Filipino police from Valenzuela city arrested for molestation of 4th grade student

38 year-old Reynold Panao was apprehended by Valenzuela cops who allegedly raped a 9 year-old girl who was a daughter of her live-in partner

Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian presented the suspect, Police Corporal Reynold Aggabao Panao, 38, assigned to Sub Station 6 - Valenzuela City Police Station member.

The service firearm, badge, and ID of Panao, who was also charged with statutory rape in the fiscal while undergoing Summary Dismissal Proceedings, have also been revoked.

Based on the report of the Women's and Child Police Desk (WCPD) submitted to Col. Salvador Destura, Valenzuela Chief of Police, the suspect committed the rape whenever the child's mother was not present.

But on September 3 around 1 in the morning,  the suspect again molested the 9-year-old victim in their house in Dalandanan, Valenzuela.

Panao also threatened the victim when he told her "not to tell anyone", if your mommy finds out, I will beat her up."

Courageously, the victim told her mother the the horrific incident she experienced from Panao as her stepdad who in turn sought help from the police. The suspect who did not put up a fight was arrested.
