Visayan Pastors of Cagayan de Oro, Philippines arrested for murder 

Pastor Dimver Andales and associate Pastor Jether Nonot are both accused of murder of Adriane Fornillos.

By virtue of an arrest warrant for the murder case, the authorities arrested Pastor Dimver Andales on Monday, October 16, who is said to be the mastermind behind the murder of Mr. Cagayan de Oro candidate Adriane Fornillos.

According to the report, apart from Andales, another junior pastor, Jether Nonot, who allegedly drove the getaway vehicle used in the crime, was also arrested.

Andales and Nonot are both pastors of Lapasan Baptist Church in Misamis Oriental.

The suspects were taken to the Agora Lapasan Police Station for disposition and will later be transferred to the Lumbia City Jail.

On May 9, 2023 at night, Fornillos was shot while riding a motorcycle in Barangay Nazareth.

He was rushed to the hospital but later died due to severe brain damage caused by the gunshot wound.

Meanwhile, some netizens said Andales is the alleged "sugar daddy" of Jone Orog, the victim's girlfriend.
