Little girl dies, electrocuted by faulty ice cream fridge in India

Unfortunately, the beautiful little girl, Grishma, was electrocuted by a poorly maintained fridge. She died on the scene.

A little girl is dead after she was electrocuted by a faulty fridge inside an ice cream parlor in India, harrowing new video shows.

The tragedy took place shortly before 9pm local time on Thursday, September 1, in Nashik, Maharashtra, according to local reports.

The young victim has been identified as Grishma and her father as Vishal Kulkarni. Vishal had gone to get ice cream with his daughter Grishma.

Once inside the ice cream parlor, the young girl hung from a fridge, but only to get electrocuted shortly after.

Not realizing the horrific scene taking place in front of his eyes, Vishal failed to come to her aid in time.

The young girl eventually collapsed to the ground.

Vishal rushed his daughter to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

An investigation is ongoing.
