Lori Vallow Daybell receives several life sentences for the murders of her two children.

By Edward Era Barbacena

Lori Vallow Daybell, known as the “Doomsday Mom” for her extreme religious beliefs, denied murdering her children and her husband’s previous wife in a bizarre and grandiose statement in an Idaho courtroom Monday as she was sentenced to life in prison.

Vallow Daybell was convicted in May of murdering her two children, 16-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua Jaxon “JJ” Vallow. She was also convicted of conspiring in the murder of Tammy Daybell, who died in 2019. Daybell was married at the time to Chad Daybell, now Lori’s husband.

Prosecutors had earlier announced that they would not be seeking the death penalty, and on Monday, Vallow Daybell was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.

“Jesus Christ knows that no one was murdered in this case,” Vallow Daybell insisted during the hearing, before claiming that the spirits of Tylee, JJ and Tammy Daybell had visited her. She said she’d died in 2002 while giving birth to Tylee, and that she’s since had “access to heaven and the spirit world.”

JJ and Tylee disappeared in September 2019, inspiring a nationwide search. Vallow Daybell did not participate in the search or answer questions about her children’s whereabouts, instead fleeing to Hawaii with Chad Daybell. JJ and Tylee’s bodies were found on June 9, 2020, on Daybell’s property in rural eastern Idaho.

Police nab  Roberto Hisman Gabison in murder of 19-year-old Reah Mae Tocmo in Cebu City

By Edward Era Barbacena

A suspect in the murder of Reah Mae Tocmo has been arrested, Cebu City police confirmed on Monday, July 31.

The suspect, whom they identified as Roberto Hisman Gabison alias “Insik,” was collared in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City early morning on Sunday, July 30.

His arrest was made a few hours after the police also arrested Simeon Cabotero, who identified Gabison as the one who told him to sell  Tocmo’s cellular phone.

Gabison is now detained at the custodial facility of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO)  while police continue to investigate Tocmo’s killing.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Janette Rafter, CCPO’s deputy director for operations, said they are yet to determine Gabison’s involvement in Tocmo’s murder and if he was working with several others in perpetrating the crime.

Cabotero, on the other hand, is now detained at the detention cell of the Labangon Police Station.

According to Rafter, Cabotero was first arrested by the police on Saturday, July 29, 2023, in Sitio Sampaguita in Banawa in Barangay Guadalupe for the possession of an unlicensed firearm.

Personnel of the Guadalupe and Labongon Police Stations were in the area then to gather CCTV footage that may help them solve Tocmo’s death and identify her attacker/s.

Rafter said that a concerned citizen approached the police at about 1 p.m. on Saturday to report the presence of an armed person in their area.

Authorities responded and arrested Cabotero for the possession of an unlicensed .22 caliber magnum revolver with four live ammunitions.

During his arrest, police recognized Cabotero as the man whose face was shown in a photo that the CCPO posted on its official Facebook page as a person of interest in Tocmo’s murder.

The photo was grabbed from the CCTV footage that was earlier secured by the police.

“Nakita nato nga mao gyud diay siya. Siya gyud kay ang pinaka identifying marks ato niya is the scar [on his face]. Tinuod nga siya gyud ang mao gyud nga taw and he was also positively identified sa katong nipaplit sa cellphone,” Rafter said.

During their investigation, police asked Gabison about the CCTV footage.  He later on admitted that he was the one who sold Tocmo’s phone.  He identified as certain “Insik” as the one who asked him to make the sale last July 16, Rafter said.

Rafter added that Cabotero also claimed that Gabison was the last person he saw with Tocmo. But Rafter did not elaborate.

At around 7:45 a.m. of the next day or on Sunday, July 30, police arrested Gabison in a buy-bust operation in Sitio Kabulakan in Barangay Guadalupe.

When the police learned that Gabison was known in their area by his alias, Insik, they then asked Cabotero if he was the same man who directed him to sell Tocmo’s phone.

Rafter said they showed Cabotero a photo of Gabison and he confirmed that the man on the photo was “Insik.”

In an interview with reporters, Gabisaon denied knowing Cabotero. He said that he never asked Cabotero to sell a cellphone on his behalf.

“Wala ko kaila ana [ni Cabotero],” he repeatedly said.

Gabison also denied any involvement in Tocmo’s death.  He said that he only heard about Tocmo from media reports.

However, he admitted that he had a phone which he pawned because he needed cash to pay the rent of the bedspace that he occupies with his common-law partner.  But he said owned the cellphone that was pawned.

Gabison claimed having asked a man, whom he identified as Epoy Cañete, to bring the cellphone to a pawnshop in Barangay Tabunok in Talisay City.

He said that his wife has possession of the pawnshop’s receipt.

Rafter said that they will continue to look into Tocmo’s case.

They are yet to determine how and why Gabison gold hold of Tocmo’s cellphone. They also wanted to find out why and how Tocmo was killed.

A Tennessee white  woman was busted on charges of child porn possession — leading cops to allegedly discover a sick video of her dog performing a sex act on her.

Stephanie Weir, 33, is facing charges of sexual exploitation of a minor, criminal offense against animals and other obscene crimes, according to an arrest warrant.

The alleged pervert, who lives in suburban Collierville, was picked up by Memphis cops who were tipped off in May to her alleged trove of child porn by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, an affidavit said.

The group was notified about an image of a “child in a lascivious pose nude” on Weir’s online storage cloud by New Jersey software company Synchronoss Technologies Inc., police said.

Weir was then found to be in possession of videos depicting children engaged in sex acts with children, as well as a clip of Weir “having her pet dog perform a sex act on her,” according to the document.

Weir, a data specialist at United Auto Recovery, according to her LinkedIn, is being held in the Shelby County Jail on $100,000 bond, court records showed.

She allegedly admitted to detectives that she filmed the disturbing bestiality video and had used social media message groups to obtain and trade the child porn.

The second mass shooting that took place on July 30 in the US

By Edward Era Barbacena

A “mass shooting” at a block party in Muncie, Indiana early Sunday left one person dead and at least 19 others injured.

Dispatchers received a call for multiple people shot in the area of S. Hackley St. and E. Willard St. around 1:14 a.m. Initial information was that there was a “large party” at this location.

Police said in a news release that there was no active threat to the community and that “multiple” victims were injured, including some critically.

“Due to the number of victims and nature of the incident, multiple agencies were contacted to assist,” the City of Muncie said in a press release.

Police officers from neighboring Eaton were among those who provided assistance. Eaton Police Chief Jay Turner called the incident a “mass shooting.”

Police did not say how many people were injured, but officials at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie told The Associated Press that 19 victims were treated in their emergency department for injuries related to the shooting, and more than a dozen remained at the hospital in stabilized condition Sunday morning.

Criswell said some victims sustained critical injuries and were transferred by medical helicopter to other facilities.

Delaware County Coroner Gavin Greene identified the man who died as 30-year-old Joseph E. Bonner III, The Star Press reported.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

A shooting in Lansing, Michigan, early Sunday wounded five people, two of them critically, authorities said.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 1 a.m. at a shopping center, the Lansing Police Department said in a statement.

Lansing firefighters rushed several victims to a local hospital. Police requested assistance from neighboring jurisdictions, due to the size of the crowd.

The victims, who were not publicly named, ranged in age from 16 to 26 years old, police said. Two victims were in critical condition.

Multiple firearms were recovered from the scene and police took several persons of interest into custody.

No further details about the persons of interest, the extent of the victims’ injuries and their current conditions were immediately provided.

Detectives and crime scene investigators are at the scene working to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting.

Singapore executed a woman for the first in nearly two decades after being found guilty of drug trafficking

Singapore executed a woman for the first in nearly two decades after being found guilty of drug trafficking

Saridewi Djamani, 45, was sentenced to death in 2018 for trafficking nearly 31 grams of pure heroin

By Edward Era Barbacena

Singapore executed a woman for the first time in 19 years on Friday, marking the city-state's second death by hanging this week for convicted drug traffickers.

Saridewi Djamani, 45, was sentenced to death in 2018 for trafficking nearly 31 grams of pure heroin, according to the Central Narcotics Bureau. The agency described the amount as "sufficient to feed the addiction of about 370 abusers for a week."

Despite calls from activists to end capital punishment for drug-related crimes, Singapore mandates the death penalty for anyone convicted of trafficking more than 500 grams of cannabis and 15 grams of heroin.

Two days before Djamani's execution, 56-year-old Mohammed Aziz Hussain was executed by hanging for trafficking approximately 50 grams of heroin, and another drug trafficker is set to be executed next week, the Associated Press reported.

Both Djamani and Hussain were given due process, according to the Central Narcotics Bureau, which allegedly includes appeals of their conviction and sentence, and petition for clemency.

The last known time a woman was hanged in Singapore was in 2004 when 36-year-old hairdresser Yen May Woen was executed for drug trafficking.

The city-state has been asked to do away with executions for drug offenses by human rights groups, international activists and the United Nations, all of whom say evidence shows that capital punishment does not deter illegal drug activity.

Singapore authorities disagree with those findings and insist the death sentences are important in slowing drug demand and supply, according to the AP.

The execution set for Aug. 3 is for a former delivery driver convicted in 2019 of trafficking around 50 grams of heroin, according to Transformative Justice Collective, a Singapore group that advocates to abolish capital punishment.

The man maintained in his trial that he thought he was delivering contraband cigarettes for a friend he owed money to, adding that he trusted his friend, so he didn't check the bag's contents. Though the court determined him to be a courier, he still had to be given the death penalty under Singapore's laws, the group said.

If his execution takes place as scheduled, it would be the city-state's fifth this year.

Human rights groups say 15 people have been executed in Singapore for drug offenses since hangings resumed in March 2022, an average of one a month.

Jeffrey James Exon receives 683-month prison sentence for the  murder of his 2-year-old daughter Aurora Exon

By Edward Era Barbacena

PURE WHITE EVIL

It is very horrible that almost everyday, we encounter news regarding children being murdered by their own parents in the United States. The majority of the suspects are usually white Americans. What's with these white people?

A Kansas man whose 2-year-old daughter died after going days without food while he was passed out drunk has been sentenced to nearly 57 years in prison.

The sentence ordered Friday was the maximum that could be imposed after Jeffrey Exon was convicted in April of charges that included aggravated child endangerment and first-degree murder in the commission of a felony, The Topeka Capital-Journal reported.

Exon, a 47-year-old who goes by the name of James, called 911 on January 5, 2021, telling a dispatcher that his daughter, Aurora Exon, had stopped breathing. He also said she recently had been "starving herself."

She was cold to the touch when found, and appeared to have been dead for several days, Shawnee County District Attorney Mike Kagay said. The coroner blamed her death on a form of malnutrition called marasmus.

Five empty liquor bottles were found in Exon's bedroom, investigators said. They determined that Exon would not feed or attend to his children for days because of his addiction issues.

Exon's 6-year-old son, who was 4 when his sister died, testified at trial that his dad locked them in their rooms for several days without food while he "slept."

Seonaid Nichols, the children's mother, said she agreed to give Exon custody of the children because her living conditions didn't allow her to take care of them.

American homosexual influencer Dylan Mulvaney now charging $40,000 to talk about women empowerment.

American homosexual influencer Dylan Mulvaney now charging $40,000 to talk about women empowerment.

By Edward Era Barbacena

The disgusting American homosexual influencer Dylan Mulvaney has come under scrutiny after allegations from the @LibsofTikTik Twitter account claiming the controversial influencer demanding $40,000 for speaking engagements on women empowerment at colleges in the US. Social media users also accused his agent, Crista Spadafore, of confirming the claims.

According to Sportskeeda, Mulvaney announces on social media that the influencer was seeking work and open to booking speaking gigs at universities. Mulvaney shared a link to a Creative Arts Agency highlighting his expertise in LGBTQIA+ advocacy.

Additionally, the allegations are sparking outrage on social media. Some Twitter posts are using appropriate pronouns for the influencer, who identifies with she/her or they/them pronouns.

Furthermore, Chaya Raichik, the founder of Libs of TikTok states that this is another win for the patriarchy. Conservative men are stating that most men can only dream of talking about women and get paid $40,000 to do so. Some are giving their ironic respect towards Mulvaney for pulling this off.

In addition to this, conservatives claim that this is a big slap in the face to women. They claim that now men can be women and tell women they are better. Furthermore, they are getting well above the average salaries of women in America to talk about women’s issues. Many are finding this to be a big problem in society.

Following that, some state that this is the drawback of having the freedom of speech. However, conservatives disagree as they state that this is a good thing. It is good to know who the conservatives are actually up against, and it’s all thanks to the freedom of speech.

Regardless, this is seemingly upsetting both centrist and conservative women. There are a number of women struggling in America, yet none of them have the privilege of getting $40,000 to attend a talk.

American transactivist ( David Chester )Dana Rivers - who murdered lesbian couple and their 19-year-old son in hate crime - is 'preying on inmates' at women's prison in California

By Edward Era Barbacena

A white transgender triple murderer controversially housed in a women's prison has been accused of 'preying on inmates' while bragging about receiving 'special treatment' due to California's woke incarceration policies.

Dana Rivers, 68, who previously went by David Chester Warfield before transitioning to female, brutally shot and stabbed lesbian couple Charlotte Reed and Patricia Wright, before turning the gun on their 19-year-old adopted son Benny Diambu-Wright in November 2016.

At his sentencing last month, judge Scott Patton said the killings were 'the most depraved crime I ever handled in the criminal justice system in 33 years'.

But a 2021 California law allowing criminals to request their prison based on their gender identity has allowed Rivers to wreak havoc in Central California Women's Facility in Chowchilla, California.

'Rivers has been a problem since he rolled in the door,' one inmate at the facility told the Washington Free Beacon. '(She) is trying to control the women, saying he gets to bypass everything — special treatment.'

Decades before her horrific crime, Rivers was a renowned transgender activist who made national headlines in 1999 after being fired from his teaching job for transitioning genders, and angering faculty by reportedly discussing 'sexuality and the importance of gender self-determination' with students.

After ending up in her chosen prison, which houses roughly half of California's female inmate population, the murderer has allegedly been terrorizing her peers.

Inmates have complained that she has been leering at the women to make them uncomfortable, while patronizing them and rubbing the outlandish transgender policies in their faces. As part of this, she has allegedly been forcing the women to push her around the prison in a wheelchair.

California has come under fire in recent years after the introduction of the lenient policy brought concerns for the safety of female prisoners. The move even led inmate Tomiekia Johnson to be fired from his job in the prison after she filed a complaint against the prison enforcing the policy.

'I think it's a slap in the face,' she told the Washington Free Beacon, claiming that another inmate told her the transgender killer had been 'staring at my butt.'

'As much as they know I’ve been vocal about being housed with predators, and how much they target me, and how much it’s a known fact that they harass me and provoke me, for them to put him in the building with me is beyond negligent,' Johnson continued. 'I feel betrayed by the prison for doing this.'

Blaine Calverley, turned himself in after his father and the victim’s mother reported the incident to an officer with the Morton Police Department.

By Edward Era Barbacena

A 19-year-old Tacoma man has been charged in Lewis County Superior Court after he allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl in the women’s bathroom of Gust Backstrom Park in Morton on Wednesday.

The suspect, identified as Blaine Calverley, turned himself in after his father and the victim’s mother reported the incident to an officer with the Morton Police Department, according to court documents.

In her statement to law enforcement, the alleged victim said Calverly “invited her to go into the bathroom” because “that is the only place to charge his phone” at about 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, after the adults had gone to bed.

The victim said she initially declined, as she was on the phone with her boyfriend, but went to go talk to Calverley after her phone died, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed in Lewis County Superior Court on Thursday.

When she arrived at the bathroom, Calverley reportedly turned off the lights in the bathroom “and said he did not want anyone to see him in the girls’ bathroom” then asked the alleged victim to sit down next to him. When she declined, Calverley allegedly “put (his) hands on her shoulders and forced her down” before proceeding to rape her, while the victim continued to fight back and tell him no.

Calverley was booked into the Lewis County Jail just before 9:50 a.m. on July 26 and has since been charged with one count of second-degree rape, defined in state law as forcibly compelling a victim to engage in sexual intercourse.

The charge is a class A felony carrying a maximum penalty of life in prison.

Bail is set at $50,000 and arraignment is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 3.

American Man of Florida Found Guilty of Federal Hate Crimes for Racially Motivated Attack Against Six Black Men Near 1923 Rosewood Massacre Site

American Man of Florida Found Guilty of Federal Hate Crimes for Racially Motivated Attack Against Six Black Men Near 1923 Rosewood Massacre Site

By Edward Era Barbacena

After two hours of deliberation, a jury in Gainesville, Florida, convicted David Emanuel, 62, on all counts for committing hate crimes for his racially motivated attack on a group of Black men who were surveying land along a public road in Rosewood, Florida.

On March 15, Emanuel was charged with willfully intimidated of the victims, F.D.D., and attempted to injure and intimidate F.D.D. through the use Emanuel’s vehicle, because of F.D.D.’s race and color and because F.D.D. was using a public facility. Emanuel was also charged for willfully intimidating and attempting to intimidate five additional victims, through the use of Emanuel’s vehicle because of the victims’ race and color and because the victims were using a public facility.  According to the indictment, all six victims were Black males who were surveying land owned by one of the victims at the time of the offenses.

Evidence at trial proved that on Sept. 6, 2022, Emanuel found the victims surveying land adjacent to a public roadway near the location of the 1923 Rosewood Massacre. When the defendant came upon the victims, who were on the public roadway, he shouted racial slurs and expletives at them, including “[racial slur] get out of these woods” before driving a pickup truck directly at the group, nearly striking one of them. At trial, one witness testified that Emanuel admitted that he “came at those [expletives],” and that he “would have [expletive]d up all those Black [expletive]. Video evidence showed that after he was arrested, Emanuel complained that he was “getting treated like this [expletive] over a [expletive] [racial slur].” One witness testified that the defendant came “within inches” of striking one of the victims and that one victim, “nearly lost his life that day.” No victims suffered physical injury as a result of the defendant’s racially motivated attack.

“This defendant is being held accountable for intimidating a group of men and weaponizing his vehicle to attack them,” said Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. “As we marked 100 years since the horrific 1923 Rosewood Massacre, this verdict should send a strong message that violent, racially motivated conduct will not be tolerated in our society. The Justice Department is committed to aggressively enforcing our federal civil rights laws.”

“Despicable, hate-fueled crimes such as these have no place in our state or country,” said U.S. Attorney Jason R. Coody for the Northern District of Florida. “The violence directed toward these victims, based solely on their race, is abhorrent and will not be tolerated. With the dedicated assistance of our law enforcement partners, we will continue to aggressively investigate and prosecute civil rights violations to ensure justice for those victimized by hate.”

“Horrific acts of hate-motivated violence like this are devastating to families and communities,” said Assistant Director Luis Quesada of the FBI’s Criminal Investigative Division. “The FBI is fiercely committed to investigating civil rights violations and holding perpetrators accountable.”

The FBI Jacksonville Field Office and Gainesville Resident Agency investigated the case, with assistance from the Levy County Sheriff’s Office.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Kaitlin Weiss and Frank Williams for the Northern District of Florida and Trial Attorney Laura-Kate Bernstein of the Civil Rights Division’s Criminal Section are prosecuting the case.

The Philippines, though has become relatively safe after the Duterte administration had cleaned up the different streets of almost all cities, still there are few horrendous crimes are taking place.

There are horrific crimes of murders and rapes of teens and culprits for some reasons are visayan construction workers.  This is one of the leading causes of discrimination against the Visayan people

Police have arrested on Thursday, July 27, a visayan construction worker tagged for the murder of a 17-year-old student here.

Col. Alexander Lorenzo, chief of the local police force, led the operation that resulted in the capture of the 29-year old man, the prime suspect in the killing of Loella Jaganas Acaylar, a Grade 11 student at the Culianan National High School.

"The suspect is a construction worker and a resident of Pasobolong. Furthermore, the suspect was positively identified by an eyewitness," Lorenzo said without further elaborating.

He said the police have interrogated the alleged killer to determine the motive of the killing.

Acaylar was reported missing after she failed to come home Tuesday, July 25. Her family said the victim went to a friend's house to return a dress she had borrowed. Her body was discovered the next day by civilians in a bushy area in Pasobolong.

Her bags and other personal items were also found near the body. It was not immediately known whether the victim was raped or not until the results of the post-mortem examination are completed.

Lauren and Jacob Maloberti are charged with criminal homicide, murder in the first degree, endangering the welfare of children, aggravated assault, and criminal conspiracy.

By Edward Era Barbacena

Another innocent child murdered by abusive white American adults and this time by adaptive parents.

Charges have been filed against the adoptive mother of a 5-year-old boy and the mother’s husband after the child’s death in February. Officials say the pair was being investigated for severe child abuse that led to the death of Landon Maloberti.

“Landon had blunt force trauma to his head and neck, blunt force trauma to his torso, and blunt force trauma to his extremities,” said Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole Ziccarelli.

According to the criminal complaint, Lauren and her husband, Jacob Maloberti, a corrections officer at Fayette State Correctional Center, waited an entire day after severely injuring Landon to take him to the hospital themselves on January 30. The hospital staff told police Lauren showed no urgency when they arrived, and said Lauren told them Landon was “wobbly from COVID a month prior.”

A doctor at Children’s Hospital said they should have called 911 immediately, as Landon had suffered three brain bleeds and that his brain was “obliterated.”

Police said he had multiple bruises on his body, could not breathe on his own, and had rotational head trauma consistent with severe child abuse.

Police interviewed Landon’s siblings who they say told them Landon was the only one their mom spanked because “he does not learn his lesson.” Siblings allegedly told police their mother would spank Landon with her open hand, a wooden spoon, or use a spray bottle.

The criminal complaint states one child told police their mother “gets more angry” with Landon while she spanked him, and would send the children upstairs. They told police they could hear Landon cry.

Police also said Lauren’s former coworkers reported that she “hated” the boy and that he was “hard to love.”

According to the criminal complaint, texts between the Malobertis from April of 2022 until February of this year were “full of disdain” for Landon.

Police said Landon’s maternal grandmother, who is also a relative of Lauren, did not notice any signs of abuse until April of 2022, when Lauren no longer let her see Landon, saying Lauren told her “he was bad.” The grandmother said Lauren didn’t respond when she asked to see Landon over the holidays. She also told police Lauren complained that Landon would tell the grandmother he loved her but wouldn’t say the same to her.

Neighbors did not want to go on camera but told Channel 11′s Andrew Havranek they were stunned.

“I’m flabbergasted by that. I don’t know. That’s really horrible,” one neighbor said.

After Landon’s death, the family raised more than $5,000 on GoFundMe for his funeral.

Investigators said they will be looking into that as their investigation continues.

“There’s no question when you see a child so young go through so much, whether you’re a parent or not, you can really sympathize with what he must have experienced,” Ziccarelli said.

The Malobertis are due in court on August 8.

Trans-Identified Male Found Guilty of Rape In Guernsey, Defense Argued Victim Was “Transphobic”

Trans-Identified Male Found Guilty of Rape In Guernsey, Defense Argued Victim Was “Transphobic”

By Edward Era Barbacena

A 19-year-old trans-identified male broke down in tears after a Guernsey Royal Court jury unanimously found him guilty of rape on July 28. Despite the serious crime, Freddie Christian Trenchard, also known as Alyssa Christine Trenchard, was released on bail pending sentencing.

Trenchard, who was born male but identifies as a “trans femme,” was first reported to police in February of last year, though the crime occurred in the summer of 2021.

The assault is said to have been committed after Trenchard invited the victim to his home in the small island community.

Despite testimony from the victim in which she details crying throughout the attack and screaming “no,” Trenchard’s defense argued that no intercourse occurred and even accused the victim of being motivated by transphobia.

Trenchard was released into the community until sentencing, which will take place at a yet-unspecified date later this year.

A representative for Guernsey Women’s Rights Network (WRN) who attended the court proceedings told Reduxx that the sexual attack was described by legal professionals as having been committed by a “transgender female” with “his penis.”

Jane Roper explained how Trenchard was referred to with feminine pronouns and the honorific term “miss,” even on occasions where the crime was being referenced. Roper said it was “bizarre” to hear statements such as, “Miss Trenchard then penetrated [the complainant] with her penis,” and, “Miss Trenchard then ejaculated on [the complainant’s] back.”

“Trenchard hasn’t so much as legally changed his name – let alone undergone any surgery,” Roper said. Initially the presiding judge had described Trenchard as a “transgender male,” but would later apologize to the rapist for doing so.

“The judge was sent a message asking the defendant what he would like to be described as, and then actually apologized to him and told the court that Trenchard would like to be described as a ‘transgender female’. In her opening statements the judge said the alleged crime occurred ‘when the defendant was biologically male,'” she added.

“It was a truly bizarre experience to witness the court jumping through hoops for this man. As a woman, that felt really shocking, especially as we had all sat through the complainant’s harrowing oral evidence detailing the rape,” Roper remarked.

Reduxx reached out to Guernsey Police, who confirmed Trenchard was recorded as a “woman” at the time of his arrest, in accordance with his gender identity.

With a population of just 64,000 people and a median age of 40, Guernsey has an extremely low crime rate, and the rape would have constituted one of the more serious incidents on the Channel island.

While it has a strong economic and cultural connection to Britain, Guernsey is not in the United Kingdom and is considered effectively independent.

According to his social media, Trenchard began identifying as transgender and using the name Alyssa in April of 2020, just one year before the rape took place.

On Facebook, Trenchard has listed his gender as “female” and on his TikTok account, he describes himself as “trans femme.”

Trenchard has posted several videos on TikTok, using hashtags such as #trans and #transisbeautiful. In one of his most recent videos, Trenchard confesses to becoming sexually aroused when someone calls him “miss,” the same term he requested to be addressed by during the trial.

A New York judge has sentenced a Florida woman to more than four years in prison for swindling a Holocaust survivor out of his life savings after meeting him on a dating website.

Peaches Stergo, 36, was sentenced Thursday, according to a news release from the US Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of New York. She had been charged six months earlier with one count of wire fraud for bilking the 87-year-old victim out of $2.8 million.

Prosecutors said Stergo and the victim met on the website about seven years ago. Over the next four and a half years, Stergo asked the victim to deposit money into her account for a variety of fraudulent reasons, such as paying lawyers to release a fake injury settlement.

According to prosecutors, Stergo used the money to live a life of luxury. She purchased a home in a gated community in Florida, took vacations at hotels such as the Ritz Carlton, and bought tens of thousands of dollars worth of designer clothing, the release stated.

In a text message to her real-life significant other after the scam was over, Stergo said she was unwilling to earn money through lawful employment, writing, “I don’t want to work … it’s too hard,” the release stated.

The victim only learned of Stergo’s scam after he confided in his son that his life savings had gone to her after she promised she would pay him back, CNN reported this year. The victim then stopped writing checks.

As a result of Stergo’s scams, the victim lost his apartment.

US Attorney Damian Williams, who prosecuted the case, said in the release, “(Stergo) used the millions of dollars in fraud proceeds to live a life of luxury at the victim’s expense. But she did not get away with it.”

US District Judge Edgardo Ramos, who sentenced Stergo, noted her behavior was “unspeakably cruel’ and motivated by ‘greed,”’ the release stated.

Ann Marie Fitz, Stergo’s defense attorney, said in a statement to CNN, “The government sought a 96-month sentence in this case and, considering the circumstances, we think it was fair that the court imposed 51 months, which is the low-end of the applicable Guidelines range. Ms. Stergo has expressed remorse for her actions and will make every effort to repay the restitution in this case.”

In addition to her time in prison, Stergo is ordered to pay $2,830,775 in restitution and will forfeit the same amount, along with her Florida property and over 100 luxury items she purchased.

Mass shooting again in the United States leaves 5 people injured in Seattle

At least five people were shot after a gunman fired 'dozens and dozens' of rounds during a community outreach event at a Safeway store in Seattle on Friday night

The incident occurred in the Rainer Beach section of the city. The victims are four males and one female, Seattle Police Chief Adrian Diaz said in a media briefing.

Two are in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center and two are stable, one was treated at the scene and swiftly released.

Diaz said the shooting began in the parking lot of the store close to a King Donut. The chief did not say if it was a targeted attack.

Photos from the scene show at least 50 evidence tags on the ground, reports KIRO7.

There are no reports of a suspect being in custody.

A video posted from the scene showed police officers attending to a victim who was shot inside of the store.

The gunfire broke out during a an event being held by the Seattle Community Safety Initiative which seeks to create safe spaces for citizens in the crime ridden city.

'They give out supplies, they give out free food, they play music. It keeps a festive and peaceful and safe environment and somebody just opened fire on the event,' a local activist told KING5.

At the scene, Seattle's Democratic Mayor Bruce Harrell told the media that there were 'too many guns in the wrong places and in the wrong hands.'

Earlier this year, out-of-control crime in the Rainier Beach-area forced the United States Postal Service (USPS) to pause deliveries to an entire zip code for a week.

Around 900 residents in the 98118 zip code did not receive their mail as delivery services were halted due to mail theft and 'equipment security concerns'.

They were told to pick up their mail from the local post office and stood in long queues of up to an hour while delivery services were paused for a week before the ban was lifted.

It comes as Seattle continues to experience rampant crime, drug issues and battles huge rates of homelessness.

Seattle's violent crime rate is at a 15-year high, based on its annual crime statistics from 2022, with 5,642 cases reported- including 52 murders, 321 rapes, 1,759 robberies and 3,510 aggravated assaults.

And property crime is the highest it has been since 2008 with 44,408 crimes recorded including 8,678 for burglary and 28,627 for larceny-theft.

This year, there have been 16 murders, 103 rape offences, 429 robberies and 925 aggravated assaults.

While 2,564 cases of burglary and 7,110 larceny-theft cases have been recorded so far in 2023.

Mayor Harrell who was sworn in January 2022, is also battling a drug problem and homeless crisis with a growing number of homeless encampments.

Man Who Murdered His Cousin And Raped Her Corpse Now Seeking Transfer To Women’s Prison Under New “Trans Law”

Man Who Murdered His Cousin And Raped Her Corpse Now Seeking Transfer To Women’s Prison Under New “Trans Law”

By Edward Era Barbacena

A sadistic man who bludgeoned his cousin to death before sexually desecrating her corpse has requested transfer to a women’s prison under Spain’s new “trans law.” Lorena Robaina, formerly known as Jonathan de Jesús, is currently serving 38 years in prison for the sick crime.

Robaina, 26, was first arrested in June of 2018, four days after the mutilated corpse of his cousin, Vanessa Santana, was found in her mother’s Betancuria-area home. Robaina had reportedly waited until his aunt had left for work before entering the residence and finding Santana in her room. Both Robaina and Santana were 21 years of age at the time.

Using extreme violence intended to target vital areas, Robaina bludgeoned Santana almost three dozen times with a hammer, focusing a great deal of the blows on her skull. Robaina continued to beat Santana even after she fell to the ground, and went on to use a belt to strangle her.

After the young woman was deceased, Robaina ejaculated on and sexually defiled her corpse.

During the trial, Santana’s mother said she had returned home from work and called for her daughter, but when the young woman didn’t respond, she went upstairs to find Santana’s body in a “pool of blood” in the hallway. Santana’s remains had been wrapped in a blanket, and the belt Robaina had used to strangle her was still around her neck.

The young woman’s face had been destroyed to the point she was almost “unrecognizable.”

Robaina was immediately considered a suspect in the crime as neighbors reported he hadn’t seemed emotionally impacted by the death of his cousin. Santana’s mother also noted that he had a history of sexually deranged behavior towards his cousin, including having attacked her in the past and stolen her clothes.

Santana’s mother claimed that her daughter had never reported Robaina to police out of sympathy for him.

“They grew up together, he was always at my house. I took care of him a lot … [but] there was a moment when he attacked her and [Vanessa] didn’t want to report him because he was her cousin and she loved him,” Santana’s mother claimed during the proceedings.

Santana’s mother had raised Robaina as her own after his biological mother had died during childbirth, and he and Santana were very close. The victim had reportedly invited Robaina out for a walk and lunch just days before he would murder her.

Robaina’s relatives revealed that he was emotionally and sexually disturbed, and had extreme trouble with women.

“He is a very short person with a lot of complexes. That’s why he has always behaved like that towards women, harassing them. Just seeing how he looked at them was quite repulsive,” one of Santana’s cousins said about Robaina.

Disturbingly, Robaina declared a transgender identity almost immediately after the trial commenced and attempted to use his gender identity as a mitigating factor in an effort to have certain charges dropped. In hopes of peeling 15 years off of the potential sentence, Robaina’s lawyers began to argue that there was no sexual motivation to the crime because Robaina was a woman who was sexually attracted to men.

The defense asserted that Robaina had acted in an “outburst” caused by a mental health break, and that the murder had not been premeditated or sexual.

Santana’s cousin, Nayara, refuted Robaina’s claims to the press, slamming him as a liar.

“Of course no one believes that it was an outburst. [Robaina] sneaked into my cousin’s house that night with some keys that he had previously stolen from my aunt. He used gloves so as not to leave a trace. He had come with ropes, two knives and a hammer. When he finished, he turned the bloody mattress over to hide the stains. He put the bloody clothes in a bag and threw them in an uninhabited house. That’s not a run-in,” she said.

While in custody during his trial, Robaina had reportedly been permitted to wear feminine clothes in the prison, and was allowed to shower separately from the men.

Robaina’s attempts to reduce his sentence using his gender identity were ultimately unsuccessful, and he was handed a 38-year prison term, just two years less than what the prosecution had been asking for both the murder charge and the sexual aggravation.

Now, Robaina is seeking a transfer to a women’s prison on the heels of Spain passing its new “trans law,” one which massively broadened the scope of protections and privileges for those who claim a transgender identity.

The controversial law, passed on February 16, granted anyone over the age of 16 the right to change the gender reflected on their official documents without any social or medical proof of transitioning. While women’s rights advocates expressed concern with the result the law would have on males being given access to women’s spaces, including domestic violence shelters and prisons, the law went into effect on May 2.

Just 12 days after the law was passed, the director of the prison Robaina is being held at signed an internal order requiring staff use Robaina’s new “feminine” name when addressing him. It was also decreed that Robaina be provided a private cell and private searches.

As per Spain’s Antena3, Robaina is also requesting a transfer to the female estate, something Santana’s family had expressed concerns about years ago.

In 2021, after Robaina had declared his transgender identity, Santana’s family spoke to press and warned that “his sex change could cause him to end up in a women’s prison,” adding: “Imagine what that would be for the prisoners, who are real women. Forcing them to live with a confessed murderer of women.”

According to Okdiario, the Department of the Interior has stated Robaina will be allowed to move to a women’s prison after he develops “a more feminine phenotype.”

Spain has become internationally ridiculed for its recent move towards implanting lenient laws surrounding gender identity. Feminist advocates have noted that little consideration has been made for the way in which the law will impact women and girls.

Last year, Reduxx reported that a man in Catalonia managed to avoid sex-specific domestic violence charges after changing his gender identity. The man and his female partner had been together for 11 years, but their relationship began to deteriorate after he expressed a desire to wear lingerie in the bedroom and take estrogen.

Having no desire to participate in the man’s obvious fetish, the woman moved into another room in the residence, only to be terrorized by her ex-partner who would go on to sexually and physically abuse her. After police became involved, the woman learned he had already changed his legal gender marker, making it impossible for him to be charged with the sex-specific crime of gender-based violence.

In Spain, gender-based violence charges provide the female victim specific protections and resolutions which can impact divorce or separation proceedings, custody, and other important factors.

As her abuser was legally recognized as female, the victim was not afforded any specific protections, including a protection order, and was forced to choose between homelessness and returning to the residence with her abuser.

Tamara Banks and Christopher Hoeb were indicted for murder, involuntary manslaughter, and two counts of child endangering

By Edward Era Barbacena

Another news regarding american white couple being responsible for the death of their own child.

These cases of murders are on the rise.

The biological parents of a 4-year-old girl “denied her proper nutrition and medical care, which ultimately led to her death,” according to Clermont County Prosecutor Mark Tekulve.

Tamara Banks and Christopher Hoeb were indicted for murder, involuntary manslaughter, and two counts of child endangering, a news release said.

Banks and Hoeb, the girl’s sole caretakers, found her unresponsive on January 21, 2022, and called 911, according to the release.

The prosecutor’s office says medics were able to revive the 4-year-old but she remained unresponsive.

Tekulve says she was taken to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and was ultimately determined to be brain dead.

The girl, referred to as K.H. in the press release from the prosecutor’s office, was taken off life support on January 24, 2022, and passed away.

“Due to the neglect and abuse by her parents, K.H. suffered for a majority of her short life,” Tekulve said.

He says Banks and Hoeb fed the 4-year-old mostly Mountain Dew through a baby bottle and, as a result, her teeth rotted and she had almost none left.

The coroner ruled her cause of death as diabetic ketoacidosis.

“Essentially, K.H. had diabetes that was left undiagnosed and untreated over a long period of time.” the prosecutor said.

Both Banks and Hoeb are in the Clermont County Jail.

American white supremacist of California calling for the mass murder of Jews arrested

American white supremacist of California calling for the mass murder of Jews arrested

Ryan Scott Bradford was affiliated with the "racially motivated violent extremist group" called the San Fernando Valley Peckerwoods.

By Edward Era Barbacena

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has arrested an alleged white supremacist calling for the mass murder of Jews following a joint task force raid of his Reseda home.

"As alleged, this convicted felon affiliated with a violent white supremacist group who espouses horrific acts of violence against Jews appears to be manufacturing firearms and possessing an improvised explosive device," said United States Attorney Martin Estrada. "The potential danger to the community cannot be overstated. We will continue to investigate this matter to ensure that this defendant is held accountable for his crimes, and to keep our community safe from acts of violence motivated by racist and hateful ideology."

According to the United States Department of Justice, Ryan Scott Bradford was affiliated with the "racially motivated violent extremist group" called the San Fernando Valley Peckerwoods.

The Peckerwoods originated in California state prisons and have been part of racially motivated violence, drug and illegal firearms trafficking and fraud.

"The defendant is a self-described anti-Semite associated with a white supremacist group which espouses the hatred of Jews and other minorities," said Donald Alway, the Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI's Los Angeles Field Office. "Hateful rhetoric that crosses the line into violence will get the attention of law enforcement and those who engage in such extremism will be held accountable should they act upon their violent rhetoric."

Inside his Reseda home, federal and local law enforcement agents found several firearm parts allowing a gun to be converted from semi to fully automatic, a plethora of ghost guns and an apparent improvised explosive device, commonly referred to as an IED. Additionally, they found two 3-D printers, one of which had swastikas pained on it, various forms of Nazi Propaganda and over 100 rounds of ammunition.

Federal prosecutors said he was prohibited from possessing ammunition because of a 2012 burglary conviction.

Law enforcement first learned of Bradford after receiving a criminal complaint alleging he used online forums to post racist remarks against Jewish people, which includes calling for mass murder and genocide of Jews.

Investigators first established his connection to the Peckerwoods after discovering an Amazon account with the username "Peck Erwood" and a woodpecker avatar connected to the racist extremist group. He also allegedly used usernames with Peckerwood references on the online messaging app Telegram.

At his home investigators found a calendar marked with a handwritten note stating: "New Year's Resolution: Take over the world — save Aryan race *Bake every single Jew*"

According to the criminal complaint, Bradford is also accused of coordinating the distribution of methamphetamine.

"Dangerous individuals that conspire to distribute synthetic drugs, such as methamphetamine, are driving addiction and death in our communities," said DEA Los Angeles Special Agent in Charge Bill Bodner.

Bradford faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison for a drug conspiracy charge and up to 15 years for an ammunition possession charge.

American man of Florida charged with 1993 murder of 12-year-old girl after DNA result

Jennifer Odom, 12, was abducted by Jeffrey Norman Crum and found dead in 1993.

Another cold case of murder of a child solved involving a white man using DNA test

A Florida white  man has been charged with murder in the 1993 death of 12-year-old Jennifer Odom, a Tampa-area girl who had disappeared after getting off her school bus, authorities said Thursday.

A grand jury indicted Jeffrey Norman Crum, 61, on charges of murder, kidnapping and sexual battery in connection with Odom’s killing, Bill Gladson, state attorney for Florida’s 5th judicial circuit, said in a news conference.

Crum has been in prison since 2019, serving two life sentences for sexual battery in a separate case, according to state prison records. CNN has not been able to identify legal representation for him.

Investigators identified Crum as a suspect in Odom’s killing after noticing significant similarities between the circumstances of her death and the details of a separate case in which Crum was identified as a suspect through DNA analysis, Hernando County Sheriff Al Nienhuis said.

Odom was abducted in February 1993 after stepping off her school bus in Pasco County north of Tampa, according to the sheriff’s office. Her body was found in a field six days later in neighboring Hernando County, and it appeared she had been brutally attacked, Nienhuis said.

“We’re not exactly sure how long her abductor kept her captive, or when exactly the murder took place, but we are relatively confident the murder took place in that field,” Nienhuis said.

Odom’s disappearance sparked a manhunt in which several law enforcement agencies in the Tampa area were searching for a blue truck that the child’s classmates saw as she walked away from the bus, the sheriff said.

“Dozens and dozens, maybe even hundreds of items were tested and retested every time a new technology came out, thinking that little glimmer of hope that we might be able to get that smoking gun,” Nienhuis said.

A break in the case happened in 2015, when investigators used DNA analysis to narrow down Crum as a suspect in a different case that happened about 13 months before Odom’s killing, the sheriff said. In that case, a teenage girl was attacked and sexually assaulted after getting off a school bus in Pasco County. She was left for dead but survived, he said.

Investigators noticed the circumstances of the two attacks were “almost identical,” the sheriff said.

“So (Crum) quickly, quickly, almost instantaneously, became our number one suspect in the Jennifer Odom case,” Nienhuis said.

After identifying Crum as a suspect in Odom’s killing, investigators worked for years to gather enough evidence against Crum, ultimately presenting the case to the state attorney to pursue charges against him, Nienhuis said.

“I have confidence that we have the right person and that we have the right aggravators, in this particular case, to treat it as a death penalty case,” Gladson said Thursday.

More than 40,000 year old worm in Siberian permafrost brought back to life

Scientists have revived a worm that was frozen 46,000 years ago — at a time when woolly mammoths, sabre-toothed tigers and giant elks still roamed the Earth

By Edward Era Barbacena

Scientists have revived a worm that was frozen 46,000 years ago — at a time when woolly mammoths, sabre-toothed tigers and giant elks still roamed the Earth.

The roundworm, of a previously unknown species, survived 40 meters (131.2 feet) below the surface in the Siberian permafrost in a dormant state known as cryptobiosis, according to Teymuras Kurzchalia, professor emeritus at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden and one of the scientists involved in the research.

Organisms in a cryptobiotic state can endure the complete absence of water or oxygen and withstand high temperatures, as well as freezing or extremely salty conditions. They remain in a state “between death and life,” in which their metabolic rates decrease to an undetectable level, Kurzchalia explained.

“One can halt life and then start it from the beginning. This a major finding,” he said, adding that other organisms previously revived from this state had survived for decades rather than millennia.

Five years ago, scientists from the Institute of Physicochemical and Biological Problems in Soil Science in Russia found two roundworm species in the Siberian permafrost.

One of the researchers, Anastasia Shatilovich, revived two of the worms at the institute by simply rehydrating them with water, before taking around 100 worms to labs in Germany for further analysis, transporting them in her pocket.

After thawing the worms, the scientists used radiocarbon analysis of the plant material in the sample to establish that the deposits had not been thawed since between 45,839 and 47,769 years ago.

But still, they didn’t know whether the worm was a known species. Eventually, genetic analysis conducted by scientists in Dresden and Cologne showed that these worms belonged to a novel species, which researchers named Panagrolaimus kolymaenis.

Researchers also found that the P. kolymaenis shared with C. elegans — another organism often used in scientific studies — “a molecular toolkit” that could allow it to survive cryptobiosis. Both organisms produce a sugar called trehalose, possibly enabling them to endure freezing and dehydration.

“To see that the same biochemical pathway is used in a species which is 200, 300 million years away, that’s really striking,” said Philipp Schiffer, research group leader of the Institute of Zoology at the University of Cologne and one of the scientists involved in the study. “It means that some processes in evolution are deeply conserved.”

And, Schiffer added, there are other actionable insights which can be gleaned by studying these organisms.

“By looking at and analyzing these animals, we can maybe inform conservation biology, or maybe even develop efforts to protect other species, or at least learn what to do to protect them in these extreme conditions that we have now,” he told CNN.

San Francisco Police Shooting Video Reveals That They Put This Man To Sleep After Tense Argument

San Francisco Police Shooting Video Reveals That They Put This Man To Sleep After Tense Argument

By Edward Era Barbacena

San Francisco police confirm an officer shot and killed a man in the city’s Bayview District on Wednesday.

At a news conference, Officer Robert Rueca said plainclothes officers were arresting a male suspect in the area at around 2:53 p.m. when a second man, unrelated to the arrest, engaged with the officers.

More officers arrived and, at some point, the second man was shot by police, according to SFPD.

An investigation is underway into a deadly police shooting on Wednesday in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood, according to police.

Rueca said uniformed officers in a marked police vehicle arrived at the scene and that the second man was possibly armed with a firearm.

Police fired upon the man who was struck by gunfire. Medics then rendered aid, and police said the item the man was armed with was seized from the scene.

Community activists said Wednesday evening that the person who was shot was someone who kept to himself and may have had mental health issues. They added they are trying to understand how the incident happened.

“When I arrived, the only thing I seen laying by the body was a tall can like a pill bottle. That’s all I’ve seen. Several of our community members again, who watched SFPD shoot that man. They said they did not see a gun, they did not see a weapon pulled out,” said community advocate PJ Iulio.

“That’s where the confusion is right now. If they were here arresting someone else, where did this altercation come in with them and the other fella?” Iulio added.

SFPD said it will host a town hall to release more details in the next 10 days. Meanwhile, the D.A.’s office is investigating the shooting.

Missing millionaire crypto influencer found dismembered in suitcase

Missing millionaire crypto influencer found dismembered in suitcase

Fernando Alejandro Pérez Algaba had reportedly amassed numerous debts before his death.

By Edward Era Barbacena

Police have launched a murder investigation after the dismembered remains of missing millionaire Fernando Pérez Algaba, 41, were discovered by a group of children in Argentina over the weekend.

The grisly case came to light after the kids found a red suitcase filled with body parts while playing by a stream in the town of Ingeniero Budge, Buenos Aires Province, on Sunday, Jam Press reported.

The children’s parents notified the Buenos Aires police, who inspected the package and reportedly found the victim’s legs and forearm inside, discovering another whole arm in the stream.

On Wednesday, authorities discovered the missing head and torso, El País reported.

The body parts were cleanly amputated, suggesting the work of a professional, local media reported.

Meanwhile, a subsequent autopsy revealed that the victim had been shot three times before the dismemberment.

Police identified Algaba by his fingerprints and also by distinctive tattoos on the body parts. The entrepreneur had been declared missing since last Tuesday.

The businessman had accumulated millions renting luxury vehicles and selling cryptocurrency, which he frequently advertised to his 900,000 followers on Instagram.

The influencer, who lived in Barcelona, Spain, had reportedly been staying in Argentina for a week prior to his alleged murder.

Algaba had reportedly rented an apartment and was supposed to return the keys on July 19, but failed to show up or answer the phone, according to testimony by the property owner.

Police have arrested one suspect in connection with Algaba’s death. And while the motive behind the alleged murder remains unclear, authorities suspect that the influencer was killed over his numerous debts.

This marked a tragic end for the businessman, known by friends as Lechuga (lettuce), who started working at the age of 14.

“I started with a bicycle and a box and I started selling sandwiches,” said Algaba, who reportedly graduated to buying vehicles to repair and resell.

The budding entrepreneur’s dedication allegedly paid off, as he had a large warehouse full of high-end cars, motorcycles and jet skis by the time he was 24.

Algaba subsequently founded a luxury car and jet ski rental firm in Miami before picking up and moving to Barcelona earlier this year.

During his final years, Algaba was involved in trading cryptocurrency from an office in Buenos Aires with over 25 employees.

However, the moneymaker’s seeming rags-to-riches story was not all that it seemed.

Algaba had racked up “irrecoverable” debts with Argentina’s tax agency while his company, “Motors Lettuce SRL,” began bouncing checks less than a year after its January 2018 incorporation.

Algaba had also left a note on his phone claiming that he’d lost a lot of money investing in crypto, La Nacion reported.

And Algaba’s troubles weren’t limited to the business sphere.

He had reportedly run afoul of the Barra Bravas, a violent gang heavily involved in Argentina’s soccer scene, which reportedly demanded that he pay them a $40,000 loan.

“If something happens to me, everyone is already warned,” he wrote in a message.

Algaba’s brother Rodolfo Pérez Algaba said he wasn’t sure if his deceased sibling was involved with the criminal ring, but insists that he was “not a scammer” as many had allegedly claimed, local media reported.

The victim’s brother claimed that Algaba was simply a car salesman who “did not do well” in Bitcoin.

Rodolfo also noted that when he was 17, their father died and left an inheritance that Algaba used to start his business, hinting that the influencer didn’t go from poor to posh as he seemed to suggest.

Rodolfo, who reportedly had not seen the vehicle hawker for three months following an argument, claimed that Algaba “was under psychiatric treatment for an anxiety disorder.”

Rodolfo ultimately hopes that authorities can apprehend his brother’s killer.

“I’ve been here for three days and hardly sleep, thinking, breaking my head, how could this happen,” he declared. “But I’m not going to sit still, I’m not going to do justice with my own hands, but I hope that justice will be done.”

The Pentagon refused to pay for the body of a service member who died in the withdrawal of Afghanistan from being flown to her final resting place, with the family forced to fundraise $60,000.

Marine Corps Sgt Nicole Gee died during the Afghanistan withdrawal in 2021 and was transported to Roseville, California for a ceremony but the Pentagon then denied the families request to move her to her final resting place, Arlington National Cemetery.

Her family, one of the 13 Gold Star families in the U.S. withdrawn from Afghanistan, were forced to fund the transportation of her body to her final resting place.

The family desperately searched for funding, before a non-profit finally stepped in to cover the $60,000 costs.

The DOD new policy was part of the National Defense Authorization Act which allows the DOD to decline transporting service members.

Sydney man sentenced for having sex with a male sheep

George Danakis sentenced over St Marys High School bestiality and break-in offences in Sydney's west after he was caught on security cameras

By Edward Era Barbacena

George Danakis, 44, had been awake for five days when he was caught with his pants down by officers after having sex with a male sheep at St Marys High School in Sydney's west in May 2022.

Teaching staff had caught him on CCTV after they suspected that someone had been breaking into their milking shed after hours.

Police found Danakis with his pants down sexually engaging with the male sheep while a female goat was observed to be in a state of shock beside them on May 18.

Danakis pleaded guilty at Penrith District Court to damaging property, bestiality, possessing bestiality material, break and enter and possessing an unauthorised firearm before he was sentenced to over three years behind bars.

Footage that the teaching staff had compiled was used as evidence against Danakis during his trial.

The court was told that he was recorded herding two goats into a gated area on May 6 before he was filmed a week later walking around the same shed naked from the waist down.

When officers found Danakis 11 days later he told them that he was in the shed at the time looking for his phone and that he had removed his pants to urinate.

A phone belonging to Danakis was found in the sheep paddock on June 24, but it only added to his troubles when police searched it.

Content pertaining to bestiality was stored on the phone alongside a photo of him holding a pump action shotgun which he did not have permits for.

Danakis' methamphetamine use leading up to his arrest, combined with his affinity for enjoying 'sheep on the side', led to 'the state of the mind in which he did what he did', his defence lawyer told the court on Tuesday.

Danakis displayed 'sexual deviance', the court was told, which made him lose all inhibitions.

His lawyer shared that Danakis had told his psychiatrist that he was only attracted to animals while under the influence of the drug because it increased his sex dive.

Danakis did eventually admit to his psychiatrist that he was 'pretty much into bestiality' after seeing it on the internet, but that he still liked women.

The court heard that Danakis was diagnosed with schizophrenia and that he had stopped taking his prescribed medication in the weeks before his actions.

However it was agreed between the prosecution and defence that this was not a 'causal' factor toward offending, and that his 'paraphilic disorder' of attraction toward animals and his substance abuse were key factors.

In determining an appropriate sentencing for the crimes, Judge Sophia Beckett cited a lack of case law which could be referred to and the curiosity of the crimes.
