Iranian mobs set a clinic on fire that was rumored to have treated Covid-19 patients

Bandar Abbas - Angry Iranian mobs swarmed the Townhid clinic in Bandar Abbas and set it on fire that was rumored to have accommodated patients from Qom city who were infected with Corona virus on the evening of February 28.

     There were allegations that Covid-19 patients were transported from Qom city to the Townhid clinic in Bandar Abbas that triggered ire and anxieties among residents of Bandar Abbas according to social media reports.  Qom is the epicenter of Corona virus outbreak in Iran and residents of Bandar Abbas were too hesitant to take risk of infections because their city is still Covid-19 free.

     However, according to health officials, the allegations of transporting Covid-19 patients from Qom to Bandar Abbas are just a "mere lie" with no actual basis of facts.

     So far, Iran is one of the countries, that has a large reported cases of Covid-19 and dear toll next to China. There are already 34 confirmed that deaths  out of 388 cases of Covid-19 infection.
