Moscow -The Russian vaccine against the coronavirus Sputnik V ranked second in the world among all approved anti-COVID drugs, according to its official Twitter account.

"Sputnik V is now the second most popular anticovid vaccine in the world in terms of regulatory approvals. Thank you for this vote of confidence!" Reads the message on the account, indicating that the Russian vaccine has been licensed in 45 countries.

According to the list published by the developers of Sputnik V, the most popular vaccine is currently AstraZeneca, approved in 49 countries, and third place is held by Pfizer, with 43 approvals.
