Waste Management Suspends Employee Who Plowed Snow onto Jews Got Suspended

According to many, suspension is not enough, the culprit should be fired

By Edward Era Barbacena

A video surfaced on social media that can be seen a driver of waste management truck speed up and snow plowed a two jewish men who was walking along the road.  The white man was identified as Donny Klarmann.

Klarman can be heard laughing after he plowed snow onto the Jewish by speeding up the truck that almost buried them.

In a statement given to YWN, the company that employs Donny Klarmann – the WHITE man who is alleged to have targeted 2 frum Jews, plowing snow into them on Shabbos – says that it has suspended him while they conduct an investigation into the incident.

“We are aware of an incident that was posted by an off-duty WM employee to his personal social media account,” a Waste Management release says.

“The hateful conduct depicted in this video is unacceptable and does not reflect the values of inclusion and diversity we hold as a company. The employee is suspended while we investigate the incident, but we can confirm that this behavior will not be tolerated from any WM employee and we will not employ those who act in this way.”

Many who have seen the video were disgusted and according to many, suspension of Klarmann was not enough - he should be terminated because the action was an obvious hate crime which was unprovoked.

Klarmann has denied that he was in any way involved in the incident, claiming that he simply shared the video on his Facebook account.

Allison Fluke-Ekren, 42, led all-female ISIS battalion, prosecutors say

An American WHITE woman accused of joining ISIS, spending years leading and training an all-female unit in Syria, and wanting to carry out deadly attacks at a college campus and shopping mall in the U.S., is due to make her first court appearance in Virginia on Monday.

Allison Fluke-Ekren, 42, has been charged with providing material support to a terrorist organization, the U.S. attorney announced Saturday. She is scheduled to appear at U.S. District Court in Alexandria, Virginia, on Monday at 2 p.m. ET.

Fluke-Ekren, a former resident of Kansas, wanted to recruit operatives to attack a college campus in the U.S. and detailed how she would carry out a terrorist bombing on a shopping mall, prosecutors said.

She allegedly described how she could park a vehicle "full of explosives" in the basement or parking garage of the targeted mall and detonate the vehicle with a cellphone device.

She told one witness that "she considered any attack that did not kill a large number of individuals to be a waste of resources," according to an FBI affidavit.

Fluke-Ekren allegedly became leader of an ISIS unit called "Khatiba Nusaybah" in the Syrian city of Raqqa in late 2016.

authorities. (Alexandria Sheriff's Office)

She trained the battalion, which was comprised solely of female ISIS members who were married to male ISIS fighters, in the use of AK-47 rifles, grenades and suicide belts, according to the affidavit.

Her alleged leadership duties also included training children on the use of AK-47 assault rifles and suicide belts, and teaching extremist ISIS doctrine.

McLaughlin, the principal at Dawson Elementary School, was charged with Transmission of Harmful Material to a Minor, Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device, and Use of Computer Services or Devices to Solicit Certain Illegal Acts.

By Edward Era Barbacena

On Thursday, the principal of a Hillsborough County elementary school in Florida who is a white man was arrested for allegedly sending sexually explicit text messages to an undercover officer who was posing as a 15-year-old boy during the exchange.

On Jan. 27, 41-year-old Derrick McLaughlin was arrested by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. According to WEAR-TV, McLaughlin is the principal at Dawson Elementary School in Riverview, Florida.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office charged McLaughlin with Transmission of Harmful Material to a Minor, Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device, and Use of Computer Services or Devices to Solicit Certain Illegal Acts.

He has been placed under a Baker Act after making suicidal comments at the time of his arrest.

From Jan. 19 to Jan. 27, 2020, undercover detectives portrayed themselves as a 15-year-old boy during a chat operation to identify individuals attempting to exploit children, according to the sheriff's office.

McLaughlin initiated a message conversation with the undercover detectives through a social media app, and "attempted to entice the undercover detectives he believed was a teenager to engage in sexual acts."

"It's sickening that a trusted member of our community, a school principal, would take advantage of a child for his own self-gratification," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Thankfully, it was not a child, but one of our detectives, who was on the receiving end of his obscene messages. No child should be subjected to the disturbing behavior put on display by McLaughlin."

While the investigation remains ongoing, the sheriff's office said they do not believe there are any additional victims at this time.

Omicron subvariant BA.2 more infectious than "original", Danish study finds

Omicron subvariant BA.2 more infectious than "original", Danish study finds

By Edward Era Barbacena

The BA.2 subvariant of the Omicron coronavirus variant, which has quickly taken over in Denmark, is more transmissible than the more common BA.1 and more able to infect vaccinated people, a Danish study has found.

The study, which analysed coronavirus infections in more than 8,500 Danish households between December and January, found that people infected with the BA.2 subvariant were roughly 33% more likely to infect others, compared to those infected with BA.1.

Worldwide, the "original" BA.1 subvariant accounts for more than 98% of Omicron cases, but its close cousin BA.2 has quickly become the dominant strain in Denmark, dethroning BA.1 in the second week of January.

"We conclude that Omicron BA.2 is inherently substantially more transmissible than BA.1, and that it also possesses immune-evasive properties that further reduce the protective effect of vaccination against infection," the study's researchers said.

The study, which has not yet been peer-reviewed, was conducted by researchers at Statens Serum Institut (SSI), Copenhagen University, Statistics Denmark and Technical University of Denmark.

"If you have been exposed to Omicron BA.2 in your household, you have 39% probability of being infected within seven days. If you instead had been exposed to BA.1, the probability is 29%," lead study author Frederik Plesner told Reuters.

That suggests BA.2 is around 33% more infectious than BA.1, he added.

BA.2 cases have also been registered in the United States, Britain, Sweden and Norway, but to a much lesser extent than in Denmark, where it accounts for roughly 82% of cases.

The study also showed that BA.2 was relatively better than BA.1 at infecting vaccinated and booster-vaccinated people, indicating greater "immune evasive properties" of the subvariant

But vaccines still played an important role, the study underlined, since both booster-vaccinated and fully vaccinated individuals were less like to get infected and transmit either subvariants, compared to those not vaccinated.

Preliminary analysis by SSI has shown that there is no difference in the risk of hospitalisation for BA.2 compared to BA.1.

The study also confirms preliminary analysis from England, which showed BA.2 appears to have a substantial growth advantage over the BA.1 type, according to Britain's UK Health Security Agency

LESBIAN COUPLE FOUND MURDERED, DISMEMBERED ALONG THE ROAD. TWO SUSPECTS HAVE BEEN ARRESTED, BUT WAS IT A HATE CRIME?

LESBIAN COUPLE FOUND MURDERED, DISMEMBERED ALONG THE ROAD. TWO SUSPECTS HAVE BEEN ARRESTED, BUT WAS IT A HATE CRIME?

By Edward Era Barbacena

Nohemi Medina Martinez and Julissa Ramirez, both 28, were found along a road just south of Juarez, Mexico. Both women had been shot, then dismembered and disposed of like garbage.

The couple was raising three children, all belonging to Martinez. They had been traveling together and were on their way home from visiting family in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, according to El Diario de El Paso.

Their bodies were found in pieces in plastic bags strewn about the Juarez-Povenir highway, 17 miles apart from each other.

The killers left the remains of the two women in plain sight near the town of Sauzal, a southern enclave of Juarez and Martinez’s hometown. Authorities in the state of Chihuahua began a search immediately, as the gruesome crime sparked outrage from activists in the community, who believe the women were targeted because they were lesbians.

Original reports indicated both women were from El Paso, Texas, but both had grown up in Mexico and were living south of the U.S. border at the time of the murders, according to KTSM El Paso.

On Jan. 24, the Chihuahua Special Crime Investigation Unit arrested two people who were hiding in a house in San Isidro, located about 20 minutes south of Juarez. The suspects are only identified as Jaqueline Isela C.R. and David R. Mexican laws do not allow the release of full names of suspects, according to CBS Austin.

The Chihuahuan authorities announced they believe the murders are not a hate crime, noting that most murders of this kind are drug-related, according to Border Report.

A DANGEROUS PLACE

Juarez is one of the most violent places in the world to live if you are a woman. In 2021, 172 women were murdered there. In the past three years, more than 500 have been murdered.

Juarez has one of the highest overall murder rates of any city in the world, with more than 104 murders per 100,000 inhabitants in 2019. In 2020, the rate climbed to 109 murders per 100,000, according to Border Report. Juarez ended 2021 with slightly fewer murders than most years, at 1420.

About 90 percent of murders are drug-related, but a parallel epidemic of violence against women and LGBTQ individuals has been unfolding in Mexico and Juarez for decades.

Chihuahuan authorities are not open to the reality of violence against the LGBTQ community, said activist Miguel Angel Jacome last week, following the deaths of Martinez and Ramirez.

“The authorities are blind towards what is happening. In addition to the widespread violence from drug trafficking, there’s also violence against LGBT people for being LGBT,” he told Border Report.

In Juarez, LGBTQ and women’s rights protestors united to march last week to bring attention to the human rights crisis. Activists, community leaders and journalists have been trying to change the situation of chronic and unrelenting violence against women and LGBTQ individuals for decades.

“There’s obviously a situation of hate towards women and that is something that for all the women here in Juarez worries us,” commented Eliana Treviño, who participated in a recent march, according to Border report.

A woman is murdered about every two days in Juarez, according to activists from FEM and El Diario de El Paso.

The 2006 film “Bordertown” starred Jennifer Lopez and Antonio Banderas as investigative reporters searching for the real story about missing and murdered girls and women in Juarez, which lies just across the border from El Paso.

The film raised awareness about the scope of the problem which, according to The Los Angeles Times, has become “an international embarrassment” for Mexican law enforcement, who are often portrayed as corrupt, inept or indifferent.

In 1993, 400 women or girls had already been reported missing or murdered in this city of 1 million people. Today, Juarez is home to 1.5 million. The city grew rapidly between 1990 and 2000 due to the presence of huge factories call maquiladores, which drew families from all rural areas of Mexico for work.

It is believed multiple men are killing women, although many theorize a prolific serial killer stalked the city from 1993 to 2005. During that time, 370 women or girls were murdered or went missing. The Mexican government made several arrests, but the killings did not stop.

The victims, often teenagers or young women on their way to or from their factory jobs, were found dumped in the desert outside of town.

Activists say the tolerance of the violence and lack of response from authorities helped create an environment where a serial killer could operate with impunity.

Chihuahua Attorney General Roberto Fierro asserted the murder of Martinez and Ramirez was definitely not a hate crime.

“In this case, the … investigation [is] linked to the economic activity that both victims were engaged in, and the persons with which they interacted in that environment,” the AG’s Office said in a statement to Border Report.

The women were found in a region called the Juarez Valley, which is bisected by the Juarez-Porvenir highway, leading south to Socorro and Ft. Hancock, Mexico and terminating in the small town of Porvenir.

Protestors continue to agitate, even as sexual assault, domestic violence, and murder create an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty for Juarez women. The LGBTQ community has banded together with women’s rights organizations to stop femicide while raising awareness and funds to help victims and their families.

Man charged with hate crime in attack on 3 Mainland high school students, release states

According to reports the hate crime incident was completely unprovoked

By Edward Era Barbacena

A Volusia County white man was charged with a hate crime after yelling racial slurs and using a pipe to smash a car occupied by three high school students in an unprovoked attack in the Osteen area, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

Richard Burnham, 58, who lives near DeLand, was arrested Wednesday and charged with criminal mischief causing damage of $1,000 or more, and three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.

The charges were enhanced to a hate crime due to Burnham’s use of a racial slur during the attack, according to the release and a charging affidavit.

Two of the three victims are Black, according to the charging affidavit. The students attend Mainland High School in Daytona Beach.

Deputies responded to the Circle K at 320 N. State Road 415 in Osteen shortly before 3 p.m. Saturday after the three students, who are 17 and 18 years old, reported the incident.

They told deputies they were getting gas when a man became hostile and aggressive toward them and hurled racial slurs at them, the release and charging affidavit stated.

They said the man then went into the gas station and when he came out, he grabbed a pipe from his truck, the release stated.

As the students sat inside the Toyota Camry, the man smashed the passenger side of the vehicle with the pipe, according to the release.

The man shattered the front passenger window and dented the passenger door panels before the students were able to drive away on State Road 415, the release stated.

The students provided a detailed description of the man, his pickup and the trailer it was pulling with two four-wheelers, according to the release.

West Volusia man identified

Using surveillance video and help from analysts at the Volusia County Crime Center, deputies identified Burnham, whose photo and vehicle matched the descriptions.

When interviewed by detectives on Wednesday, Burnham confirmed he was at the gas station and was involved in a verbal altercation with the young men, the release stated.

Burnham denied using a racial slur and said he only called them “losers,” according to the charging affidavit.

Burnham claimed the men had shot him with an airsoft gun and threatened to kill him, the release stated. Burnham said that prompted him to throw a metal pipe at the car, the release stated.

But deputies at the scene did not find an airsoft gun with the high school students, according to the release.

And Burnham did not contact law enforcement to report the incident, the release stated. Burnham also changed his story from being shot twice to being shot three or four times when confronted with discrepancies in his timeline, according to the release and charging affidavit.

Burnham was released from the Volusia County Branch Jail on Wednesday evening after posting a $40,000 bond.

A Washington State Patrol officer who defied a statewide vaccine mandate and signed off for the last time by telling Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee to “kiss my a–” is dead from COVID-19.

Former Trooper Robert LaMay, 51, who served 22 years with the State Patrol and retired last October, died on Friday.

LaMay garnered attention from Americans across the country after he signed off for the last time as an officer and told Washington Gov. Jay Inslee he “can kiss my a–” over forced vaccine mandates.

Following LaMay’s death, Washington State Patrol Chief John R. Batiste released a statement praising him for his service, which Batiste said “will be long remembered and appreciated.”

“I am deeply saddened over the news that our former friend and colleague Trooper Robert LaMay has passed away,” Batiste said. “This agency’s prayers and remembrances are with his family and loved ones. Rob served honorably for over two decades, and we were disappointed to see him leave the agency this past October. His service to this state and agency will be long remembered and appreciated.”

“This is the last time you’ll hear me in a patrol car and Jay Inslee can kiss my ass.”

Washington State Trooper in Yakima, Wash. signs off after 22 years — fired by @GovInslee for being unvaccinated.

“Let us now remember our old friend, support his family and loved ones, give thanks for his service, and resolve to meet the challenges ahead with continuing duty, dignity and respect,” Batiste added.

In his final sign-off last October, LaMay said he had worked sick and buried a lot of friends over the past 22 years of his service to the state.

NY nurses busted for forging vax cards in $1.5M scheme

Two Long Island healthcare white workers were busted for allegedly forging COVID-19 vaccination cards in a cash injection scheme that raked in over $1.5 million, according to officials and reports.

Julie DeVuono, a 49-year-old nurse practitioner, and Marissa Urraro, a 44-year old licensed practical nurse, are accused $220 for fake cards for adults and $85 for children, the Suffolk County Police Department said Friday.

“As nurses, these two individuals should understand the importance of legitimate vaccination cards as we all work together to protect public health,” Suffolk County Police Commissioner Rodney K. Harrison said.

The women allegedly ran the scam from November 2021 until this month, out of Wild Child Pediatric Healthcare in Amityville, which is owned and operated by DeVuono, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office told NBC 4.

The duo would then add the bogus information into the New York State Immunization Information System (“NYSIIS”) to falsely list the individuals as vaccinated.

At their arraignment on Friday, prosecutors also alleged that the pair forged vaccine cards for undercover NYPD officers, NBC 4 reported

Investigators uncovered $900,000 in cash at DeVuono’s home, prosecutors said. Financial records at DeVuono’s home allegedly showed the duo made off with more than $1.5 million profits.

Both DeVuono and Urraro were charged with forgery. DeVuono was additionally charged with a count of offering fraud.

Racist couple who harassed and abused family on train are fired from their jobs and arrested

Racist couple who harassed and abused family on train are fired from their jobs and arrested

Insecurity can really cost your job

By Edward Era Barbacena

A white savage man and woman from New York who were caught on video hurling racist insults at a decent  family who were riding a train with them have been arrested and charged with a hate crime. The horrendous incident was totally unprovoked

Justin Likerman and Kristin Degesaro turned themselves in on Wednesday and were charged with aggravated harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. As the Daily Beast points out, New York’s Metropolitan Transit Authority said the charges were brought in conjunction with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the Hate Crimes Unit.

NBC4 New York reports that Liz Edelkind said that on Jan. 10, she took the train with her husband, son, and two other adults to a Knicks basketball game at Madison Square Garden when Likerman and Digesaro began to verbally attack them due to Edelkind’s darker complexion and accent, saying her and the group were immigrants who didn’t belong in the U.S. “They threw beer at us. My pastor…her husband and my husband got in the way to protect me,” Edelkind told NBC 4.

A witness captured the incident on video, where Likerman can heard telling the group, “Look straight because I’m going to get arrested tonight,” before he threw some sort of liquid. “Don’t look at me, don’t f***ing look at me,” Likerman said repeatedly. “These f***ing foreigners ain’t taking over my country.” The couple left after someone alerted the train conductor.

Likerman and Digesaro were also recently fired from their jobs at Empire Toyota in Huntington as a result of the video.

"The two employees were suspended when we first heard about this incident,” a Facebook post from Empire Toyota read. “As our investigation just concluded, they have been terminated. The heart and soul of our labor force is extremely diverse and we value our employees beyond description. Further, our company’s deep support—financial and in-kind—of Long Island’s diverse communities is a matter of public record. We can say without hesitation that whatever occurred on that LIRR train is in no way reflective of our company, its ownership, its management team, nor its employees.”

A Nebraska WHITE fat  man accused of killing two people at a fast-food restaurant in 2020 and leaving two others injured could face the death penalty if convicted, the county attorney’s office said this week.

Sarpy County Attorney Lee Polikov announced Monday his office would seek the death penalty for Roberto Silva Jr., 24, who faces first-degree murder charges in the Nov. 21, 2020, shooting outside a Sonic restaurant in Bellevue, Nebraska, WOWT-TV in Omaha reported.

Employees Nathan Pastrana, 22, and Ryan Helbert, 28, were killed. Two others were injured.

It was the first time Polikov has sought the death penalty after 30 years in elected office.

“I based my decision on the initial investigation as well as new information we received after the case was initially filed, which fit the aggravating circumstances necessary to seek the death penalty,” Polikov said in a news conference, according to WOWT. “I will tell you that there are nine circumstances outlined by statutes that are aggravating circumstances and the evidence we have, we haven’t presented in court so I don’t want to get into the details of why we think that a number of those nine aggravators are applicable to this case.”

Silva faces more than a dozen charges, including two counts of first-degree murder and five counts of attempted first-degree murder. Three employees escaped unharmed.

Since his arrest, Silva has been accused of attacking another inmate and throwing cups of feces and urine at guards, according to WOWT.

San Francisco city officials vow to crack down on anti-Asian-American hate crime

San Francisco city officials vow to crack down on anti-Asian-American hate crime

By Edward Era Barbacena

The coronavirus pandemic has brought out the worst among people since it has emerged from Wuhan, China 2 years ago. In the Unites States, Asian-Americans became the subject of displacements of nonsensical hatred.  They were often targeted and blamed for the pandemic.  The worsening Pandemic gives way to the rise of the so-called Asian-hate crimes all through out the United States.

San Francisco’s police chief, William Scott, told a news conference that he had already ordered increased officer presence and patrols in Chinatown despite staffing shortages he blamed on the COVID-19 pandemic.

“If anybody thinks San Francisco is an easy place to come in and terrorize our Asian communities, you are sadly mistaken. And you will be held accountable. You will be arrested and you will be charged,” Scott said.

Scott and Mayor London Breed sought to reassure residents of the city’s large Asian-American community ahead of the Chinese Lunar New Year, which begins on Feb. 1 and will be celebrated in San Francisco with a parade on Feb. 19.

“This is an extraordinary community and I am heartbroken, I’m frustrated, I’m embarrassed, I’m angry about the violence that has continued to impact many of the people who are part of our Asian community but especially our seniors,” Breed said.

Scott said that more than 30 of the hate crimes had been linked to a single individual who was arrested last August.

The police chief did not name that suspect but appeared to be referring to Derik Barreto, 36, who was charged on Aug. 16 with smashing the windows of more than two dozen Chinese-owned businesses as he rode through the city on a scooter.

San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin faces a recall election in June, targeted by activists who accuse him of being soft on crime.

United Kingdom broke the world record for the largest vegan burger that weighs 162 kilograms

United Kingdom broke the world record for the largest vegan burger that  weighs 162 kilograms

By Edward Era Barbacena

As meat-free alternatives become more and more popular, one company decided to make the world’s largest vegan burger.

Finnebrogue Artisan, a U.K. meat producer in Northern Ireland, broke the world record for the largest vegan burger in November, according to a recent press release from Guinness World Records.

Finnebrogue Artisan, which also sells vegan and vegetarian products, used its “Naked Evolution Burger” recipe for its world record. According to the press release, the world’s largest burger is the equivalent of 1,274 regular-sized “Naked Evolution Burgers.”

According to Guinness, all the ingredients of the 358.3-pound burger were verified as vegan.

The toppings on the burger included 22 pounds of tomatoes, 10 pounds of lettuce, 15.4 pounds of cheese, 4.4 pounds of tobacco onions, 11 pounds of pickles, 11 pounds of vegan bacon slices and 11 pounds of “Naked Burger” sauce.

According to the press release, it took Finnebrogue Artisan almost 9 hours to cook the burger patty. The vegan bun was provided by a local bakery.

“We were set a target weight of 220 pounds, but we knew from the outset we wanted to exceed that,” Sean Kearney, Finnebrogue Artisan’s innovation process manager, said in a statement.

“The team included representatives from NPD, marketing, and engineering; and together we designed and built everything, including a swing to aid [in] turning the patty during cooking. That was perhaps the most challenging part of the record as we didn’t want to break the patty.”

Since Guinness World Records’ guidelines say record-breaking food cannot go to waste, Finnebrogue Artisan donated most of the burger to a local charity that distributed it to people who are homeless. Some company staff also enjoyed the vegan burger, according to the press release.

Harmony Montgomery’s Disappearance Date Narrows As Evil Stepmother Kayla Montgomery Makes First Court Appearance

Harmony Montgomery’s Disappearance Date Narrows As Evil Stepmother Kayla Montgomery Makes First Court Appearance

By Edward Era Barbaceba

The disappearance of 5-year-old New Hampshire girl, Harmony Montgomery, has been narrowed down to a 13-day window, according to prosecutors.

The Manchester Attorney General’s Office announced Monday that Harmony disappeared at some point between November 28, 2019, to December 10, 2019. The timing coincides with when Harmony’s father, Adam Montgomery, and his estranged wife, Kayla Montgomery, were evicted from their home in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Kayla Montgomery, center, stepmother of missing
girl Harmony Montgomery, is escorted into
Hillsborough County Superior Court North, in
Manchester, N.H., Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, where
she pleaded not guilty to charges accusing her of
lying last year that Harmony was in her household
 to claim food stamp benefits

Along with Harmony, three other children belonging to the couple lost their home. Witnesses said they saw the Montgomery couple and Harmony living in a car after the eviction, CBS 3 reports

Meanwhile, Kayla Montgomery made her first court appearance Monday. She’s facing both felony and misdemeanor charges for allegedly collecting government benefits in Harmony’s name, after the child was no longer living with her.

Also Monday, Assistant Attorney General Jesse J. O’Neill said that Harmony was seen with both Kayla and Adam Montgomery on at least one date they failed to reveal, the Boston Globe reports. The pair told police the last time they saw Harmony was Thanksgiving 2019, when Adam drove her to her mother Crystal Sorey’s house in Massachusetts.

“We know that is not true,’’ O’Neill said Monday. “There is at least one individual who has told the Manchester Police Department they saw Harmony with [Kayla and Adam Montgomery] after that date.”

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Harmony was reported missing in November 2021 after Sorey contacted the Manchester Police Department. She also sent emails to the mayor as well as to DCYF. Sorey claimed she lost custody of Harmony in 2018 and Adam Montgomery subsequently gained full custody in 2019.

According to Sorey, Adam Montgomery blocked her from social media, blocked her calls, and refused to answer any questions about Harmony. The report prompted an investigation and police learned that the last time Harmony was seen was in late 2019, while reportedly being abused by her father.

Family members claim they witnessed Adam strike Harmony when she couldn’t keep her baby brother from crying. Adam also allegedly made the child clean a toilet with her toothbrush. Harmony’s uncle said he contacted police after the incident, but nothing ever came from it.

Afterward, Montgomery refused to speak with several members of his family and kept them away from Harmony.

Police recorded 29 calls from the home Adam and his family lived at, in Manchester from 2018 to 2021. Often, the calls were made by neighbors.

DCYF was involved twice in August 2019, and Manchester police filed a formal complaint to the agency the following month citing “clutter and empty food containers in every room.”

The report said, however, that “all three children appeared clean and fed.”

The August report also stated that the family was using a generator for electricity but that there was food and everyone appeared healthy.

Four of the calls to the house were made by Adam Montgomery, for domestic disputes and a missing vehicle.

“Any time there is a critical case of a child, regardless of who the child is or the timing, we always do an internal review,” Sununu said during a press conference Wednesday.

“And I’ve instructed DCYF to already start that process to do that … not just where were we in this specific case, but was there any point where information wasn’t being transmitted? Was there any point where we hit a roadblock and/or didn’t respond to something, or anything like that?”

Earlier this month, police arrested Adam for the alleged 2019 assault on Harmony. He remains behind bars but denies knowledge of his daughter’s whereabouts.

One of the Last Known Sightings

One of the last known sightings of Harmony happened in October 2019 at a home off of Gilford Street in Manchester, New Hampshire, after a family spat broke out. The girl’s uncle, Kevin Montgomery, said Adam Montgomery then left with Harmony and broke off contact with several family members.

Kevin Montgomery said Harmony “looked like a scared puppy” the last time he saw her.

Harmony is described as standing around 4 feet tall and weighing 50 pounds. She has blond hair and blue eyes. She is blind in her right eye and should be wearing glasses. The most recent photographs available were taken when she was 5 years old.

Connecticut man arrested after launching racist tirade against workers of smoothie shop.

Connecticut man arrested after launching racist tirade against workers of smoothie shop.

By Edward Era Barbacena

A Connecticut white middle-aged man and father is accused of launching into a racist tirade and tossing a drink at a worker in a smoothie shop Saturday after his son reportedly suffered an allergic reaction, police said.

James Iannazzo, 48, was arrested and charged with a hate crime following the wild scene at Robeks in Fairfield shortly before 2:30 p.m., according to the Fairfield Police Department.

The chaos began when Iannazzo returned home with a smoothie from the business that purportedly contained peanuts — causing the allergic reaction that sent his son to the hospital, authorities said

The irate father returned to Robeks and screamed at workers, demanding to know who made the smoothie containing the allergen, police said.

After an expletive-ridden outburst, Iannazzo allegedly tossed a beverage at an employee and commented on the immigration status of another worker, cops said.

He also allegedly tried to burst into an employees-only area, police said,

The father fled the store before police arrived. He was later arrested and admitted to officers he went back to the store after becoming upset about his son’s severe allergic reaction, according to police.

Workers told investigators that Iannazzo asked for no peanut butter in the smoothie, but did not note the request was because of an allergy.

In a statement provided through a spokesperson, Iannazzo apologized for his comments but insisted that he advised the staff of his son’s nut allergy when ordering.

“My actions at Robek’s were wrong, and I deeply regret them. They do not reflect my values or my character. I feel terrible that I lost my composure so completely,” the father said in the statement. “I had returned to Robek’s to determine what ingredients were in the smoothie that I had previously ordered.”

The father added that his son required two EpiPen shots and lost consciousness on their bathroom floor before he made it to the hospital.

Iannazzo was charged with intimidation based on bigotry or bias, breach of peace and criminal trespass.

Meat Loaf was reportedly anti-vaccine mandate before dying from COVID

Meat Loaf was reportedly anti-vaccine mandate before dying from COVID

By Edward Era Barbacena

The late rocker Meat Loaf was outspokenly anti-vaccine mandate and anti-mask before his COVID-related death —  once telling a reporter, “If I die, I die, but I’m not going to be controlled,” according to reports Friday.

The 74-year-old “Bat Out of Hell” singer —  who was reportedly critically ill with COVID-19 before he passed away Thursday — was opposed to pandemic restrictions, slamming lockdowns and mask mandates during an interview last summer.

The Grammy Award-winning musician, whose real name was Marvin Lee Aday, also railed against vaccine mandates in Australia, sources told TMZ.

Meat Loaf, who struggled with asthma and other health conditions, told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in August he considered lockdowns “political” and masks “useless” before offering reporter Scott Mervins an embrace.

“And on CNN last night, it finally came out that the masks we’re all wearing are useless. But I’ve known that for six months. They don’t do anything. They don’t stop you from getting COVID. They’re just a nuisance and make your nose itch and make it so you can’t breathe.”

He added, “If I die, I die, but I’m not going to be controlled.”

The rocker’s official cause of death wasn’t immediately known Friday. He had not said publicly whether he had been vaccinated for COVID-19.

The “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad” singer also suffered from a back injury in November, which played a role in his declining health.

Meat Loaf won a Grammy for the 1993 hit “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That),” which soared to number one on the charts in more than two dozen countries.

French cannibal Jeremy Rimbaud attacks woman after escaping from mental hospital

French cannibal Jeremy Rimbaud attacks woman after escaping from mental hospital

By Edward Era Barbacena

A French cannibal who murdered a farmer and cooked his heart and tongue with white beans escaped from a psych ward this week — and brutally attacked a random woman walking her dog, according to reports.

Jeremy Rimbaud, 34, beat the woman with a stick in Toulouse in southern France on Wednesday after breaking free from the psychiatric hospital where he has been held since 2011, the UK Mirror reported.

Rimbaud, a former soldier who served in Afghanistan, allegedly grabbed the woman and punched her in the back of the head around 10 p.m.

He started striking her with a stick before passers-by intervened and chased him off, a law enforcement source told the outlet.

“She was absolutely terrified,” the source said.

“It was only later that she was told that she had been attacked by a known cannibal.”

Rimbaud was apprehended a short time later and returned to the hospital.

He has been held there ever since he was given a life sentence for murdering 90-year-old farmer Leopold Pedebidau in nearby Nouilhan in November 2011.

Authorities said Rimbaud had cut out the victim’s tongue and heart after killing him — and then ate the body parts with the beans.

Jeremy Rimbaud is a veteran of the Afghanistan war
and was diagnosed with PTSD and schizophrenia.

Rimbaud, who was busted when he tried to kill a second farmer, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and PTSD linked to his fighting in Afghanistan, according to reports.

Investigators have launched a probe to determine how Rimbaud was able to escape from the secure psych ward.

Christina Darling Arrested After Allegedly Spitting On Children In Brooklyn, Making Antisemitic Remarks

Christina Darling Arrested After Allegedly Spitting On Children In Brooklyn, Making Antisemitic Remarks

By Edward Era Barbacena

A Brooklyn white  woman faces a hate crime charge and more after allegedly spitting on a group of children and hurling antisemitic remarks at them.

Surveillance cameras captured the incident.

The video shows the woman accused of harassing an 8-year-old boy and his younger siblings, 7 and 2, who were walking on Avenue P near Coleman Street.

”This stupid white woman passed by them, yelled at them. Something along the lines of Hitler should have killed you all,” their father Aryah Fried told CBS2’s Thalia Perez.

Fried says his 8-year-old responded to the suspect, saying that he would save his little sister

“I gotta teach him not to engage, but he engaged. And she came running back at him, spat in his face and told him we will kill you all, I know where you live, and we’ll make sure to get you all next time,” Fried said.

Police say it happened on Friday, Jan. 14, around 12:30 p.m. Fried says his children were out playing in the neighborhood as they usually do and have never seen the suspect before.

“I would hope that she understands the severity of what she did,” Fried said. “To do it to anybody is obviously problematic, but for an adult to do it to a child is just beyond crazy.”

Friday, police announced the arrest of Christina Darling, 21. She’s charged with aggravated harassment as a hate crime, acting in a manner injurious to a child, and menacing.

Dead newly born infant found in snow-covered duffel outside Chicago fire station

Dead newly born infant found in snow-covered duffel outside Chicago fire station

This is the second time in January that a newborn was just dumped in the United States

By Edward Era Barbacena

A dead newborn was found dumped in a snow-covered duffel bag outside a Chicago fire station over the weekend, officials said.

Crews only made the grim discovery at about 5 a.m. Saturday when they went outside to start shoveling the snow at the Near North Side fire station, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

“They were in and out so much that morning that no one heard the doorbell,” Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford said.

Authorities don’t know how long the baby boy was outside in the freezing temperatures — or whether he was alive when he was left there.

Langford said the location where the baby was left is used as an air supply maintenance facility, which means crews are often out servicing supplies at other firehouses.

Cops are still trying to obtain surveillance footage from the area to determine who left the infant.

Under state law, infants less than 30 days old can be handed over to safe haven sites — like fire stations — with no questions asked.

Crews made the grim discovery at about 5 a.m. Saturday
when they went outside to start shoveling the snow.

The firehouse where the baby was found is a designated save haven.

But the fire spokesman said that for the safe haven law to work, babies needed to be “passed person-to-person” — and not dumped outside.

“We’re trying to make it clear that you have to make contact. Ringing a bell is not making contact. You have to physically see someone and hand the child over,” Langford said.

He added that whoever left the newborn should have called 911 to report they were leaving it if they couldn’t make contact with anyone inside.

The newborn’s cause of death has not yet been determined after the autopsy was deemed inconclusive.

Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik gives Nazi salute during parole hearing

Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik gives Nazi salute during parole hearing

Anders Behring Breivik has also said he regretted not killing more people during the massacre

By Edward Era Barbacena

Anders Behring Breivik, the Norwegian mass murderer behind one of the country’s worst massacres, gave a Nazi salute in court Tuesday during a parole hearing to decide if he should be released after serving 10 years behind bars.

The far-right extremist, who killed 77 people in Norway — mostly teenagers — during shocking car bomb and shooting attacks in Oslo and at a Labor Party youth camp on July 22, 2011, put up the white supremacist salute as he entered Telemark District Court.

Appearing before the court with a shaven head and black suit, the convicted killer carried signs that read, “Stop Your Genocide Against Our White Nations” and “Nazi-Civil-War.”

“I don’t want to see anything of the kind when the prosecutor speaks,” Judge Dag Bjørvik told Breivik, who was set to address the court later Tuesday.

The court is hearing Breivik’s case after prosecutors last year rejected his application for early release

“Our position is that it is necessary with [continued] confinement to protect society,” prosecutor Hulda Karlsdottir told Reuters.

Breivik, who has legally changed his name to Fjotolf Hansen, is serving the maximum 21-year prison term allowed under Norwegian law, but that sentence can be extended indefinitely as long as he’s considered a danger to society.

Despite the magnitude of his crimes, he can apply for parole after serving 10 years.

The hearing marks the latest courtroom antics by Breivik, who also made a Nazi salute during a proceeding in 2016 in a bid to improve conditions inside the Norwegian prison where he’s being held.

Prosecutors argued Tuesday that he presented a danger to society.

Relatives of survivors had feared that the hearing would provide Breivik with a public platform to further expose his extremist views while experts have said he’s unlikely to be granted an early release.

“The only thing I am afraid of is if he has the opportunity to talk freely and convey his extreme views to people who have the same mindset,” Lisbeth Kristine Røyneland, who runs a family and survivors support group, told the Associated Press prior to the hearing.

In 2016, Breivik entered a courtroom during his criminal trial while putting up a clenched fist, portraying himself as a crusader trying to protect Norway and Europe from Muslim immigration. Four years earlier, he was convicted on murder and terrorism charges and found criminally sane, rejecting prosecutors’ views that he was psychotic at the time.

Pennsylvania man and a dentist Lawrence Rudolph accused of killing wife during Africa hunting trip to claim for insurance money

Pennsylvania man and a dentist Lawrence Rudolph accused of killing wife during Africa hunting trip to claim for insurance money

Bianca Rudolph's other acquaintances corroborated suspicions of an affair.

By Edward Era Barbacena

There are so many news about husband or wife murdering their spouses  just to gain alot of money  from insurance. This has become w common crime among married couples who are mostly white wherein they will end up killing their partners in life just for the sake of money.

A Pennsylvania white dentist and big-game hunter is accused of killing his wife of 34 years while on a hunting trip in Zambia in 2016 in a scheme to collect millions of dollars in life insurance money.

Big-game hunter Lawrence Rudolph, 67, allegedly shot and killed his wife Bianca Finizio Rudolph on a trip to Zambia in 2016, then claimed nearly $5 million in insurance benefits, according to a federal criminal complaint obtained by CBS 2.

Rudolph, who founded and operates the Three Rivers Dental in Pittsburgh, allegedly rushed to have his wife’s remains cremated in Africa just days after her death, officials said.

Lawrence and Bianca were active big-game hunters. Bianca had hopes to kill a leopard during the 2016 trip, but she ended up being the one allegedly hunted.

He has now been charged with foreign murder and mail fraud, officials said.

According to federal investigators, Rudolph made life insurance claims through seven different life insurance companies for a $4.8 million payout for his wife’s death, which was ruled as accidental by Zambian law enforcement officials.

On Oct. 11, 2016 at 5:30 a.m. local time, Bianca was shot in the chest with a shotgun

Rudolph told Zambian police that he was in the bathroom of their cabin and Bianca in the bedroom area when he heard a gunshot. The dentist claimed he came out of the bathroom and found his wife lying on the ground and bleeding from her chest. He told police he believed that the shotgun had been left loaded from a hunt the day prior and it had discharged as she tried to pack it in its case.

A professional hunting guide on scene allegedly “recalled seeing the shotgun and an expanded shotshell on the ground. The shotgun was inside a partially zipped gun case.”

Rudolph and his wife – both apparently accomplished big-game hunters – had frequently traveled to Africa for hunting excursions. On this particular trip, Bianca’s goal was to kill a leopard. She never got her leopard, but killed “numerous other animals.” Rudolph was on the trip, but didn’t hunt.

Officials said later that afternoon at around 4:30 p.m., Rudolph phoned the US Embassy to discuss his wife’s funeral options, and his desire to have her body cremated while her body was held in a local funeral home. He spoke with the consular chief, who after their chat “told the FBI he had a bad feeling about the situation, which he thought was moving too quickly.” The chief traveled with two others from the embassy to the funeral to take photographs of Bianca’s body to preserve evidence.

The consular chief, a 20 year veteran in US Marines,  described the wound as “straight on the heart” and said the wound was not caused by a “tight group of pellets.” He found no gas burns typical to a contact wound, and estimated that Bianca had been shot from 6.5 to 8 feet away.

Rudolph called the consular chief and was “livid” that he had photographed his wife’s dead body. They met at the funeral home and discussed notifying family members, officials said. Rudolph allegedly told him that wanted to personally tell his family about the death, saying the children were from a different marriage and were not Bianca’s. At one point, Rudolph suggested that Bianca may have committed suicide, according to the allegations against him.

Bianca had filed her first life insurance policy in 1987, according to investigators, and updated the policy in 2016, when she died.

Four of the seven companies hired a private investigation firm to look into Bianca’s death. All of the insurance policies determined that Rudolph should receive his payment from the policy.

After her death, a  “friend” contacted the FBI in Pretoria, South Africa and said she wanted the FBI to investigate further. The friend said that she “suspected foul play” because Rudolph “had been involved in prior extramarital affairs and had been having an affair at the time of Bianca’s death.” She allegedly said Rudolph was “verbally abusive” and the two had fought over money.

The friend said that Rudolph’s kids didn’t find out about Bianca’s death until a week after she died, and other friends and family didn’t know until the funeral. She allegedly said she believed Bianca, a “strict Catholic”, would not have wanted to be cremated, despite Rudolph’s claims that is what she had always planned.

The acquaintance told federal investigators: “Larry is never going to divorce her because he doesn’t want to lose his money, and she’s never going to divorce him because of her Catholicism.” Other acquaintances corroborated suspicions of an affair.

Another friend, the ex-wife of a pro-hunting guide who was present at the time of Bianca’s death and who’d known Bianca since 2010, said the gun may have been customized and repeatedly jammed. She also raised concerns over the choice of cremation and Bianca’s religious beliefs, the report said.

Investigators interviewed a former employee at Three Rivers Dental who’d worked there from February 2015 to February 2016, when she said Rudolph’s “girlfriend” who was also white was the manager. The ex-employee said the alleged girlfriend had told her she had been in a relationship with Rudolph for 15-20 years. The mistress allegedly told the employee that she had given him “an ultimatum of one year to sell his dental offices and leave Bianca.”

Investigators said that by January 2017, Rudolph was living with the girlfriend. Records showed the couple traveled together to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico in 2010, twice in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, July 2016, and in 2017 right after Bianca’s death.

Financial records showed that on Oct. 23, 2016 — the day of Bianca’s funeral — Rudolph purchased a plane ticket for the girlfriend to travel to his home in Arizona, according to the affidavit. The purchase was canceled later that day. However, three days later he purchased another ticket to fly a different woman to Las Vegas on Oct. 26, investigators claimed.

During the FBI’s investigation, the Zambia consular chief’s photos of the body were reviewed by the Colorado Medical Examiner, who said in a statement: “In my opinion, it would be physically impossible to accidentally fire this shotgun in its carrying case and produce the entrance defect noted on the body of Ms. Rudolph

Rudolph’s attorney filed motions on Tuesday to get him out of a Colorado detention center to Arizona, where he owns a home. His attorneys have allegedly argued that he and Bianca signed a prenuptial agreement, and he would not have lost much in a divorce. They’ve further said that he has no financial motive to kill her, with his dental practices valued at $8 million, according to reports.

“This is an outrageous prosecution against Dr. Larry Rudolph, a man who loved his wife of 34 years and did not kill her,” Lawrence’s attorney, David Oscar Markus, said in a statement obtained by People. “Back in 2016, his wife had a terrible accident during a hunting trip in Zambia. The investigators on the scene concluded it was an accident. Several insurance companies also investigated and agreed.”

“Now, more than five years later, the government is seeking to manufacture a case against this well-respected and law-abiding dentist. Dr. Rudolph looks forward to his trial, where he will demonstrate his innocence.”

Paramedic couple who stole drugs from dying patients sentenced to five years in prison

By Edward Era Barbacena

A heartless paramedic white couple who stole drugs from dead or dying patients to fuel their addiction have been caged for five years each.

Ruth Lambert, 33, and Jessica Silvester, 29, dressed as nurses to dupe elderly victims into letting them into their homes during lockdown

Once inside, the couple raided medicine cabinets for painkillers to feed their opiate addiction.

The “callous” pair are believed to have targeted almost 30 vulnerable patients in an “astonishing abuse of power”.

They reviewed patient records to pick out their next victim through their jobs for South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb).

The couple then took turns researching the addresses and exchanged WhatsApp messages to confirm who would carry out the raid.

Some of the patients’ families read heartbreaking victim statements as Lambert and Silvester were caged for five years today after admitting conspiring to burgle and conspiring to commit theft.

Colin Singleton told Canterbury Crown Court how the evil pair stole his late wife’s crucial medication after she passed away from terminal cancer.

He said: “Within five hours of my wife’s death someone phoned me from the district nurses.

“I couldn’t believe they would be so callous as to phone me so quickly, but they put me under pressure to come around and collect the drugs. They were there within five minutes.

“They asked for more [and] when I gave them some of them, I was so annoyed I basically told them to go away, or words to that effect.”

Colin, who had cared for his wife Linda in her final months, eventually phoned the hospital and was “sickened” to discover he had been duped.

The court was told the couple carried out an estimated 25 burglaries in a nine month scheme across Thanet, Canterbury, Whitstable, Faversham and Herne Bay.

As well as drugs, they also stole a £14,000 ultrasound machine from the NHS.

Silvester’s login details were used 1,847 times in three months to access the NHS computer system.

Once they found a target, they would dress as nurses to enter the homes of the dead or dying.

‘CALLOUS’

The couple’s crimes eventually came to an end in August last year when police received a number of reports of distraction burglaries.

Police seized medications bearing the names of other people as well as nurses’ uniforms and NHS computer equipment from their home.

Judge Rupert Lowe described their actions as an “extraordinarily callous and uncaring form of exploitation of the most vulnerable people – often, when they were terminally ill, or dying, or in some cases when they had actually died”.

Detective Sergeant Jay Robinson, from the Kent Chief Constable’s Crime Squad said: “When reports came in regarding suspicious individuals visiting properties looking for medication, further work was carried out to review earlier burglary reports to Kent Police to see if they were linked.

“This led to the scale of Lambert and Silvester’s offending becoming clear. These offences were an astonishing abuse of position.

“These two thieves, whose jobs were to care for those in need, were plotting and stealing crucial medication from terminally ill patients.

“Many of their victims have since passed away and will never know that justice has been done. Our investigation was carried out, knowing we had to represent those victims and do the very best for them.”

Queen Elizabeth Strips Prince Andrew of His Titles Amid Sex Abuse Court Case

Queen Elizabeth Strips Prince Andrew of His Titles Amid Sex Abuse Court Case

Queen’s second son agrees to not be called ‘His Royal Highness’ as Buckingham Palace Cuts Ties

By Edward Era Barbacena

Prince Andrew had his military links and royal patronages removed on Thursday and will no longer be known as "His Royal Highness", Buckingham Palace said, as the son of Queen Elizabeth fights a U.S. lawsuit in which he is accused of sex abuse.

Andrew, 61, the Duke of York, was forced to step down from public duties in 2019 because of his connections to convicted U.S. sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and after a disastrous BBC TV interview which the prince had hoped would clear his name.

Thursday's move by the royal family means he will now lose all his royal connections.

"With the queen's approval and agreement, The Duke of York’s military affiliations and royal patronages have been returned to the queen," Buckingham Palace said in a statement.

"The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a private citizen."

On Wednesday, Andrew's lawyers failed to persuade a U.S. judge to dismiss a civil lawsuit in which Virginia Giuffre accuses him of sexually abusing her when she was a teenager. read more

U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan said Giuffre, 38, could pursue claims that Andrew battered her and intentionally caused her emotional distress while Epstein - a financier who killed himself in jail in August 2019 while awaiting his sex trafficking trial - was trafficking her.

The prince, the 95-year-old queen's second son, has denied Giuffre's accusations that he forced her to have sex more than two decades ago at a London home of former Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, and abused her at two Epstein properties.

The judge's decision means Andrew could be forced to give evidence at a trial which could begin between September and December 2022 if no settlement were reached.

'MARATHON NOT A SPRINT'

"Given the robustness with which Judge Kaplan greeted our arguments, we are unsurprised by the ruling," a source close to Andrew said.

"However, it was not a judgement on the merits of Ms Giuffre’s allegations. This is a marathon not a sprint and the Duke will continue to defend himself against these claims."

A representative for Giuffre did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Andrew's links to Epstein had led to a swathe of damaging media reports, leading the prince to decide to do an TV interview in November 2019 which he hoped would resolve the matter.

It instead led to ridicule and further questions, and as the controversy grew, Buckingham Palace had increasingly distanced itself from the prince, declining to comment and referring all questions to his lawyers.

The U.S. conviction last month of his friend Ghislaine Maxwell on sex trafficking and other charges of recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein to abuse, together with his own case, had left his reputation in the British media in tatters.

A royal source said the decision over Andrew came after wide discussions among the Windsors, and that his military affiliations and patronages would be redistributed to other members of the family.

Earlier, an open letter to the queen, signed by more than 150 veterans calling for Andrew too have his military titles taken away and "if necessary, that he be dishonourably discharged", was published by the anti-monarchy campaign group Republic.

They called for Elizabeth to take immediate action because her son had been "uncooperative and less than truthful" about his relationship with Epstein, and had brought the armed services he represented into disrepute.

"Regardless of the result of Virginia Giuffre’s civil case against Prince Andrew, his position in Britain's armed forces is now untenable," the veterans' letter said.

The scandal surrounding Andrew comes on the heels of the damage caused after the queen's grandson Prince Harry and his American wife Meghan quit royal duties to forge new careers in Los Angeles, later accusing the royal household of racism.

They too were stripped of all their patronages, the 'His and Her Royal Highness' titles, and Harry also lost his prized military roles.
