Philippine Pro-communist Protests
Manila, Philippines - As the Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte commemorates the " Bonifacio day " at the Bonifacio monument in Caloocan city earlier today, a two small groups of pro-communist protesters held their counter demonstrations at the two major streets of Manila. The Kabattan ( youth) party list marched the streets of Carriedo and the members of Kilusang Mayo Uno ( May 1st movement ) held their nonsensical protest at the Mendiola.
The Kilusang Mayo Uno and the infamous Kabataan party list are some of the few legal fronts of the communist rebels - the Communist Party of the Philippines and the New People's Army that have been terrorizing the remote areas of the Philippines. The rebel groups and their legal fronts are very well supported by the opposition - the Liberal Party and the Yellow community.
The Kabattan party list frontliners rampantly carried different sorts of communist flags and one of them had a hammer and sickle on it. It is very ridiculous that some carried signs that reads " Kabataan, sumali sa NPA." ( Youth, join the NPA ) Really!? Most of the youth activists of this organization are students of different government funded universities that were brainwashed by their professors who are fanatic communist symphatisers.
The Kilusang Mayo on the other hand are a group of recruited laborers. They are the most active pro-communist protesters in the country and at the same time the most ignored. They have been protesting in the streets since the late 70s usually every 1st of May ( Labor day ) their demands are not that consistent and often misunderstood so that's why people are puzzled to what they're are fighting for.
Today they burned a three headed figure that has a head of US President Trump, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte and China's leader Xi Jing Ping. They referred to it as the " three headed monters. " They burned the figure infront of the image of Andress Bonifacio. Many of them were seen carrying hammers and suckles that are made of cardboard.
The protests made by these two pro-communist groups had caused heavy traffic
That upset the commuters. Many have jeered against them. So far no dispersal was done and no riots occurred.
It is absurd to know that Philippines is the only country that has an odd demonstration wherein protesters fight for the communist ideology while protesters from other countries particularly Hong Kong fight for the ideal Democracy.
