The two homosexual predatory paedophiles working as independent contractors of GMA Network in the Philippines, Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz, have responded to the complaints filed by Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach
According to a statement issued by legal counsel Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque on Friday, her clients Nones and Cruz were “deeply saddened by the serious allegations.”
“Our clients are deeply saddened by the serious allegations hurled against them circulating on social media. And though these allegations do not mirror the true accounts of the event, we would like to reserve the right to respond in a proper forum when we receive a copy of the formal complaint,” the lawyer said in a statement.
As the case was still being investigated, her clients asked for respect from the public and to “refrain from posting baseless defamatory allegations.”
“For the meantime, we urge the public to respect the investigation being conducted on this case and we advise people who have no personal knowledge of the incident to refrain from posting baseless defamatory allegations and therefore unfairly subjecting both parties to publicity trial.”
The lawyer also warned the public regarding sharing images of her clients.
"We would like to warn also those who post the pictures/images of our client without their consent as this may constitute violation of their privacy and violation of the cybercrime law," she said in a separate statement.
In a statement released yesterday by GMA Network, it said that it has already initiated an investigation to address the said matter
“GMA Network has just received a formal complaint from Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach against two GMA independent contractors, Jojo Nones, and Richard Cruz," the network said in its statement.
Meanwhile, the National Bureau of Investigation confirmed to ABS-CBN News that Niño Muhlach and son Sandro visited its office on Friday to formally file a sexual molestation complaint.
