Edward Brennan a white man has been charged with assault and his mother has been fired from her high-paying banking job after they called the police on a parking attendant at their Nashville apartment complex and tried to physically assault him in a filmed altercation that has since gone viral.

Brennan, 27, was served with an arrest warrant last week after he allegedly took a swing at Johnny Martinez, who was checking cars for permits at the  residential parking garage on November 27.

'This is a secure building,' said Bitsy Brennan, Edward's mother.

'So how do you think I got in here? Did I follow you in here?' Martinez asks before Edward lunges at him, temporarily knocking his camera down.

Bitsy, who was recently listed as a wealth management associate at a UBS division, is 'no longer employed at the firm,' a spokesperson for the Swiss financial services company told DailyMail.com on Tuesday.

Martinez told the Daily Beast that he works for a booting company that has hundreds of contracts with properties across Nashville, including River House apartments, where last month's incident took place.

'If they didn't have a permit, we would immobilize the vehicle. We would put a boot on it,' he said. 

Martinez posted a five-minute video of the altercation on YouTube the day after the incident. It is not clear whether he explained his job to the Brennans, who accused him of not living in the building and repeatedly refusing their request to show ID.
