often turn to people smugglers to take them across borders without authorization.

A priest was arrested on Aug. 18 in the city of Coari, in Brazil’s Amazonas state, after a police inquiry concluded that he abused at least four teenagers.

One of them ended up pregnant and was forced by him to have an abortion.

Thirty-one-year-old Father Paulo Araújo da Silva was initially reported by A priest was arrested on Aug. 18 in the city of Coari, in Brazil’s Amazonas state, after a police inquiry concluded that he abused at least four teenagers.

One of them ended up pregnant and was forced by him to have an abortion.

Thirty-one-year-old Father Paulo Araújo da Silva was initially reported by an anonymous person in 2023. The police launched an investigation and talked to one of his victims. The 17-year-old teenager told the authorities that she and da Silva began a relationship when she was only 14. She said that he used to make and store videos of their sexual acts.

Police deputy José Barradas Jr. told the press that the victim was facing enormous pressure from da Silva when she looked for police help last year.

“She was undergoing strong psychological violence, because the priest not only co-opted the victims in his parish, but also forced them to remain in a relationship with him,” he said, according to local news website Amazonas Atual. Da Silva would never allow the victims to stop seeing him and even said things like “if you’re not with me, you won’t be with anybody else.”

One victim told the investigators that she got pregnant in 2023. He immediately told her to have an abortion.

“That’s the context when a 34-year-old man, who is now on the run, also participated [in the crime]. He’s a friend of the priest and was the person who gave to the teenager a medicine, which she took and which resulted in the abortion,” Barradas said, according to Brazilian news outlet G1.

All identified victims were churchgoers and members of the Diocese of Coari’s Saint Peter parish, headed by da Silva. According to the police, witnesses told them that the priest would always ask the victims to bring other girls, so they could have group sex. And he always made sure to tape everything.

When the agents broke into the parish to detain da Silva, he was on his bed with a young lady who had just turned 18, “which means that the priest already had sex with her when she was a minor,” Barradas said.

The police took control of da Silva’s smartphone and found at least 260 videos made by the priest showing sex acts with minors. The priest also had R$ 30,000 (about US$ 5,500) with him in his bedroom.

According to the Diocese of Coari, da Silva was born in 1992 and was ordained in 2018.

On Aug. 18, after the priest’s imprisonment, the Diocese released a statement in which it manifested its “repudiation to all forms of abuse and exploitation.”

“The Diocese of Coari expresses its solidarity to the victims and their families and is immediately available to accompany and help [the victims] overcome the traumas provoked by Father Paulo Araújo da Silva’s abuses,” the document read.

The diocese said “all the necessary canonical measures” have been taken. The priest was suspended and can no longer have any activity in the parish. The Church is also available to work with the authorities in the inquiry, concluded the note, signed by the diocese’s chancellor, Father Josinaldo Plácido da Silva.

The priest will be indicted for crimes like raping minors or vulnerable people, ommiting assistance to children and teenagers, producing and storing pornographic contents involving minors, forcing an abortion, and menacing a woman of violence.

UK Intensifies Crackdown on Illegal Migrant Crossings with New Measures

UK Intensifies Crackdown on Illegal Migrant Crossings with New Measures

By Edward Era Barbacena

The UK government, led by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, has announced a series of stringent measures to combat the rising number of illegal asylum seekers arriving on small boats from France.

This initiative comes in the wake of Labour's overwhelming victory in the July 4 election, where curbing small boat arrivals was a pivotal issue.

Key actions include the recruitment of 100 specialist intelligence and investigation officers for the National Crime Agency (NCA).

These officers will focus on dismantling the smuggling gangs responsible for organizing these perilous crossings.

The Home Office aims to achieve the highest rate of deportations of failed asylum seekers in five years over the next six months.

Interior Minister Yvette Cooper emphasized the government's commitment, stating, "We are taking strong and clear steps to boost our border security and ensure the rules are respected and enforced."

In addition to bolstering the NCA, the government plans to expand detention capacity at removal centres by adding 290 beds and redeploying staff.

Employers who hire individuals without the right to work in the UK will face financial penalties, business closure orders, and possible prosecutions.

Prime Minister Starmer has also pledged to dismantle the people-smuggling gangs and strengthen cooperation with European countries, particularly France.

He has scrapped a controversial scheme to deport illegal migrants to Rwanda, a flagship policy of the previous Conservative government.

Israel announced that they have retrieved the six bodies of Israelis from Gaza that the muslim hamas abducted and butchered

By Edward Era Barbacena

The bodies of six Israeli hostages have been retrieved from Gaza during an overnight military operation in Khan Younis, Israeli authorities said Tuesday, as the latest ceasefire negotiations continue.

In a joint announcement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israeli Security Agency (ISA) named them as Yoram Metzger, Alexander Dancyg, Avraham Munder, Chaim Peri, Nadav Popplewell and Yagev Buchshtab.

All but Munder had been announced dead in recent months by the Israeli military.

“Tonight our forces returned the bodies of six of our hostages who were held by the murderous terrorist organization Hamas,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement on Tuesday, thanking those involved in the operation for their “bravery and determined action.”

“Our hearts ache for the terrible loss,” he said.

Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that the IDF and ISA had entered Hamas tunnels in a “complex operation” to retrieve the hostages’ bodies.

“We will continue working to achieve the goals of this war - returning the hostages to Israel and dismantling Hamas,” Gallant said on X.

A joint statement by the ISA and IDF said the operation was “enabled by precise intelligence” from the two agencies’ intelligence units, and the IDF Intelligence Directorate Hostage Headquarters.

There are currently 109 Israeli hostages being held in Gaza, including 36 believed to be dead, according to data from the Israeli Government Press Office.

Munder, 79, Metzger, 80, and Peri, 80, were all residents of Kibbutz Nir Oz, near the Gaza border, where they were captured during Hamas’ October 7 attacks, according to statements from the kibbutz.

Munder was taken along with his wife, daughter and grandson, who were later freed during a temporary truce between Israel and Hamas in November. Munder’s son, Roee, was killed during the attack.

Nine-year-old Ohad Munder told Israel’s public broadcaster Kan 11 on Tuesday that the death of his grandfather and the other hostages “shouldn’t have happened.”

“There have already been many times when there were negotiations for (a) deal… and then they say no – and in the end they don’t want it, and always regret it at the last minute. All the hostages could have returned alive even on the first day. They could have brought back grandfather and all the other hostages,” Ohad said.

Metzger’s wife Tami was also kidnapped and later released in the November truce

Popplewell, who was 51 when abducted, and Buchshtab, 35, were taken from Kibbutz Nirim, the kibbutz said in a statement.

In May, Hamas’ military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, claimed Popplewell, a dual British-Israeli citizen, had died more than a month earlier of wounds he sustained after an Israeli airstrike hit the place where he was held. CNN was not able to independently verify the claim by Hamas.

The IDF said in July that Buchshtab was believed to have been held in Khan Younis and died several months ago, while the IDF was operating there. It did not detail the circumstances of the death at the time.

About 1,200 Israelis were killed and some 250 others kidnapped during Hamas’ October 7 attacks on Israel, according to Israeli authorities.

More than 40,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 92,000 injured during Israel’s war in Gaza, according to the health ministry in the enclave.

Blinken said that the next step in the ceasefire talks “is for Hamas to say yes.”

He arrived in Egypt on Tuesday for talks with top officials to “get the latest from them on what they are hearing” from Hamas, Blinken said. Further high-level negotiations are expected to resume as soon as this week in either the Egyptian or Qatari capital.

Meanwhile, Hamas issued a statement rebuking US President Joe Biden’s comments about the group “backing off” from a ceasefire deal.

Speaking to reporters outside the Democratic National Convention early Tuesday, Biden said: “Israel says they can work it out, they’re prepared – but I was told Hamas is now backing off. It remains to be seen, we’re going to keep pushing.”

Hamas said in a Tuesday statement that “Biden and Blinken’s statements are misleading claims, and do not reflect the true position of the movement, which is keen to reach a cessation of aggression.”

“We consider these statements a renewed American green light for the government of Zionist extremists to commit more crimes against defenseless civilians, and in pursuit of the goals of exterminating and displacing our people,” it added.

Hamas has previously indicated it will not accept the latest proposal, saying on Sunday that the latest proposal doesn’t include a permanent ceasefire and introduced new conditions in the prisoner exchange, among other issues.

In a statement on Sunday, the militant group placed blame on Netanyahu for “obstructing” a deal from being reached.

The Hostage and Missing Families Forum said Tuesday that the recovery of hostage bodies provided “necessary closure,” and called for urgency to finalize a deal.

“The Israeli government, with the assistance of mediators, must do everything in its power to finalize the deal currently on the table,” it said in a statement.

Deranged American homosexual predatory paedophile sent to Illinois women’s prison to serve 87-year sentence for sexually molesting a minor

Deranged American homosexual predatory paedophile sent to Illinois women’s prison to serve 87-year sentence for sexually molesting a minor

James Blessent, a pervert man who claims to be a woman, will be ineligible for parole until 2095

By Edward Era Barbacena

James "Michelle" Blessent has been sent to the Logan Correctional Center for Women in Lincoln, with the trans-identified male being housed alongside female inmates, according to Reduxx. Blessent is legally male and marked as such in the Illinois Offender Directory.

A trans-identifying man from Bloomington, Ill., was sentenced to 87 years in prison after admitting to child grooming and two counts of sexual assault against a victim under the age of 13. Michelle Blessent, formerly known as James, received a sentence of 42 years for each count of predatory criminal sexual assault. Additionally, he was sentenced to three years for the count of grooming. The sentences will run consecutively, meaning Blessent will serve a total of 87 years.

"The men and women of the Bloomington Police Department strive to hold violent offenders accountable through diligent and effective investigations," said Bloomington Police Chief Jamal Simington in a statement, according to WGLT. "The unfortunate victims in these cases deserve the best possible outcomes, and I pray the deliverance of justice helps with the healing process."

Under Illinois sentencing laws, 85 percent of sentences related to criminal sexual assault must be served, making Blessent ineligible for parole until 2095. Blessent was arrested in April 2023. Upon arrest, Blessent, who identifies as transgender, attempted to argue that he could not have committed these crimes because his cross-sex hormones affected his ability to maintain an erection.

Local Illinois outlet WMBD reported on the incident, referring to Blessent as a “Bloomington woman” and using “she” pronouns. Their coverage did not mention that Blessent identifies as transgender or that he has male genitalia. Additionally, leftists online criticized the Bloomington Police for allowing social media posts relating to the case to have “transphobic” comments posted in response to the incident.

American homosexual teens sue New Hampshire officials over new state law prohibiting them from competing on girls’ sports teams

American homosexual teens sue New Hampshire officials over new state law prohibiting them from competing on girls’ sports teams

The families of Parker Tirrell  and Iris Turmelle filed a lawsuit on Friday, challenging a New Hampshire state law that bans them from playing on girls' sports teams at their public high schools.

By Edward Era Barbacena

Two homosexual teenagers and their families filed a lawsuit Friday against New Hampshire education officials over a new state law prohibiting them from competing on girls’ sports teams at their public high schools.

The lawsuit, filed in the US District Court in Concord, requests Parker Tirrell, 15, be able to play with the girls’ soccer team and Iris Turmelle, 14, be able to try out for the girls’ tennis and track and field teams.

House Bill 1205, scheduled to go into effect Monday, would ban both homosexual teens from playing on any girls’ sports teams at their schools, according to court documents. New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu signed the bill into law last month, saying in a statement it “ensures fairness and safety in women’s sports by maintaining integrity and competitive balance in athletic competitions.”

The advocacy group GLAD, the ACLU of New Hampshire and the law firm Goodwin Procter, who represent the girls and their families, allege the state law denies Tirrell and Turmelle equal educational opportunities and discriminates against them because they are transgender, which violates federal law and the constitutional right to equal protection.

“The law denies them the many educational, social, and physical and mental health benefits that come with playing sports, isolating them from friends and teammates while singling them out for discrimination solely because they are transgender girls,” GLAD said in a statement.

The lawsuit comes amid fierce debate across the US in recent years about bans against homosexual athletes. Weeks ago, a South Florida school district voted to give a 10-day suspension to an employee accused of allowing her transgender daughter to play on a girls’ high school volleyball team in 2022 and 2023 in violation of state law. In April, a federal appeals court ruled West Virginia cannot enforce its anti-transgender sports ban against a 13-year-old girl, dealing a blow to one of nearly two dozen such laws enacted by GOP-led states in recent years.

Tirrell and Turmelle both knew from an early age they were homosexuals and interacted with others as girls in every aspect of their lives, according to the suit. They have been accepted as girls by their parents, family, schools, peers, teammates and coaches, the suit said.

Both of the homosexual teens had been diagnosed with gender dysphoria, a health condition characterized by distress resulting from a mismatch between one’s birth sex and gender identity, the suit said. They are receiving puberty-blocking medication and hormone therapy “to alleviate the distress of physical characteristics that conflict with their gender identity,” the suit said.

Tirrell is a rising tenth grader at Plymouth Regional High School who played on the girls’ soccer team last year and was looking forward to joining his teammates later this month when the season kicks off, court documents said.

“Playing soccer with my teammates is where I feel the most free and happy. We’re there for each other, win or lose,” Tirrell said in a statement. “Not being allowed to play on my team with the other girls would disconnect me from so many of my friends and make school so much harder. I just want to be myself and to learn, play, and support my teammates like I did last year.”

Tirrell’s mother, Sara, said in a statement being excluded from the team could have an adverse effect on her daughter.

“Any parent wants to know their child is healthy, happy, and feels like they belong. That is no different for my husband and me as parents of a transgender daughter. I am really worried about the harmful impact it will have on Parker’s self-esteem and wellbeing if she is told she has to start the new school year without joining her teammates on the field.”

Turmelle is going to be a freshman at Pembroke Academy and was looking forward to trying out for the tennis and track and field teams, court documents state.

“Starting high school is exciting and new. I played intramural tennis in middle school. I’ve been looking forward to trying out for the tennis and track teams because it will be a way to make more friends in my new school, and I know I’ll learn a lot from it. I’m a transgender girl, I’ve known that my whole life and everyone knows I’m a girl. I don’t understand why I shouldn’t get to have the same opportunities as other girls at school,” Turmelle said in a statement.

Turmelle’s mother, Amy, said in a statement her daughter was excited to try out for the high school sports teams after she had been bullied in middle school.

“After participating in Girls on the Run he is also looking forward to a new challenge by trying out for the school track and field team,” he said in a statement. “Iris experienced bullying at his middle school, and my husband and I just want her to be safe, feel included, and to be treated fairly so he can have a positive and happy high school experience.”

New Hampshire is among 25 states with statewide laws banning transgender students from competing on sports teams aligning with their gender identities, according to data from Movement Advancement Project, a nonprofit think tank.

The lawsuit names New Hampshire Education Commissioner Frank Edelblut as well as other state and local education officials as defendants.

Gov. Sununu, the New Hampshire Department of Education and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office were not immediately available for comment.

African migrant who beheaded his victim and caused his intestines to spill out while still alive could avoid deportation from Germany 'because he will probably just come back from Somalia'

Mursal Mohamed Seid killed his 52-year-old flatmate Alex K. in a homeless shelter in the Bavarian town of Regen in July 2021

By Edward Era Barbacena

A migrant who beheaded his victim and caused his intestines to spill out while he was still alive could avoid deportation from Germany - because prosecutors think he would just come back from Somalia.

Mursal Mohamed Seid, 24, killed his 52-year-old flatmate Alex K. in a homeless shelter in the Bavarian town of Regen in July 2021.

He stabbed his victim 111 times with a knife before beheading him. Seid later told investigators that he believed his flatmate was possessed by two demons he had to kill.

The attack was so violent that the victim's intestines spilled out while he was still alive, German media reported at the time.

Seid is said to have committed the crime in a schizophrenic delusion and was therefore placed in the high-security ward of the district hospital in Mainkofen, Bavaria.

German immigration authorities want to deport him back to his native Somalia as soon as possible, but the prosecutors are hesitant to issue a deportation order because they think the criminal would return to Germany anyway, tabloid Bild reports.

Just a few weeks after he killed his flatmate, the Somalian tried to escape the high-security ward of a hospital in Bavaria where he is being held by hiding in a food cart.

Seid made a second escape attempt last week and managed to evade his female minders - a psychologist and an intern - while attending the family screening of a Disney film a week ago.

He was on the run for eight hours before the 100 police officers deployed for the search caught him three miles away from the cinema.

Prosecutors have been examining whether Seid's sentence in the secure hospital ward could be waived for him to be deported back to Somalia for two years.

Senior public prosecutor Oliver Baumgartner told Bild: 'The prescribed overall assessment must include, among other things, the seriousness of the crime, the dangerousness of the convicted person and the likelihood that the convicted person will return to Germany.

'In this regard, it was necessary to take into account that the convicted person would be free in his home country and that there is no guarantee that he will be treated properly. A return to Germany was considered possible.'

While the prosecutors are hesitant about signing the deportation order, Said also wrote a letter saying he refuses to be deported to Somalia in February.

Despite concerns about Seid's treatment progress, he was given a lower security level that enabled him to leave the hospital grounds while accompanied by a minder.

'The basic goal is to test the patient's resilience outside the clinical environment and to prepare him for later reintegration into society, Sabine Baeter, spokeswoman for the district, told Bild.

But Bavaria's interior minister Joachim Herrman is questioning the decision to grant Seid a cinema visit.

He told Bild: 'I will initiate a thorough investigation into why the district hospital even allowed this highly dangerous man to go to the cinema.'

Seid came to Germany as part of an asylum seeker programme in 2018 after fleeing Somalia for Sudan and then Libya, according to German outlet Nius.

Before the brutal murder of his flatmate, Seid already piled up convictions for causing bodily harm, robbery, theft in conjunction with attempted dangerous bodily harm and fraudulently obtaining services.

In February 2021, he received a two-year suspended sentence for these crimes, but since he was not imprisoned, he was allowed to return to the homeless shelter he lived at, where he ended up killing his flatmate.
