Hong Kong Protests in the Philippines
Hong Kong Pro-Democracy citizens are not alone in their battle to stand against the communist authoritarianism. The world is now standing behind Hong Kong to fight to preserve democracy. The Pro-Democracy citizens of the Philippines are now joining the significant battle.
Makati, Philippines - A group of Filipino-Chinese were confronted by a Chinese national from the mainland as they held a solidarity protests for Hong Kong Pro-Democracy protesters in front of the Chinese embassy earlier today.
So far no trouble was reported after the unidentified Chinese approached and gave a dirty finger to the group of Pro-Democracy proresters. The incident was captured by a journalist from a local online media company. It was posted on social media that earned ires among Filipinos denouncing the unacceptable and uncivilized behavior of the Chinese national who was not even from the Philippines.
This group decided to show their support for the brave people of Hong Kong who are resisting the encroachment of China. They also used umbrellas with a written message " Xi Jing Ping go away . " They also did the famous Hong Kong freedom chant slogans. So far the simple protest turned out to be peaceful and no riot police came to disperse them.
