The Oxford School Shooter Ethan Crumbley Plead Guilty To Mass Shooting

By Edward Era Barbacena

The Oxford School Shooter named Ethan Crumbley, 16, is accused of opening fire at Oxford High School outside Detroit on Nov. 30 with a semi-automatic handgun that his father purchased for him as a Christmas gift days before the massacre.

Almost a year ago, the teen plotted and planned on social media how he would commit the mass shooting

The Oxford Community Schools superintendent issued a statement this week in an effort to “clarify” incidents that happened before the Nov. 30, 2021 mass shooting at Oxford High School.

In his letter to the community on Tuesday, Superintendent Tim Throne wrote: “The district was unaware of the perpetrator’s social media presence or related posts until after the November 30 incident.” The superintendent also wrote that the counselor and dean of students, not the high school administration, were the only ones to meet with the shooting suspect on the day of the shooting.

Using a semi-automatic handgun purchased by his father, the teen was zealous in carrying out his mission to kill. Additionally, the parents of the high school shooter were captured about a week after the incident, now facing 15 years in prison. Despite their attorney requesting a reduced bond for the pair, the judge denied the request.

Meanwhile, on Monday, Ethan Crumbley plead guilty to a total of 24 charges, including one count of terrorism causing death and four counts of first-degree murder.
