London -  UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson got inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine from AstraZenica on Friday and implore to the people to do exact same thing, saying  " he did not feel a thing."

The 56 year old Prime Minister received his first dose of the vaccine on the same hospital where he was admitted and treated after contracting the coronavirus about almost a year ago.

" I literally did not feel a thing. It was very good and very quick," Johnson said after getting the vaccine at the Saint Thomas' hospital in London.

" I can not recommend it too highly, everybody when you do get your notification to go for a jab, please go and get it, it is the best thing for you, best thing for your family and for everyone else."

Several photographs showed Johnson wearing a mask, a shirt and a tie with sleeves rolled up while a nurse administering the vaccine intramuscularly on his deltoid of upper extremity.

On friday, United Kingdom broke its own record for the most covid-19 inoculation given in a day and almost half of the adults of the entire British population  have obtained the first dose, making the Great Britain as one of the fastest countries in the world to roll out a covid-19 vaccine program.
