Leftists Slammed Carlos Yulo for Making Political Gesture
Philippine Political News
Oppositions and leftist group became bitterly disappointed on Carlos Yulo despite taking home the gold medal after doing the President Duterte's signature fist.
Manila, Philippines - Carlos Edriel Yulo and other Filipino athletes who bagged several medals were commended by Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte at the Malacanang club house on October 16. The Filipino strongman leader was so proud of their achievements particularly of Carlos Yulo who happens to be the first Filipino gymnast who won a gold medal at the recently held FIG Artistic Gymnastic World Championship in Stuttgart, Germany. Many of the Filipinos became so proud of the young athletes.
But not all were so proud of Yulo. The pro-liberal party, the yellow community and several leftist groups all of a sudden became awfully disappointed after seeing a photo posted on social media of Yulo along with other athletes proudly doing the " President Duterte's signature fist."
These not so happy leftists saw politics behind the very simple hand gestures made by the athletes particularly Yulo. Many of them using the social media expressed disappointments against Yulo and hoped that he didn't.
