Tina Gonzales a white former correctional officer senteced for having morally corrupt sex with an inmate

According to Fresno county sheriff's office, Tina Gonzales, a 27 year old white female and a former correctional officer in California was arrested in 2020 after investigators uncovered that she was premisciously having sex with an inmate infront of other prisoners. She was also arrested for providing a mobile phone to the inmate and giving illegal substance while on dut in jail.

The sheriff also said that she bailed out after being in custody for a day.

In 2019,  Gonzales was busted after other Scorrectional staff members were given a tip that one of the inmates acquired a cellphone who also having a sexual relationship with Gonzales. They carried out a thourough search of the innate's cell and found out that the allegations was true. It was revealed by the inmate that the cellphone found in his cell was actually given by Gonzales.

Gonzales was accused of cutting a hole in her trouser between her upper portion of her thighs to facilitate her intimate sexual intercourse with the inmate, which they reportedly within view of other 11 prisoners.

Fresno's assistant sheriff Steve McComas told the judge that her behavior or conduct was "something only a depraved mind can come up with."

"She has shown no remorse," McComas told the Bee. "She continually calls and has sexually explicit conversations with the inmate in question and boasts about the crimes she carried out."

Gonzalez was sentenced to 210 days behind bars and two years of probation on felony charges of sexual activity by a detention facility employee with a consenting confined adult and possession of drugs or an alcoholic beverage in a jail facility. She had pleaded guilty.

She was interviewed by detectives and resigned from the sheriff's office.
