A white TSA agent was arrested Friday morning at Denver International Airport on suspicion of multiple counts of sexual assault on a child.
Matthew Paul Barnett, 33, of Thornton, is suspected of assaulting three young girls, according to the Adams County district attorney’s office.
The charges against Barnett are sexual assault on a child, sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust and sexual assault on a child as a pattern of abuse. He’s been charged with 12 counts, all felonies.
Barnett was fired Friday after his arrest.
“TSA does not tolerate illegal, unethical or immoral conduct,” according to a TSA statement. “This individual is no longer employed by TSA.”
He’ll be advised of the charges against him next week in Adams County Court, according to a news release.
