Cuban police attacked a photojournalist during mass protests leaving him with bloody face

Ramón Espinosa, a photographer for the AP news agency, was attacked by the police when he was covering the demonstrations in Cuba this Sunday, July 11.
In photos that circulated on social networks, it is seen how Espinosa is grabbed by several, with the intention of attacking him. The ADN Cuba portal reviewed
Also, in another photograph it is seen how the graphic report has a bloody face, which is presumed that he was hit in the face with some blunt object.
AP Photographer Was Attacked When Demonstrations In Cuba: More Repression
During these spontaneous protests, it was learned that more than dozens of people were detained by police agents of the Cuban regime, for daring to raise their voices in the face of the appalling living conditions, to which the island's citizens have been subjected for more than 60 years.
According to what was published by the EFE news agency, this Monday morning the island woke up with a tense calm, and without internet on mobile phones; so it is difficult to know in real time what is happening in the nation.
Missing persons
As expected, these demonstrations were repressed, resulting in dozens of arrests. For this reason, activists and opponents have denounced on social networks that there are people who have disappeared after participating in the protests, especially in Havana.
In social networks, complaints have multiplied with videos that expose the repression; and police violence in cities and towns on the island.

In turn, the spokesmen for the Cuban regime have attributed these demonstrations as an alleged attempt by the United States to destabilize that country.
