At least 8 people left wounded in the early morning  mass shooting in Portland, Oregon

A suspect is on the run after opening fire on a group of men and women in Portland, Oregon early Saturday morning,

According to a statement from the Portland Police Bureau, at approximately 2:10 am Saturday, police received a call of multiple people shot in the 300 block of Southwest 3rd Avenue in Portland.

When officers arrived, they found at least eight people suffering from gunshot wounds. Police performed lifesaving measures on the scene until paramedics arrived and transported the victims to the hospital. One victim is considered life-threatening.

Police say the suspect or suspects in the shooting have fled the scene and no one has been arrested. Police are also not releasing suspect descriptions, according to the press release.
