US President Donald Trump who facing impeachment on a charge of "incitement of insurrection" on Tuesday refuses to take full responsibility of the actions committed by his supporters who breached the US State Capitol on January 6.
Trump told reporters that his speech the day before the Wednesday insurrection - in which he urged his supporters to march on the Capitol and fight - had been analyzed by unnamed others, who he said believe it was appropriate.
" If you read my speech..what I said was totally appropriate," he told reporters when asked if he would take any responsibility when his supporters breached and stormed the US State Capitol on January 6.
"They've analyzed my speech and my words and my final paragraph, and my final sentence and everybody... thought it was appropriate," he said in a statement before leaving to Alamo, Texas to visit and sign his signature wall on the border of Mexico.
Trump remarks on Tuesday, was his first in public since the January 6 insurrection, though he released a video denouncing the actions his supporters, he still refuses to concede.
