Everyday, we would encounter news in the United States regarding a juvenile being murdered by irresponsible adults and majority of the killers are white Americans

A jury has convicted a man of first-degree murder and recommended a sentence of 50 years in prison, with eligibility for parole after 20 years.

Information on the Washoe Courts website shows the judge sentenced 28-year-old Craig Melzo, but it is unclear if he followed the jury's recommendation or handed down a different sentence.

Melzo was arrested in August of 2020, charged with the open murder of his two-week-old child.

The Washoe Courts website says he was convicted on Thursday, October 5th and sentenced on Friday, October 6th.
