Kyle Rittenhouse's mom accused Biden of defaming her son and calling him a white supremacist

During an appearance on Sean Hanity’s Fox News show this Thursday, Kyle Rittenhouse‘s mother said that when President Biden suggested her son was a “white supremacist” in a tweet last year, he was falsely accusing her son of being something that he isn’t.
Wendy Rittenhouse is referring to a video tweeted out by Biden on Sept. 30, 2020, which showed the violence in Kenosha, Wisconsin in the wake of the police shooting of Jacob Blake. Kyle Rittenhouse can be seen at one point in the video carrying the AR-15 rifled he used to kill two people and wound one during the unrest.
“There’s no other way to put it: the President of the United States refused to disavow white supremacists on the debate stage last night,” read Biden’s tweet, which was referring to then-President Donald Trump.

Wendy Rittenhouse told Hannity that she was “shocked” when she saw Biden’s tweet.
“I was angry,” she told Hannity. “President Biden don’t know my son whatsoever, and he’s not a white supremacist.”
He’s not a racist. And [Biden] did that for the votes,” she continued. “And I was so angry for a while at him and what he did to my son — he defamed him.”
