Matthew Zakrzewski, 34, was charged with 34 felony counts, 27 of which were lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under the age of 14

A male nanny in California has been sentenced to 707 years and eight months in prison for sexually assaulting 16 boys while on the job and showing a 17th boy child pornography with the intent of sexually assaulting him. His victims ranged in age from two to 12 years old. The Office of the District Attorney for Orange County said many of the assaults were filmed.

Matthew Zakrzewski, 34, was charged with 34 felony counts, 27 of which were lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under the age of 14. The remaining seven included two felony counts of oral copulation of a child under the age of 10, one felony count of possession of child pornography, one felony count of using a minor for sex acts, two felony counts of distributing pornography to a minor for the purpose of engaging in sexual conduct, and one felony count of attempted lewd or lascivious act with a minor under the age of 14.

Detectives with the Laguna Beach Police Department first detained Zakrzewski on May 17, 2019, in a local airport as he deplaned an international flight following an investigation launched after allegations from local parents that he had touched their son inappropriately.

In a press release, the office of Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer explained that Zakrzewski had originally been charged with a fraction of the aforementioned offenses, however as the investigation progressed, more and more victims were discovered, and more counts were added.

Zakrzewski advertised his services on a number of websites, one of which was called "Sitter Buddy." In his profile, he described himself as "a fun-loving energetic person that will engage your child as well as care for them."

"In the 8th grade I discovered what a joy it was to work with children and be a positive impact in their lives through my school's 'Buddy Program'," he wrote. "Now, I am a full-service TrustLine Certified provider of regular & on-demand child care, as well as mentoring services for children.

"I think the reason I connect easily with kids," he added, "is because I am not just there to supervise, I participate!"

A jury found him guilty on all 34 counts.

Craig Sumner Elliott, 68,filmed himself killing  Antonio Garcia Avalos, 40, who blocked the pavement where he was jogging

By Edward Era Barbacena

A California jogger allegedly filmed himself killing a homeless man who was blocking the sidewalk, according to prosecutors announcing charges against him.

Craig Sumner Elliott, 68, was jogging with his two dogs and pushing a cart on 28 September when he came across Antonio Garcia Avalos, 40, who was sleeping in the middle of the sidewalk, prosecutors in Orange county, California, said.

Elliott allegedly tried to wake Avalos by nudging him with the pushcart, whereupon Avalos started yelling at Elliott to leave him alone.

Elliott, who allegedly filmed their encounter, then brought a handgun out of his cart, prosecutors charged, adding that when Avalos stood and threw a shoe at Elliott, he ducked and responded by shooting Avalos three times.

Avalos subsequently died from his injuries. Elliott, who does have an active concealed carry permit issued by the local sheriff’s office, was arrested on 17 November in the incident.

He faces charges of voluntary manslaughter, and a felony personal firearm use enhancement, for the fatal shooting, prosecutors announced on Monday.

“This is a tragic set of circumstances that unfolded in the worst possible way over a minor inconvenience of a blocked sidewalk, and a man is dead as a result,” the Orange county district attorney, Todd Spitzer, said in a news release.

“This case is a stark reminder that taking the law into your own hands is never the answer and that there are consequences for your actions.”

Elliott was released on $100,000 bail. If found guilty on all counts he faces up to 21 years in prison.

Tecumseh, Michigan: The husband of a Michigan woman who had been missing for the past two years was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 21, and charged in connection with her death, authorities said. WTVG reported that Dale pleaded not guilty to both charges. His bond has been set at $20 million and an arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 27, police said in a release.

Dale’s defense attorney, Mary Chartier, told The Detroit News that her client is innocent.

“We believe that a fair and objective review of the evidence — or more precisely the lack of evidence in this case — will show that Mr. Warner did not abuse his wife,” she said in a statement obtained by the outlet. “On behalf of Mr. Warner we intend to vigorously fight these allegations,” the statement added.

Liam Tucker has been jailed for seven years after breaching a sexual harm order

By Edward Era Barbacena

A sex offender who sent explicit messages to a teen and slept at a 13-year-old boy's home, has been jailed.

Luke Tucker, 23, of Eight Acre Lane in Colchester, Essex, had been convicted of a sexual assault in October 2022 and was handed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) the following February.

He breached the order and on Wednesday was sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court to seven years behind bars.

PC Graeme Braby said he was a "very real danger to young people".

The terms of his SHPO significantly limited his contact with anyone under the age of 18 and affected his access to the internet and his ability to store still or moving images.

He also had to notify police if he was going to stay at any household address where someone under the age of 18 lived and tell police if he had used any aliases.

Despite this, Tucker sent gifts to a 13-year-old, stayed at the teenager's home and also allowed him stay at his home.

Police searched Tucker's home on 25 March and discovered several memory cards, USB sticks and hard drives which breeched the terms of his order

Officers also found several social media apps on his phone.

During the investigation, officers discovered that Tucker had been sending messages to a 15-year-old boy, trying to solicit sexual activity, since October 2022.

He was charged with a range of offences and convicted of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, breaching a sexual harm prevention order and failure to comply with the notification requirements of the Sex Offender Register.

PC Graeme Braby, who led the investigation, said: "Luke Tucker poses a very real danger to young people.

"The fact he defied the significant constraints on his contact with children, access to the internet, and access to storage devices highlights the lengths he was prepared to go to."

A dirty old American paedophile of Ohio gets life in prison for raping children attending home day care

Bill Lupica,72, who raped and filmed children changing into swimsuits at his at-home day care will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

By Edward Era Barbacena

A dirty old white American paedophile who raped and filmed children changing into swimsuits at his at-home daycare will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

A Summit County Court of Common Pleas judge sentenced Bill Lupica, 72, to life in prison.

Lupica sat stone-cold-faced in court Tuesday. He never looked at the gallery full of tearful and angry parents.

One after another, the parents shared their disgust for the man they once considered family.

“We got to know you, or at least we thought we did... We don’t know you other than the fact that you’re a monster, a devil," said one parent.

Macedonia police arrested Lupica back in May 2022.

Lupica was later indicted on a slew of charges relating to abusing children under 5 years old at his home daycare.

He was expected to take a plea deal this past September, but prosecutors say he backed out and they were planning to move forward with a trial.

A week later, in October, Lupica then pleaded guilty to multiple counts, including rape and gross sexual imposition, as well as numerous counts related to having images of children involved in various sex acts — images authorities say he shot himself.

“He collected it like a library," said Summit County Assistant Prosecutor John Baumoel.

Baumoel said Lupica also used a hidden camera to film young girls changing into swimsuits before they used the pool at his home.

“The kids and these teenagers to dress and undress and get into their swimming suit — the defendant knowing this and having these kids change in his master bedroom," Baumoel said.

Some of the children appeared in court at the sentencing. The prosecutor's office brought in their emotional support dog, Adam, to sit with them.

“My daughter is terrified to go in the bathroom alone; the door always has to stay open," one parent said.

Parents shook their heads, and the disbelief was audible when Lupica apologized in court.

“I don’t know how I got here," Lupica said.

“I’m truly sorry," he added.

Lupica will be eligible for parole after serving 30 years behind bars, at which point he will be 102 years old.

“I hope you suffer a slow, torturous death," one mother said.

Hispanic homeless man of California who dreamed to be an actor killed by an American cop in LA

Jesse Dominguez ,33, who dreamed of being an actor, died Sunday after an encounter with an officer on a highway in Watts

By Edward Era Barbacena

Jesse Dominguez had the same aspirations many in Los Angeles do: to be an actor.

And he shared the same struggles too: substance use issues, a serious mental health disorder and homelessness.

On Sunday afternoon, while in what his family said must have been a mental health episode or drug-fueled crisis, Dominguez was shot and killed by a California Highway Patrol officer following a struggle on the 105 Freeway in Watts near the sober living facility where he lived.

CHP officials said that during the altercation, Dominguez “was able to access a Taser” and used it against the officer.

“In fear for his safety, the officer fired his service weapon, striking the pedestrian,” the CHP said in a statement.

His family, however, sees the incident differently.

“I’ve pretty much ‘backed the blue’ in a lot of circumstances,” Akasha Dominguez, the man’s stepmother, said referring to a slogan about supporting police. “There have been issues where [police] used excessive force. But I’ve never been on the other end. Now I have a completely different stance. This is absolutely police brutality.”

His family said that Dominguez did carry a Taser for protection after being threatened by others living at the facility where he was staying.

Akasha Dominguez and other family members were in shock Tuesday after learning that Dominguez had been killed. Graphic video appeared to show the encounter leading up to the shooting, during which Dominguez and a CHP officer wrestle on the pavement of the closed freeway before the officer stands and repeatedly shoots Dominguez.

The end of his life was unfathomable to Dominguez’s family members, who knew the 33-year-old as a troubled man who was a “softie” and wanted more than anything to be an actor, though he never got any roles.

Dominguez struggled with bipolar disorder as well as substance use disorder, according to his father, Jesse Dominguez. He wanted to be an actor or a singer, but bounced around from job to job, mostly waiting tables. While family had tried to help the younger Dominguez, who was homeless, and offered him places to live, he wanted to make it on his own, his father said.

His failure to make it as an actor depressed him, family said.

“We just feel terrible that L.A. just robbed him. The Hollywood scene sucked him in to wanting to be that persona. No matter how hard we tried to get him to do other jobs or seek formal education, that’s what he wanted to do. We weren’t going to crush his dreams,” Dominguez’s father said.

The 55-year-old former Marine told The Times that he could not bring himself to watch the bystander video that appears to show the last moments of his son’s life. But his wife and daughter have.

The family is grappling with the same questions that use-of-force experts say will become the focus of the investigation into the shooting by the officer, who has not been identified.

“I don’t know why the officer thought to engage. If someone is walking on the freeway, something is not right. They’re either in mental health crisis or something else is happening,” Akasha Dominguez said. “He was not trying to hurt anybody. Why did he have to use that type of force? After [the officer] had already discharged his firearm once, why did he stand up and then do it again and again and again?”

The questions Dominguez’s stepmother asked will likely be addressed in the California Department of Justice’s investigation into the deadly shooting.

The DOJ investigates police shootings in which an unarmed civilian is killed.

Law enforcement experts interviewed Monday by The Times were divided.

Travis Norton, a law enforcement officer who runs the California Assn. of Tactical Officers After Action Review, said video is a limited way to understand a police shooting.

“It is hard to diagnose without knowing what the officer saw, experienced and interpreted was happening,” Norton said. “All I see is a very short scuffle. I see the suspect point something that appears to look like some sort of weapon. ... From the video, without knowing anything else about it, the use of deadly force appears appropriate.”

But other experts said the use of force raises many questions.

Ed Obayashi, a police shootings expert who investigates the incidents for numerous law enforcement agencies in California, said investigators will immediately ask the officer why he was engaging with the person without a partner or backup in the immediate vicinity.

“Why did you shoot him while he was on the ground?” Obayashi said investigators will ask. “You separated yourself from the individual; why was he still a threat to you?”

Akasha Dominguez said she didn’t understand why the officer engaged without backup and why he resorted to deadly force so quickly — even if her stepson had a Taser.

“I don’t know when using deadly force became the first thing cops do in this situation,” said Michele Dominguez, the man’s sister.

Family members said they were reaching out to civil rights attorneys and waiting for the results of the investigation, which could take months or even years.

For now, Dominguez’s father said he would not watch the video, but acknowledged he is only delaying the inevitable.

“I’m going to have to watch the video. I know at some point I do have to see it. But I’m just so raw right now,” he said. “The last time that I saw him, he was smiling. He was happy. And the last thing that I want to see is to have my last memory of him be him going through what he did in that video.”

'Dangerous' homosexual paedophile jailed after broadcasting rapes on social media

'Dangerous' homosexual paedophile jailed after broadcasting rapes on social media

LGBT member Aiden Foster has been jailed for repeatedly raping a boy , sexually abusing another boy, videoing the acts and then broadcasting them on the internet

By Edward Era Barbacena

Aiden Foster was only caught after one of his videos was spotted by American law enforcement on the dark web. The National Crime Agency then used facial recognition to track him down to his Wednesbury home in May.

Foster broke down in tears as Judge Recorder Amy Jacobs sentenced him to 11 years and seven months at Wolverhampton Crown Court today (Wednesday).

She said: "You have caused untold trauma to your victims. I agree with the pre-sentence report which states you are dangerous, predatory and have a high sexual deviancy.

"These offences had been taking place over a period of months. The videos you made found their way onto the dark web, though you did not put them there, you had been sharing them on Telegram."

Sickening details of Foster's crimes were read out in court, with 24 charges in all. Foster's habit of filming himself raping and abusing children led to him pleading guilty after he was shown footage obtained by the NCA.

Foster, from Bassett Road, had been sharing his videos on the social media streaming app Telegram and other group members had shared them on the dark web.

The boy who he repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted was too traumatised to discuss the abuse with investigating officers. He did, however, point to "angry" "sad" and "silly" emoji cards.

After NCA officers confronted Foster with videos he pleaded guilty to three counts of rape of a child under 13, seven counts of sexual activity with a child under one, five counts of causing / inciting a child to engage in sexual activity with a child under 13, seven counts of taking indecent images of a child, one count of making indecent images of a child and distributing indecent images of a child.

The National Crime Agency worked with US law enforcement agencies and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which led to Foster being identified.

Recorder Amy Jacobs explained Foster would have to serve the sentences relating to the 10-year-old boy concurrently but it would be consecutive to the charge of abusing the five-year-old.

Recorder Jacobs sentenced him in total to 11 years and seven months, and also gave him an extended licence of four years for when he left prison.

Experts in the NCA’s victim identification team used facial comparison tools to confirm his identity.

His electronic devices were seized and NCA crime scene analysis investigators matched items at his address to those shown in the videos - including his jewellery, a distinctively patterned blanket and boxing trophies.

Officers recovered 771 indecent images of children across categories A-C (A being the most severe) from four of his devices.

They also found an Instagram chat in which Foster requested ‘horny pics of a 14-year-old’ from an unknown person and boasted that he could send videos of someone carrying out a sex act on him.

NCA operations manager Holly Triggs said: “Aiden Foster is a dangerous offender who conducted the most horrific abuse against children.

“Chat logs showed he revelled in the ability to share material online – an act that will no doubt have contributed to the normalisation of such abuse among other paedophiles.

“The NCA is dedicated to combatting this global threat, working tirelessly to protect children and ensure that high harm offenders like Foster are put behind bars.”
