Sputnik V was the 1st in the world to offer combo trial to AstraZeneca in Nov 2020, co-sponsored mix&match trials with AstraZeneca, Moderna & Sinopharm. Since then heterogeneous boosting pioneered by Sputnik proved to be effective vs mutations.

As world’s 1st vaccine cocktail vs COVID (using Ad26 for 1st shot, Ad5 for 2nd shot), Sputnik specifically developed its one-shot Sputnik Light vaccine to be both an independent vaccine with efficacy over 80% and to serve as a booster for other vaccines.

As pfizer & and moderna_tx develop booster shots to make their vaccines work against COVID19 mutations they need to Open their Eyes to SputnikV booster shot as AstraZeneca did. Heterogeneous boosting pioneered by SputnikV makes vaccines more efficient.

The Gamaleya Laboratory reported that the Sputnik V vaccine is 83.1% effective against the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, which exceeds the one produced by Pfizer, which is only 42% effective.

According to the information provided by the Russian Minister of Health, Mikhail Murashko announced that the vaccine produced in his nation has an 83.1% effectiveness against the delta variant and 94.4% for cases of hospitalizations, these data show that it is has better results compared to the Pfizer vaccine, which a few days ago reported that its efficacy against the variant had dropped to 42%.

In addition Delta cases surge in US & Israel shows mRNA vaccines need a heterogeneous booster to strengthen & prolong immune response.

In addition, SputnikV pioneered mix and match approach, combo trials & showed 83.1% efficacy vs Delta.  Today RDIF offers Pfizer to start trial with Sputnik Light as booster

A study published by medRxiv determined that the vaccine from the pharmaceutical company Pfizer has lost effectiveness against the variant since it fell from 76% (according to data from the beginning of the year) to 42% in the month of July.

In the same publication, it is mentioned that Moderna's effectiveness is also higher, having 76%.
