By Edward Era Barbacena

Another dirty old white homosexual Catholic priest is now facing an embarrassing scandal after being accused of sexually molesting innocent young boys.

A high-profile priest has been charged with child sex offences allegedly committed more than 50 years ago.

Father David Lancini, who served for 49 years as the Catholic priest in the Townsville Diocese, in Far North Queensland, has been charged with eight counts of indecent treatment of boys under 14.

The charges relate to acts allegedly committed between 1969 and 1971.

It's understood the charges relate to one child who was living in Townsville at the time.

Lancini, 77, was charged on November 13.

A spokesperson for the Catholic Diocese of Townsville said Lancini 'strongly denies any involvement in the alleged offences'.

'Fr Dave Lancini is currently not involved in any public ministry until such time as the legal proceedings has concluded,' they said.

'The Diocese of Townsville has full confidence in the legal system.

'The Diocese of Townsville is committed to doing all it can to ensure victims of such abuse receive justice and healing.'

The priest was seen blessing the North Queensland Cowboys during their campaign to the NRL Grand Final in 2015.

He will face court in Townsville on December 5.

Lancini was ordained as a priest in August, 1972.

Asa Ellerup may have been involved during Rex Heuermann killing spree

By Edward Era Barbacena

DNA from the wife of suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann was found on the victims’ bodies, according to multiple reports.

Asa Ellerup, 59, has not been considered a suspect in the case, as prosecutors said she was out of town when the victims were killed.

However, investigators matched her DNA to samples collected from the victims’ bodies, sources told Newsday and ABC News. Cops took a cheek swab from Ellerup on July 13, the same day Heuermann was arrested.

Police also used DNA evidence to tie Heuermann to the murders, matching DNA from his cheek and his discarded pizza crust to DNA found on the victims’ remains.

Heuermann has been formally charged with the murders of three sex workers: Megan Waterman, Melissa Barthelemy and Amber Costello. He is also the prime suspect in the killing of a fourth woman, Maureen Brainard Barnes, but has not been charged in that case.

In 2010 and 2011, the bodies of 11 people were found on and near Gilgo Beach. Heuermann has not been publicly linked to the other seven victims.

Ellerup filed for divorce from Heuermann days after he was charged with the three murders. She has visited him at least once in Suffolk County Jail.

Prosecutors have said Ellerup was out of town when Waterman, Barthelemy and Costello were killed. She was in Iceland when Barthelemy disappeared in July 2009, Maryland when Waterman was seen on video with the suspected killer in June 2010, and Colorado when Costello disappeared in September 2010.

Investigators turned the couple’s Massapequa Park house inside out in their search for evidence over 12 days in July. Ellerup said neighbors wanted it torn down.

“The people in this neighborhood, they want this house gone,” she told the Daily News. “They want it bulldozed, you understand? They want it gone.”

Jameelah Elena Michl allegedly broke into his home and allegedly shot Michael Latt in the head

By Edward Era Barbacena

It wasn't police violence – it was a homeless California woman, authorities say.

Michael Latt, a 33-year-old Hollywood consultant and activist known for promoting social justice causes, died Monday after 36-year-old Jameelah Elena Michl allegedly broke into his home and allegedly shot him in the head, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The motive was not immediately clear.

Police say she broke into Latt's $800,000 one-bedroom apartment in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood east of Beverly Hills around 6 p.m. Monday.

Paramedics rushed Latt to a nearby hospital, but he died from his injuries, police said. They arrested Michl at the scene and also impounded her car.

Latt was the chief executive and chief financial officer of a marketing firm he founded called Lead With Love, where his stated goal was to "dedicate his career to being of service, supporting influential women and artists of color and utilizing storytelling, art and more to spark lasting change and bring hope, love and inspiration to communities."

Latt worked on films including "Fruitvale Station," about the Oakland police-involved shooting that killed Oscar Grant in 2009, and "Till," a biographical film about the mother of lynching victim Emmett Till, according to Lead With Love.

Latt, on his Instagram, has written about attending Black Lives Matter protests alongside Common over the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. He has also posted in support of Democratic political candidates, including Democratic Georgia Sens. Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock.

"Not enough change has happened since the 2020 Uprising," he wrote in June 2022. "We’ll continue to fight and stand up against police violence and White supremacy until true justice is real in this country."

Latt's mother, Sundance Institute executive Michelle Satter, wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, that her son "fell victim to a tragic act of violence."

Latt's website shows him pictured alongside public figures including the rapper and actor Common, Georgia progressive Stacey Abrams and U.S. Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

Latt comes from a well-connected Hollywood family. Satter is a founding director at the Sundance Institute, his father, David Latt, is a movie producer, and his brother is the head of talent at CAA, according to Deadline.

Michl was being held for $3 million bail on charges of murder, burglary and unlawful use of a firearm.

Neighbor Avarie Shevin told the local news station KTLA that Latt shared the apartment with his fiancée and their two pets, a cat and a dog.

"I can’t wrap my brain around what could’ve happened that caused him to be shot and killed," she told the station. "I keep picturing his face, and I cannot believe he has passed."

Latt's fiancée, Hannah Lovingood, posted to her own Instagram about the ordeal.

"My entire life has changed in a blink of an eye," she wrote. "My love has been taken from me so tragically. My best friend, confidant, fiancé. My love."

American lawyer of Oklahoma and client- turned- boyfriend arrested and charged with triple murder

American lawyer of Oklahoma and client- turned- boyfriend arrested and charged with triple murder

Keegan Harroz and Barry Titus II are facing the death penalty

By Edward Era Barbacena

PURE WHITE EVIL

A highly sought-after criminal defense attorney and a scheming evil white American in Oklahoma City, Keegan Harroz, was known for mounting a strong case on behalf of her clients. “She was someone who believed in you, even when you stumbled,” says Lisa Weiszmiller, who met Harroz in 2013. When Weiszmiller ended up in the hospital for back surgery, Harroz came to pick her up, got her medications at a pharmacy, took her home and cleaned her house.

But authorities say Harroz had a much darker side

On April 8, 2021, Harroz, 40, along with client-turned-lover Barry Titus II, 42, were arrested and charged with the premeditated triple murder of Titus’s former girlfriend Tiffany Eichor, 43, and Eichor’s parents — Jack, 65, and Evelynn “Kaye”  Chandler, 69 — on Sept. 7, 2019.

According to Okmulgee County authorities, Titus and Harroz broke into the family’s house in Beggs, Okla., and fatally shot Eichor, who had previously accused him of violence, and her parents in “a complicated murder plot.” Eichor, a former medical technician who briefly dated Titus after meeting him on Tinder in 2017, was killed to stop her from testifying against him at his upcoming trial for allegedly beating and attempting to strangle her in November of that year, and her parents died because they were witnesses, prosecutors claim.

Harroz and Titus have both pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder charges as well as burglary in the first-degree. If convicted, they face the death penalty.

Harroz seemed to be on the path to success. After graduating from Oklahoma City University School of Law, the Texas native worked as an assistant public defender before starting her own law firm in 2014.

But she also found herself on the wrong side of the law. In May of that year, she was charged with the domestic assault of her then husband, Nicholas Harroz, after allegedly kicking him in the face twice. She began representing Titus, a former crane operator, in 2018 for drug and firearm charges. She also represented him in the domestic assault and battery charge against him and a restraining order involving Eichor. When she began dating Titus, “her decision-making went down the tubes,” says David Bedford, Harroz’s ex-boyfriend and former law partner.

Authorities say that two months after Titus was arrested for domestic assault and battery on Eichor in Oct. 2018, Harroz asked one of her clients to plant what she described as methamphetamine — actually a bag of sugar — at the Chandler family’s house where Eichor also lived to discredit them. Eichor’s parents found the package and called the police — and then installed a security camera.

“Jack never knew what [Titus] might do,” says Jack’s colleague Darrel Spradlin. “I'd offered to give him a shotgun, but his wife wouldn't let any weapons in the house. He said, ‘I don't know what could happen’ so he put in a security system, with the cameras.”

One of Eichor’s sisters told authorities that she and her husband visited the family in March of 2019 and Eichor would not close her bedroom door at night. “She also slept on top of the bedspread/comforter, covering herself with a throw blanket, and always left the overhead light on,” prosecutors wrote in a filing. “When asked, Ms. Eichor stated she felt safer that way.”

Prosecutors allege that on Sept. 6, 2019, Harroz and Titus drove to Frisco, Texas, and had dinner with her family before checking in at the Red Roof Inn in Plano.

The couple then allegedly drove three hours back to Oklahoma, where around 3 a.m., authorities claim they cut the electric meter and phone lines at the Chandlers’ home and kicked in the front door. Jack was allegedly killed first. Eichor was outside her bedroom and shot repeatedly in the back “as they chased her down [the] hallway,” while Kaye attempted to hide in the closet before she was murdered, according to court documents. All three were shot with two different types of weapons.

On the day Eichor and her parents were killed, prosecutors allege that a car resembling Harroz’s 2010 Lexus was seen on surveillance near the residence. Titus’s DNA was also allegedly found on a ball cap near the home.

Just days after the murders, on Sept. 13, Harroz’s brother called the Sachse Police Department in Texas and turned over an AR-15 rifle that “he stated was involved in a triple homicide,” according to court documents.  The gun was traced to an Oklahoma man who told investigators that Harroz and Titus bought a rifle from him in Aug. 2019 and test fired another rifle they already had with them.

“The rifle shell casings from the homicide scene matched the rifle casings fired by the two of them at [witnesses] firing range,” according to a motion filed by prosecutors.

Friends and colleagues of Eichor are devastated by the loss of a woman who cherished her R2-D2 slippers and wore fun T-shirts at work. “She was just a good person,” says former colleague Debbie Deery. “Not a  mean bone in her body. Everybody liked her.”

Those who knew Jack and Kaye, a longtime-married couple who loved to go on yearly cruises, are also shocked at the pointless murders. “This shouldn't have ever happened,” says Spradlin. “It was uncalled for. [Jack] was building up a little nest egg to finally retire.”

Meanwhile, Titus and Harroz remain in jail and their upcoming murder trials are expected in 2024. Says Bedford about the couple: “It was a match made in hell.”

Lynn Eager jailed for life after murder of her children in car fire

By Edward Era Barbacena

Another white adult became responsible for the murder of innocent children.  It is really hard to believe that grown ups and sometimes parents would end up as murders of young and innocent juveniles.

A 49-year-old woman has pleaded guilty to the murder of her two children, aged two and five, amid emotional scenes at the Central Criminal Court today.

Thelma Dennany (5) and her little brother Mikey Dennany (2) died after their mother Lynn Eager set fire to the car in which they were sitting. The court heard today that Thelma was so badly burned that people at the scene were not even aware she was in the back seat. Her little brother, who she adored, was pulled from the car but could not be saved.

Their mother was in the passenger seat and was pulled to safety by a passerby and suffered only “minimal burns”, the court heard.

Michael Dennany, the father of both children, wrote  a statement for the court that was read by Detective Inspector Thomas Quinn. Mr Dennany wrote that the births of his two children were the happiest days of his life. Holding Thelma for the fist time, he said, was the “most terrifying” moment but he was the “happiest man alive, I was smitten.” When Mikey arrived two and a half years later, Thelma became “the best big sister ever, she wanted to do everything for him. From the moment they met they were stuck together like glue: Fearless, mischievous partners in crime.”

The day that they died, Mr Dennany had planned to go collecting chestnuts with his children after school. “We never got to do that,” he said. “Their daddy should have been there to protect them. When they needed me the most, I was useless.”

“When I left them that morning they were asleep, I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye… I used to come home to a busy home full of noise and toys and love. The toys are still there but not the noise or the love… Just heartache and despair.”

He said he had hoped to see his children through school and “at a push to see them married, but I never thought I would bury them… The only comfort I have is that they are together forever.”

Ms Eager also wrote a letter which was read out by her barrister Sean Gillane SC. She apologised to everyone she had hurt, for the “pain, horror and suffering” she had caused to her family and to her two “gorgeous children”.

“Looking back, there were other avenues I could and should have travelled,” she wrote. “I’m full of regret.”

Lynn Eagar (49) with an address of Winetown, Rathowen, County Westmeath,  was charged with the murders of Thelma (5) and Michael Dennany (2) at Lackan, Multyfarnham on September 9, 2022. With a barely audible whisper she pleaded guilty this morning when the two charges were put to her.

At the end of the hearing, Mr Justice Paul McDermott imposed a life sentence for each of the two murders.

“I can only express my commisserations to everyone concerned and to all who loved and cherished Thelma and Mikey,” he said.

British mother and insane boyfriend guilty of murdering helpless toddler

Alfie Phillips was beaten to death and smothered in an attack by mum Sian Hedges, 27, and Jack Benham, 35,  in his caravan near Faversham in Kent.

By Edward Era Barbacena

Another white couple found guilty of murdering a helpless and innocent child.  It is really hard to believe that there are such cruel people in the world who are capable of horrendous crime.

The mother of an 18-month-old boy and her former boyfriend have been found guilty of murdering him.

Alfie Phillips was beaten to death and smothered in an attack by mum Sian Hedges, 27, and 35-year-old Jack Benham in his caravan near Faversham in Kent.

Alfie was found with a ‘myriad of bruises’, broken ribs, a broken arm and leg, and traces of cocaine in his body after the couple took the drug and drank whisky during the night of ‘violent discipline’.

His body was found ‘blue and floppy’ on the morning of November 28, 2020, and paramedics said it was ‘immediately apparent’ Alfie had been dead for some time.

The jury took 10 hours to reach a unanimous guilty verdict following a trial at Maidstone crown court. Both Hedges and Benham face life imprisonment for his murder.

Prosecutor Jennifer Knight KC had told jurors: ‘It is clear that he had been deliberately injured on more than one occasion, culminating in an assault perpetrated on him during the night of November 27-28, 2020, that led to his death.

‘Jack Benham and Sian Hedges were in the caravan together throughout the night.

‘Had either defendant not been joining in with the assaults, that defendant who was not part of it would have stopped the attack and removed Alfie Phillips from the caravan, and from the presence of the other who was carrying out these attacks.

‘The fact that this did not happen can only be because both defendants agreed that the assaults should take place.

‘They both agreed in meting out some sort of aggressive, violent discipline to Alfie that night which resulted in his death.’

Three people shot and killed in Jerusalem minutes after truce extended

Three people shot and killed in Jerusalem minutes after truce extended

By Edward Era Barbacena

Three people were killed in Jerusalem just minutes after a six day military stand down between Israel and Hamas was extended to a seventh day, and just hours after an American hostage was freed.

Israeli officials say two attackers were killed by police and an armed civilian.

The two gunmen reportedly opened fire at a bus stop during the morning rush hour.

The ambulance service says at least six people have been injured, some critically, the BBC reported.

The killings and the cease fire came after spirits were high in the wake of the release of the next round of hostages.

An American hostage was among the 10 Israeli and four Thai captives who were released by Hamas to the Red Cross on Wednesday, and a 6 day military stand down has been extended for another day.

According to reports, American Israeli Liat Beinin Atzili, who had been taken hostage along with her husband during the initial Hamas attack on Oct. 7, was one of the people freed Wednesday.

Separately, two Israeli-Russian citizens were released outside of the Israel-Hamas negotiations.

Of the 10 Israelis released Wednesday, six are from Kibbutz Be'eri, where more than 130 Israelis were killed during the initial Oct. 7 Hamas attack.

In a statement from the White House, President Joe Biden praised the day's news.

"Today, 16 more people have been returned to their families after being held hostage by Hamas for more than 50 days," Biden said. "Among them is Liat Beinin -- a high school teacher, a guide at Israel's Holocaust Museum Yad Vashem and an American. Jill and I are deeply gratified that she will soon be reunited with her three children and her father, who have been wracked with worry for her safety."

Biden said the United States remains " determined to secure the release of every person taken hostage by Hamas during its brutal terrorist assault on Israel on October 7, including Liat's husband, Aviv."

Later Wednesday at an airport in Pueblo, Colo., where Biden was traveling to deliver an economic address, the president said Beinin was "safe" in Egypt.

"She's crossed the border," Biden told reporters. "I talked with her mother and father, and they're very appreciative. And things are moving well. She'll soon be home with her three children."

In the earlier statement, Biden thanked Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani and Egypt President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi "for their continued partnership in this process and their ongoing commitment to bring every hostage home."

According to Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari, Israeli forces also killed three Palestinians in Gaza who were accused of having "violated the cease-fire and were a threat."

"We are continuing to progress this evening with the deal to return the hostages," Hagari said.

With a two-day cease-fire extension due to expire Thursday, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has been dispatched to the Middle East to try lobby for a ceasefire extension which was announced early Thursday.

Prior to his departure, Blinken told reporters in Brussels that the U.S. wanted to extend the cease-fire in order to "continue to get more hostages out and more humanitarian assistance in."

Ryan Fournier was arrested in North Carolina last Tuesday on misdemeanour charges of assaulting a female and assault with a deadly weapon

By Edward Era Barbacena

Ryan Fournier, the co-founder of Students for Trump, has been arrested in North Carolina on misdemeanour charges of assaulting a female and assault with a deadly weapon.

According to court records from Johnston County, Mr Fournier, 27, is accused of grabbing the woman by her right arm and striking her in the head with a 9mm SIG Sauer firearm on 21 November.

Axios reported that the woman involved in the attack sustained minor injuries in the incident. Identifying information for the woman has been redacted from court records.

The Independent has reached out to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office for additional details.

Mr Fournier was being held in Johnston County Jail before posting $2,500 bond the same day as the attack. He has waived his right to counsel, court records show. The Independent has reached out to Mr Fournier for comment. His deposition hearing is scheduled for Dec 18.

If convicted, he faces up to 60 days in jail for a first offence.

According to his website, Mr Fournier helped launch Students for Trump while a freshman at Campbell University, a private institution in Buies Creek where he studied political science.

He currently serves as the organisation’s chairman. The group’s aim is to re-elect former president Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.

Mr Fournier is also the executive director of Radical Alert, an organisation dedicated to “exposing” radicals on college campuses across the country, according to the group’s website.

James Bodenham was convicted for raping an 11-year-old girl he had befriended in 2014

By Edward Era Barbacena

A paedophile who was jailed for eight-and-a-half years for raping a child is now behind bars again for failing to sign the sex offenders register.

James Bodenham was 26 when he raped an 11-year-old girl he had befriended in Addiscombe in March 2014.

The victim's parents contacted police on March 1 when she was late returning from visiting a relative.

She arrived home distressed soon after and told officers she had been sexually assaulted by a man she met earlier that day.

Detectives identified on CCTV footage a man matching the description given by the girl and circulated the image around local officers, one of whom recognised Bodenham as a cyclist he had stopped weeks earlier.

Bodenham was arrested on March 19 at this home, where police seized clothes matching those worn by the girl's attacker.

Following DNA sample analysis, he was charged with two counts of rape.

He pleaded guilty to one, with the other to lie on file, and was jailed for eight-and-a-half years at the Old Bailey.

Bodenham, now 36, was released from prison on March 1, 2023 after serving the full sentence.

But he failed to attend a police station to sign the sex offenders register within three days of his release.

Then on November 8 he was caught with cannabis in Lambeth.

On November 9 he appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to failing to comply with sex offenders register requirements and possession of a Class B drug.

Bodenham was due to be sentenced at Inner London Crown Court on Tuesday (November 28).

But a HMP Thameside officer said he could not attend court because he “swallowed a suspect drug parcel”.

The sentencing was adjourned until mid-December.

Racist American Man of Michigan Convicted Of Shooting At Black Man Who Passed By His Store Where Nazi Memorabilias Were Found

Racist American Man of Michigan Convicted Of Shooting At Black Man Who Passed By His Store Where Nazi Memorabilias Were  Found

White supremacist Anthony Mangiapane shot a Black man who was just minding his own business while passing by his store.

By Edward Era Barbacena

Not all people with such degree can be so civilised. It is ironic that some can be so unethical and savage. This was proven by a stupid white business owner who was easily intimate by skin color and assaulted a Black man which was completely unprovoked

In today’s episode of Existing While Black, a stupid white man in Warren, Michigan, is facing up to eight years in prison for shooting at a Black man who had committed the egregious and clearly terroristic crime of—walking past his place of business.

According to Fox 2 Detroit, a Macomb County jury found 56-year-old Anthony Mangiapane guilty of ethnic intimidation, assault with a deadly weapon, and a felony firearm charge that, alone, carries a mandatory minimum sentence of two years.

The incident occurred on July 27, 2022. The Black man, who hasn’t been named publicly, was walking by a shop owned by Anthony  Mangiapane, who responded to the mere presence of a Black person by shouting, “N***** you better get moving!” But before the victim could even process the fact that he’d encountered a random stupid lowlife white supremacist while in the commotion of, well, minding his own business, Mangiapane reportedly raised a rifle and fired at him three times. Fortunately, the victim escaped uninjured and was able to leave the scene and call 911.

After the police made contact with the victim at the location he fled to, they paid a visit to Mangiapane’s business, where they found the shooter barricaded inside. Initially, he refused to come out of the shop but he eventually surrendered. Perhaps Mangiapane was only trying to avoid arrest, or maybe he was also afraid the cops would discover what he had hidden in his shop, which definitely indicated that he was a neo-Nazi terrorist attack waiting to happen.

Inside the store, the police found a cache of weapons, including multiple pistols, shotguns, AR-15-style rifles, high-capacity magazines and a German Luger pistol. They also found an M203 grenade shell in a safe and—surprise, surprise—a collection of Nazi memorabilia. And, of course, they recovered the rifle Mangiapane pointed at his unsuspecting victim, which was accessorized with a green scope.

Anthony Mangiapane’s trial lasted all of three days before the jury found him guilty on all charges. He’s currently locked up in Macomb County Jail, where he awaits sentencing, which is scheduled for January, 24, 2024.

Kansas students outraged over suspension of Black girl assaulted by racist white male classmate

Shawnee Mission students walk out of classto protest racism

By Edward Era Barbacena

Students at a Kansas high school are outraged by the administration’s response to a fistfight between two students, a Black female and a stupid white male, saying that the school has a history of condoning racism against Black students.

The Kansas City Defender reported that the girl, identified as “Bre,” suffered a broken nose during the hallway brawl at Shawnee Mission East High School and was hospitalized. The male student, heard on video spewing the N-word, had no reported injuries. Administrators suspended both students.

The students are demanding justice for Bre, saying suspending Bre for defending herself was unfair. They staged a school walkout Monday (Nov. 27) to demand change.

The Defender posted a video that shows what led up to the scuffle. In the footage, Bre is in an apparent heated argument with two White female students for using racial slurs and calling Black students “slaves,” according to the news outlet.

They walked away, but the tension remained.

A second video shows what happened next as the two girls retreat, and Bre yells her final words in the dispute. The male student, who was standing near the white female students during the verbal argument, walks away with the white females.

As he walks away, he’s heard saying to Bre, “Shut the [explictive] up.” Bre demanded to know who said that. He turns while hurling the N-word, and charges toward Bre. The two of them exchange punches.

The Defender interviewed students who were furious – but not surprised – by the school administration’s response to what they viewed as a hate crime. They said

school administrators have a pattern of failing to discipline racist behavior and downplaying racist incidents.

They said the administration displayed its apathy in a letter to parents about the fight.

“As a school and a community, we know that in order for students to learn, they must first feel safe and supported. Shawnee Mission East teachers, administrators, and staff will continue to do our absolute best to help every student who enters our school feel safe and supported so they can be at their very best…the words we use matter. Racially charged language, insults, and slurs will not be tolerated in our school…,” the letter stated, according to The Defender.

“This was a serious attack… a textbook hate crime,” a student named Charlize told the news outlet.

“There were so many warning signs. It’s been going on for so long. Most of the people involved are seniors or upperclassmen. Its been going on for so long. We’ve reported it and talked about it but nothing has happened.”

Charlize and another student named Jaxton said they feel unsafe at school. Jaxton said, “Everyone is equally frustrated and angry. It should have never gotten to this point. They are very quiet about it. The administrators won’t voice that this is wrong. Racist students never get in serious trouble. We’re tired of trying to confide in people and administrators who aren’t doing anything for us and won’t help us.”

American man of NYC arrested after assaulting Muslim woman in subway because of Palestinian flag that she was wearing

American man of NYC arrested after assaulting Muslim woman in subway because of Palestinian flag that she was wearing

Greg Kutzin of StoneX Group, Inc. is seen assaulting a woman on a NYC subway while she was traveling to a pro-Palestine protest.

By Edward Era Barbacena

It is very intriguing why many stupid white Americans are easily bothered by ordinary things which often results to hatecrime.

There are several factors why these insane white people in the United States resort to assault if they are bothered by anything that are usually normal. But one leading factor is racially motivated and stupid white Americans are very good at it

The 23-year-old, who is Yemeni American and Muslim, said she was on her way to a pro-Palestinian rally in Bryant Park on Nov. 17 when the man began to glare at her. He called her a “terrorist,” snatched and broke the flag she was carrying, and hit her in the chest, according to both her interview and a police statement. She said this led her to take out her phone and start recording.

In the video, the man can be seen holding her flag and swiping at her as she yelled back and cried out for help. Fellow passengers can be heard gasping as he appears to lunge forward and she stumbles for a moment.

She continued to record as the two deboarded at Times Square-42nd Street, and she filmed him throwing her broken flag to the ground. In the police report, she alleged he threw it onto the subway tracks.

The young woman, who said she moved to the U.S. from Yemen when she was 15, asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation.

“I always felt safe, especially in New York City,” she said. “I was always aware of crazy people, but not that people were going to target me because of my beliefs.”

Kutzin has been charged with six hate crimes including assault, robbery, grand larceny, petit larceny, criminal mischief and harassment, police said. He pleaded not guilty to all counts and was released on his own recognizance.

His lawyer did not return a call from NBC News.

When she first got off the train, the woman said she flagged down a police officer who dismissed her story, telling her the video didn’t prove anything. He questioned if she really wanted to make a police report and deal with the hassle, so she didn’t file one at the time.

It was only after the video went viral that she was encouraged by viewers and friends to make an official report. A day after she visited the precinct and gave her statement to police, Kutzin was arrested, she said.

“What if I didn’t have a video? What if it didn’t go viral? He would have never even got arrested,” she said.

The New York Police Department did not respond to questions about the initial officer’s handling of the incident.

Shared by civil rights organization Yemeni Alliance Committee, the clip of the incident has gained over 1 million views on X and TikTok. The woman who filmed her attack said it’s the first time she’s ever experienced Islamophobia with physical violence. Standing at 4 feet, 10 inches tall, she was scared when the man approached her, and she said when no one on the train stood up for her, she decided to take it into her own hands with the video.

“I don’t want to think that this is ever going to happen again, but if something ever do — because of what’s happening now with the increase in hate crimes — I’m always going to initially record,” she said.

Kutzin’s employer, financial services franchise StoneX Group, put out a statement on social media saying it was aware of what happened, but it was not clear if the company was investigating the incident or had taken any action.

“We are aware of the social media discussions regarding a StoneX employee. This unfortunate incident occurred outside of work and has been turned over to the proper authorities,” the tweet said.

Raymond Jerel Callicutt's assault leads to baby's death during premature birth

PURE WHITE EVIL

Scott Peterson, Chris Watts and Hunter Tatum are three of the many white American men who became infamous and prolific for killing their own unborn child.  The latest deranged white American man who is responsible for the death of his unborn child is from North Carolina

A North Carolina man has been charged with murder of an unborn child in connection with an assault on his ex-girlfriend, authorities said.

Josiah Randolph Hearne was born on Nov. 14 and lived nearly 12 hours before dying of his injuries stemming from the assault on his mother, according to a Rowan County Sheriff’s Office news release on Tuesday.

Josiah’s father, 42-year-old Raymond Jerel Callicutt, was arrested Monday and jailed without bond pending a first court appearance on Wednesday, sheriff’s officials said.

Callicutt allegedly went to his ex-girlfriend’s home off N.C. 152 near Atwell “and a verbal argument quickly turned physical,” according to the release.

Days after the assault, the woman went to a hospital, and Josiah was born prematurely at 24 weeks, investigators said. Josiah’s death was ruled a homicide due to blunt force trauma, according to the sheriff’s office.

Josiah had injuries to his liver, brain, heart and lungs, an autopsy by the N.C. Medical Examiner’s showed. Deputies previously charged Callicutt with breaking and entering in the Nov. 14 incident.

British man in Australia sentenced for 24 years for the gruesome murder of Melbourne singer

Paul Charlton has been sentenced to more than two decades in prison for the 2007 murder of Joanne Howell

By Edward Era Barbacena

It took 16 years, but Paul Charlton's crimes have finally caught up with him.

Charlton, who brutally bashed and killed Melbourne singer and mother Joanne Howell in her home, was today jailed for 24 years by the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Charlton tried to pin the 2007 killing on an unidentified intruder, telling police he had been out walking his dog for two hours and returned to find his girlfriend's body at the bottom of the stairs.

Ms Howell's skull had been fractured and she had been strangled.

In the lead-up to her death, Ms Howell told friends she wanted to leave Charlton and wrote him a letter "to make it clear" their relationship was over.

After Wednesday's sentencing hearing, Ms Howell's sister Lisa Hennessy was beaming and pumped her fist as she left the Supreme Court.

"He's been running for 16 years, and he can't run any more," she said of Charlton.

"He's a murderer and a coward."

Ms Hennessy said she hoped her sister would be looking down on the family and be proud that her killer was held to account.

"She's always going to be there … I don't think anyone ever gets closure," Ms Hennessy said.

"I just used to think she was the most beautiful woman in the whole world."

For years, Charlton was considered the prime suspect.

In 2011, a coroner said it was "highly improbable" Ms Howell had been killed by an intruder, and the evidence suggested Charlton was involved in Ms Howell's death.

Charlton maintained his innocence, and even lodged a victims of crime compensation claim to cash in on Ms Howell's death.

In a television interview in 2018, the karaoke event singer serenaded the camera and told a Channel 9 reporter he was haunted by Ms Howell's death.

"I think about her every day. I write her a birthday card every year," he said.

"She may have been a pain in the arse, but she was my pain in the arse and I loved her."

It was only in 2021 that police arrested Charlton and charged him with murder.

In July this year, a Supreme Court jury found him guilty, a verdict that left Charlton so shocked he fainted in the dock and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

On Wednesday morning, Charlton told prison authorities he was sick and could not be brought to the Supreme Court to hear the sentence in-person.

The hearing was delayed and Charlton appeared via videolink from the Melbourne Remand Centre.

Charlton, who was wearing a green prison jumper, grimaced during the hearing and shut his eyes as details of his violent crime was read out.

Supreme Court Justice James Elliott said the killing was "an extreme act of domestic violence", that included attempts to cover up the crime.

"You brutally murdered Ms Howell in her own home when she was entitled to feel safe," Justice Elliott said.

Charlton, 69, will have to serve a minimum of 19 years' jail before he is eligible for parole.

If he is ever released, Charlton faces deportation to the United Kingdom, the country of his birth, because he does not hold Australian citizenship.

In an unrelated matter, the now-convicted murderer was also found guilty of sex offences in 2018.

Michael Morin, 38, was terminated as of Nov. 10,  He had been a Fall River police officer since March 2017.

By Edward Era Barbacena

A city white police officer arrested in June on a charge that he allegedly possessed child pornography, has been fired from the Fall River Police Department.

Michael Morin, 38, was terminated as of Nov. 10, according to Police Chief Paul Gauvin. He had been a Fall River police officer since March 2017.

He is accused of having possession of nude images of his then 17-year-old girlfriend on his cellphone.

“The termination was based on findings from a hearing officer designated by the city to determine if he had engaged in serious misconduct in Fall River police department regulations,” said Gauvin.

Fall River police officer charged with child porn. He says it 'doesn’t rise to the level'

Morin has a right to appeal the hearing officer’s decision.

Arrested and arraigned on the single charge on June 30, Morin had been on paid administrative leave since May 29 when the relationship with the 17-year-old was discovered during an unrelated investigation

“At this point, we are just happy to move on. I think the way the situation was handled by the department, I think, is exactly what the public would expect,” said Gauvin.

Morin was not charged with having sexual relations with the 17-year-old female, because the age of consent in Massachusetts is 16 years of age.

However, it is against the law to possess pornographic images with a person under 18 years old.

Morin’s defense attorney, Rene Brown, had argued during two court appearances that the charge against the now-former police officer should be dismissed because the alleged victim sent the unsolicited images, and that just because nudity was involved, it didn’t rise to the level of child pornography.

Morin lost his bid to have the charge dismissed for lack of probable cause in September, with Brown indicating her motion that the clerk magistrate who allowed the case to move forward, was never given the images during an initial, closed-door hearing.

A district court judge denied the motion, writing that the alleged victim was the class of people the law was intended to protect.

Mark McNamara resigned after the department found text messages that demonstrated racial bias.

By Edward Era Barbacena

Mark McNamara, the San Jose, California, police officer who was exposed for sending racist text messages, has officially lost his certification, according to a report.

It comes after McNamara resigned from the department earlier this month following the revelation that he sent the messages to another employee, referencing the March 2022 shooting involving K’aun Green.

Green, a community college football player, was inside a Mexican restaurant with his friends when a man threatened them. The situation escalated when another individual with the man pulled out a gun, resulting in a physical scuffle. Green’s attorney said to protect himself, he “wrestled the gun away” and walked out of the establishment.

Upon exiting, he was shot by McNamara multiple times. Following the incident, Green spoke about the student-athlete calling him the N-word and stating, “I hate Black people,” among other messages.

Chief Anthony Mata publicly denounced McNamara’s actions several times and agreed that McNamara should be decertified. He emphasized his commitment to “anti-racism culture” in the department.

“The department is committed to ensuring Mr. McNamara cannot serve as a police officer elsewhere and will work with POST to ensure that decertification happens as soon as possible,” he wrote earlier this month in a statement obtained by KGO-TV. “We are also working collaboratively with the District Attorney’s office to review cases that Mr. McNamara was involved in, including the March 2022 officer-involved shooting. Upon completion of our internal investigation, we will review any affected cases as well.”

The San Francisco Chronicle reported McNamara’s certification status has been listed as temporarily suspended since Nov. 15, noting that the basis is “resigned/retired pending investigation – demonstrating bias.”

The police department in Antioch, a city about 70 miles from San Jose, is facing similar backlash after a group of residents filed a federal lawsuit against the agency for sending racist text messages, including some that compared Black people to gorillas.

Jason Eaton has been charged with attempted murder after he shot 3 Palestinian students

By Edward Era Barbacena

When it comes to unprovoked assault brought by nonsensical hatecrimes, it is expected that there's alot of these in the United States and the usual culprits, well off course - the stupid white Americans

One of the latest nonsensical hatecrimes that occurred in the United States has something to do with Israel-Hamas conflict and as usual the attack was unprovoked carried out by a middle-aged white man in Vermont.

Jason Eaton has been charged with attempted murder after he shot 3 Palestinian students in what police consider to be a crime motivated by hatred, though prosecutors say there is not yet sufficient evidence to formally charge him with a hate crime.

An American man on Monday was charged with attempted murder in Vermont over the shooting of three men of Palestinian descent, in a crime authorities described as an act of hatred.

Vermont state attorney Sarah George said there was not yet sufficient evidence to support a hate crime enhancement of the charges against the suspect, identified as Jason Eaton, 48.

But "I do want to be clear," George told reporters in Burlington, the northeastern US city where the shooting occurred. "There is no question this was a hateful act."

Police said the gunman stepped off a front porch and -- "unprovoked" -- opened fire on the three college students as they walked together Saturday on a city block.

The attack comes during heightened tensions in the United States over the Israel-Hamas war. College campuses and other locations have seen mounting threats and incidents of violence including acts of Islamophobia and anti-Semitism.

The woman 28, was driving a Honda Civic when she struck the moped rider, Robert Jimenez, 23

By Edward Era Barbacena

A woman is in NYPD custody after fatally striking a man on a moped in the Bronx on Saturday in what cops believe is a road rage incident, officials said.

Police responded to a 911 call reporting a collision at Fox Street and Intervale Avenue in Longwood at 2:22 p.m. Saturday.

A preliminary investigation showed that the 28-year-old woman was driving a red Honda Civic the wrong way on a one-way street, Fox Street, when she hit and killed 23-year-old Robert Jimenez of Concourse, the Bronx, police said.

Police confirmed that Jimenez was on a black moped and also driving the wrong way on Fox Street.

In the crash, Jimenez was thrown from his moped and suffered trauma to his body. He was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln and pronounced dead, authorities said.

The woman is in custody, but she is currently in the hospital to treat minor injuries, so police said charges may take time to confirm.

Police said they believe this was a road rage incident and the incident has been deemed a homicide investigation, but the investigation is ongoing.

White supremacist Franklin Barrett Sechriest was arrested on local and federal arson charges for setting fire to the synagogue

By Edward Era Barbacena

The journals of a Texas college student who torched a synagogue two years ago reveal he had become “consumed” by virulent racist and antisemitic beliefs he developed years earlier and joined the state’s version of the National Guard because he thought it would “give him access to like-minded people who shared his hate.”

A Nov. 20 sentencing memo filed by federal prosecutors unveils an especially disturbing string of diary entries from Franklin Barrett Sechriest, who wrote about joining a neo-Völkisch hate group preaching ethnic Germanic superiority, vandalizing Freemason lodges, and other disquieting pursuits. Perhaps the least worrisome passage is one in which the then-18-year-old decries the “insane prices” of foreskin-replacement gear, and immediately pivots to playing RimWorld, a sci-fi space colony sim.

The memo, which runs to 107 pages and suggests a prison term of no less than 10 years, says Sechrist’s parents rewarded his abhorrent behavior with access to weapons and family trips to the shooting range.

Sechriest was arrested Nov. 12, 2021, for a Halloween-night arson after investigators with the Austin Fire Department identified the Texas State freshman through security footage of his license plate at Congregation Beth Israel. The fire caused more than $150,000 in damage, destroying the temple’s historic doors, ruining its stained glass windows, and wrecking the sanctuary.

In one of Sechriest’s journal entries released at the time, he wrote, “I set a synagogue on fire.” In another journal entry now being seen for the first time, Sechriest blamed Jews for COVID-19, talked about listening to white power music, and cyberstalking vulnerable people online. He expressed support for Nazism, denigrated the Talmud, and reminded himself to, variously, “be racist” to “[c]onsider actual terrorism,” and to “test Molotov cocktails.”

US President Biden's cognitive declines rapidly, he may not be suited for the job, ex-WH doctor warns

US President Biden's cognitive declines rapidly, he may not be suited for the job, ex-WH doctor warns

By Edward Era Barbacena

FOX: President Biden's 81st birthday ushered in even more conversations surrounding his age and declining cognitive acuity, two things Texas Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson, a former White House physician, believes are valid causes for concern.

"[The decline is] happening quickly," Jackson told "Sunday Morning Futures" guest anchor Sean Duffy.

"Like you said, I've taken care of three presidents… so I know firsthand what it takes to be the commander-in-chief and the head of state. It's a grueling job, both mentally and physically. This man can't do the job. He's proven to us every single day that he can't do the job, but this is going to get worse."

Jackson served as a physician under the Bush, Obama and Trump administrations and has previously sounded the alarm over Biden's cognitive acuity, even demanding he take a cognitive test or drop out of the 2024 race.

Jackson said the decline has been evident for some time, looking back on Biden as a candidate before his 2020 match-up against then-president and current Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, whom Jackson has endorsed for their 2024 rematch.

"It's just unbelievable how much he's degenerated just during his time in office. We cannot afford to have this man in office for the remainder of this term and then [for] another four years after that. He's already putting us at great risk right now," he said.

Meanwhile, young voters lament the president is "out of touch" with everyone as his support among Gen Z voters – a crucial demographic for Democrats – erodes in recent polls.

One recent NBC News poll, for instance, indicated that Trump leads Biden by four percentage points among registered voters between the ages of 18 to 34.

Though prominent names like California Gov. Gavin Newsom or former First Lady Michelle Obama have been tossed around in speculation while many caution against letting Biden serve as the Democratic nominee, a potential replacement for him remains unclear.

Jackson, continuing his discussion with Duffy, listed a series of concerns he has with the direction of the country, pointing to the crisis at the southern border, international tensions and the economy.

"[Look at] the wars that we're getting drawn into. Things that wouldn't happen if Donald Trump were there because our enemies don't fear us anymore. They have no respect for us anymore and our adversaries don't trust us anymore, and it's because we don't have the leadership in the White House that we need," he said.

"It's because this man, even if he wanted to, he cannot provide that leadership. He is not physically and cognitively fit for office anymore, and somebody in his inner circle needs to step up to the plate and make him aware of this, and he needs to move on for the safety and security of this country."

Grand jury indicted Killen Police Officer Jarrod Webster on charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy.

By Edward Era Barbacena

An Alabama white police officer was indicted by a Lauderdale County grand jury Friday on allegations he sexually assaulted a female during a traffic stop Sunday, authorities said.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office received a call Sunday night from Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville stating that a female patient told the hospital she had been sexually assaulted by a Killen police officer during a traffic stop earlier that day, the office said.

The FBI helped Lauderdale County authorities investigate the allegation.

The investigation showed there was enough evidence to present the case to a Lauderdale County grand jury, the sheriff’s office said.

On Friday, the grand jury indicted Killen Police Officer Jarrod Webster on charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy.

Webster is being held at the Lauderdale County jail under no bond under Aniah’s Law, pending a hearing.

Renegade Filipino cop arrested for firing gun outside a bar in Quezon city

Mark Julio Abong also got involved in a hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a tricycle driver in August 2022.

By Edward Era Barbacena

A Filipino policeman was arrested by members of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) after he allegedly fired his service firearm outside a bar in Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City early Sunday morning, Nov. 26.

QCPD Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit  (CIDU) Chief Maj. Don Don Llapitan identified the suspect as Lt. Col. Mark Julio Abong, 40, assigned to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Legal Service, and a resident of Brgy. Manresa, Quezon City.

The report showed that Abong went to a bar in Barangay Laging Handa and demanded to see its manager at around 1 a.m. on Sunday. He was then approached and had a conversation with a waiter.

Police said that during the conversation, Abong suddenly grabbed the waiter's necktie and then went outside the bar where he fired his gun in an upward direction twice.

Citing the statement of the bar manager, QCPD said Abong also pointed his firearm towards one of his companions.

It added that QCPD Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) deployed operatives in the area after receiving reports about the incident that led to Abong's arrest.

Seized from the suspect were a Glock 40 Pistol with serial number AAMA005, a magazine loaded with nine 40 cal. live bullets, and two empty 40 Cal. cartridges

Abong was the former QCPD CIDU commander but was relieved from his post after he got involved in a hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a tricycle driver in August 2022.

He was dismissed by the People's Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) of Quezon City from police service in March 2023 in relation to the incident.

The suspect will be charged for illegal discharge of firearms, alarms and scandals, violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act) in relation to the Omnibus Election Code, physical injury, and slander by deed before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office, QCPD said.

"Such acts will never be tolerated by the QCPD. We will strictly implement the PNP disciplinary machinery," QCPD Director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan said.

In a statement on Sunday, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte called on Maranan to conduct a fair and quick investigation on the incident involving the policeman.

"At the same time, we would like to request that the leadership of QCPD and PNP clarify what is the status of Abong who was formerly from QCPD especially since he has been removed from the service of QC PLEB," she said.

Abong was previously involved in a hit-and-run case and an attempt to cover up the case. In the previous decision of the PLEB in March 2023, Abong was found guilty and was dismissed from the service. It can be remembered that I praised our QC PLEB, led by its Executive Officer, Atty. Rafael Calinisan, for their quick, fair and fearless decision on this matter. Abong appealed the decision to the Regional Appellate Board of Napolcom but it upheld the decision of the PLEB in their decision in August 2023."

According to the PLEB, their decision is immediately executory. This is stated in Republic Act Nos. 6975 and 8551, especially Napolcom Memorandum Circulars 2019 - 005 and 2016 - 002, which say that the imposition of dismissal must be implemented immediately by the PNP, even if the police involved still has a pending appeal. The law is clear," she added.

The mayor also assured entrepreneurs in the city that the local government will continue to protect their businesses and personnel at their safety is crucial for the development of the city.

"We strongly condemn any incident of violence, especially the abuse of duty by a public servant. A badge is not a permission to abuse. This kind of behavior has no place in our city, " she added.

George Floyd killer and former cop Derek Chauvin stabbed in Prison

By Edward Era Barbacena

Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted of the murder of George Floyd, suffered serious injuries after being stabbed Friday in the jail where he was being held, said an officer familiar with the case.

Chauvin was being held at the medium-security prison in Tucson, Arizona, known as the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI).

The jail is located at 8901 Wilmot Road. The former agent was initially incarcerated in a prison in Minnesota, but was transferred to Arizona in August of last year for security reasons.

Although the Federal Bureau of Prisons report does not identify Chauvin as the victim, it notes that the stabbing incident was reported around 12:30 p.m., and that guards responding to the scene had to subdue the victim. to measures to save his life. The inmate had to be rushed to a local hospital.

“The responding employees isolated and stopped the incident and at no time was the public in danger,” details the office report cited by local and national media.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison addressed Saturday the stabbing of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer who was convicted of murdering George Floyd.

Ellison expressed upset at the violent attack on the former police officer, saying that Chauvin had the right to serve his sentence “without fear of retaliation or violence.”

“I am sad to hear that Derek Chauvin was the target of violence,” Ellison told The Washington Post through his spokesman, Brian Evans. “He was duly convicted of his crimes and, like any incarcerated individual, he should be able to serve his sentence without fear of retaliation or violence.”

Chauvin was stabbed in federal prison by another inmate on Friday, according to The Associated Press.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons said no other inmates or prison personnel were harmed in the attack on Chauvin.

Employees broke up the assault and transported the former police officer to the hospital for life-saving care. The FBI was alerted to the incident.

A person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press that the incident happened at Federal Correctional Institution, Tucson, Arizona.

The Bureau of Prisons said there was an incident at the prison at around 12:30 p.m. Friday. The agency said employees at the prison contained the incident and performed “life-saving measures,” on an inmate, but didn’t confirm it was Chauvin.

The incident marks the second incident at the prison in around a year. In November 2022, an inmate at the prison’s low-security camp attempted to shoot a visitor in the head, but the weapon was misfired.

Chauvin was convicted in the 2020 murder of Floyd, which sparked violent protests nationwide.

Another case of a white American teacher sexually assaulted a student which ended up being arrested. This kind of carnal crime is getting common in the United States and we can expect more of this to happen.

A New Jersey gym teacher was jailed after a former student detailed their sexual relationship that spanned his high school career.

Former Bridgewater-Raritan High School teacher Lydia Pinto, 38, was charged Nov. 8 with first-degree aggravated sexual assault and two counts of second-degree sexual assault.

American woman of Florida arrested for sharing child sex abuse videos, also sexually abusing own dog.

Angela Marcella Rio shared child sex abuse videos, also sexually abused own dog.

By Edward Era Barbacena

Detectives uncovered a sordid series of chats, searches and child sexual abuse material in a Plantation woman’s online life, leading to her arrest on nearly a dozen felony charges, police allege in an arrest warrant.

Some of those chats included sexual fantasies about drowning — then raping — children, the warrant states. Police said they also found another disturbing discovery on Angela Marcella Rio’s phone: a video of her sexually abusing her own dog.

The 33-year-old made an appearance in Broward County court Monday after prosecutors filed formal charges earlier this month. Rio was originally arrested in mid-October and is facing 11 child pornography-related charges after police alleged that she possessed more than 100 “child exploitative/age-difficult” images and videos.

Police said Rio’s digital footprint showed a pattern of “fetishization and sexualization of children.”

A Plantation Police Department detective working for the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force wrote in the warrant that authorities initiated the investigation into Rio began May 5 after receiving multiple tips originating from the websites Reddit and Quora as well as messaging app Kik. They alleged that an account, ultimately traced back to Rio, uploaded multiple files of child sexual abuse material to the services.

During their investigation, police said they uncovered a series of Google searches indicating a sexual interest in children; those included queries like “mom and son porn” and “do babies feel sexual pleasure?”

They said they also found a series of chats with men online that revolved around sharing detailed sexual fantasies about young children, including content relating to an “underwater fetish,” in which police said she fantasized about drowning a child in one instance.

Police later served a search warrant at Rio’s home on Westree Lane. She denied having any sexual interest in children or possessing child sexual abuse material, the warrant states.

She told detectives any sexual chats were a “dirty thing” she did to “make money on the side” using Quora, a question-and-answer website, and adult-oriented website OnlyFans, police wrote.

According to the warrant, investigators obtained a warrant to search Rio’s electronic devices and found 115 child sexual abuse or “age-difficult” images or videos on her phone.

The files were described in graphic detail in the arrest warrant. Detectives said the images and videos depicted boys and girls as young as 2 being raped or otherwise sexually abused by men or women.

Authorities said the iPhone 11 contained another disturbing discovery: a video of Rio making her dog, “Phoebe,” perform a sex act on her.

“Her dog is easily accessible and cannot consent to this act or voice the abuse,” detectives wrote. “This act shows how accustomed and accepted Rio is to the idea of exploiting and controlling the vulnerable with the intent to gratify her own deviant sexual desires.”

Authorities would take Rio into custody afterward.

No charges related to animal abuse or bestiality are included in Rio’s court file. She has pleaded not guilty to the child pornography charges.

Rio’s Fort Lauderdale-based attorney, A. Randall Haas, told Local 10 News he intends to “aggressively” defend her in court.

“Although I am not at liberty to discuss the accusations against her or our anticipated defenses to the crimes charged, I will say that Angela should be presumed innocent until the state attorney proves to a jury of her peers that she is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt,” Haas said in a statement. “Having said that, I remain confident that once all of the evidence is borne out, and Ms. Rio receives her due process in a court of law, the allegations against her will be seen through a totally different lens.”

According to Broward court records, Rio’s next hearing is scheduled for January.

Milton Orkopoulos jailed for 20 years over sexual misconduct of children age 10 to 15

By Edward Era Barbacena

Former NSW Labor MP Milton Orkopoulos has been jailed for a maximum of 20 years after he sexually abused four boys and supplied two of them with cannabis between 1993 and 2003.

It is the 66-year-old’s second jail sentence for child sexual abuse, after he was convicted in 2008 over offences against three other boys.

On Friday, District Court Judge Jane Culver said the latest crimes committed by Orkopoulos had been “calculated, predatory and manipulative” as she gave him a prison sentence of 20 years with a non-parole period of 13 years. The boys were aged between 10 and 15.

He was given cannabis by Orkopoulos and was assaulted in the back seat of his car before being dropped at the McDonald’s car park. He cried during the assault and was told by Orkopoulos that no one would believe him.

Orkopoulos met another victim when he saw the boy riding a skateboard near his office, and said he was the person to talk to about getting a skate park in the area. A third boy was seen by Orkopoulos when he was riding a bike past the electorate office.

Culver said the third boy was invited into the office and given cannabis, which made him feel like he was going to vomit. Orkopoulos then put his hand down the boy’s pants. The same boy was later sexually assaulted on the office desk, which left him screaming and crying in pain.

The judge said Orkopoulos continues to deny he committed the offences, meaning there is “no evidence of remorse or contrition”.

She said three of the victims provided statements to the court detailing the serious and ongoing impacts on their lives, including becoming homeless and ending up in jail.

Orkopoulos met one of the victims at his Swansea electorate office when the boy’s grandmother brought him in to speak about behavioural issues he had been experiencing after the deaths of his parents.

“It is hard not to be moved by such descriptions of profound harm caused to children, now adults. It is a continuing harm,” Culver said. “Child sexual assault typically, and tragically, derails the lives of the victims.”

In April, a jury found Orkopoulos guilty of 11 counts of sexual intercourse with a person aged between 10 and 16, seven counts of supplying a prohibited drug, six counts of aggravated indecent assault of a person under 16, and two acts of indecency with a person under the age of 16.

Two months later, Orkopoulos was “king hit” from behind in a jail attack, which knocked him unconscious. He was hit in the ribs and had his ankle stomped on, breaking it.

Culver found this attack was likely due to the perpetrator finding out about the latest guilty verdict.

Orkopoulos was previously convicted in 2008 of sexually abusing three boys and supplying them with drugs between 1995 and 2006. He was given a maximum sentence of 13 years and eight months.

Culver said Orkopoulos was released on parole in December 2019 before this was revoked in February 2020 because he created an Instagram account and borrowed another person’s phone to make a phone call, in breach of his reporting obligations under the child protection register.

He was charged with the current child sex offences in June and September 2020 and remained behind bars as he awaited trial. His original sentence expired in October 2021.

Orkopoulos watched his latest sentence handed down via video link from Goulburn Correctional Centre and did not react. His sentence was backdated to include time spent in custody, and he will be eligible for parole in June 2033.
