Paedophile Fillipino born again pastor of Caloocan arrested for raping 15-year-old Minor

Michael Moreno said that he didn't know that the victim was a minor

A pastor in Caloocan City, Philippines was arrested for allegedly raping a member of their church when she was still a minor

Pastor Michael Moreno was arrested at his home by virtue of an arrest warrant for acts of lasciviousness and rape.

According to the District Special Operations Unit of the Manila Police District (DSOU-MPD) who arrested Moreno, 2019 when the suspect allegedly raped the then 15-year-old member of his church.

"At first it was just touching, then there was a time when she (victim) woke up naked," according to police officer Major Edward Samonte 

Samonte added that the victim said that it was as if he was being given something to drink to make him lose consciousness.

Moreno denied that he sexually assaulted the victim.

"I don't deny that something happened to us because during the time we knew this girl we had a relationship," said Moreno.

The suspect also said that he was the victim's shoulder to cry on whenever she had a problem, so they fell in love with each other. He also said he did not know that the victim was a minor.

"When I found out (that she was a minor), it was too late for me to stay away. I avoided it," Moreno said.

Moreno said he thinks the victim was jealous of his former partner. He also said that he did not hide and that he knew that the the victim would press charges and that he was just waiting  to be arrested.
