Another case of death of a child who was left locked in a car during hot sunny day in the United States. This nonsensical incident is no longer new. The usual negligent guardian is another stupid white American. These ridiculous kind of people will never learn
Authorities in Pennsylvania are investigating the death of a child that was left in a sweltering car Wednesday afternoon.
According to the DA's office, police were called for an unresponsive child on Wednesday.
Officers report that they arrived to a home in Columbia after learning that Emily Weaver had not picked up her children from school. When searching the home, officers found Weaver unresponsive in a bedroom on the second floor.
Officers then found a 3-month-old child in a vehicle in the driveway. They found the child who was "beyond help," with witnesses stating the victim was left in a car with doors and windows closed for an undetermined amount of time.
The Lancaster County Coroner later pronounced the child deceased at 7:08 p.m.
The coroner report shows the victim died due to environmental exposure caused by the vehicle the child was in being in direct sunlight, which created temperatures of over 80 degrees Fahrenheit inside the car.
Police learned that around 8 a.m. Thursday morning, Weaver took two children to school. They say she returned home, intending to use meth, but she does not remember doing so. She also told police that she does not remember anything after returning home from school until being awakened by her stepfather.
Weaver said she hid drugs and drug paraphernalia in a wristlet in her bedroom.
Officials say further investigation has lead to the arrest of Weaver. She is currently being held for third degree murder, involuntary manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child.
The investigation is ongoing at this point, and police say the child's name will not be released at this time.
